Like Shooting Arrows at a Tree.

It was time for Yuroic to do another big training class, he had been putting off for a long time and he couldn't find another excuse not to teach a big class of Padawans. He figured it would be good for the Padawans to learn something new, something that wasn't necessarily Jedi training. To hone their skills for when they might not be able to use the Force, or want to remain undetected and not use the Force. To be well versed in using a bow took patience, training and dedication to become skilled with one. It would offer the Padawans more skill in combat than simply using their Lightsabers or a blaster, more variety could put the Sith on the back foot.

Stretching his muscles, he could feel the tension in his muscles from his morning exercises. He was definitely starting to feel his age more, not that he would let Asaraa know that, she would never let it go if she found out that he was starting to admit he was getting on. Wandering the halls in his green robes, Yuroic collected his spare bows from his locker and several dozens of arrows. He had decided to take the class outside, to a clearing in a deep wooded area, it would serve the perfectly as the location of the class.

Arriving at the class, Yuroic set everything up. There were many ways he could approach the class, in the past he had done a simple class on it which had been successful. However, he figured that the Padawans might like try something a little more exciting, an assault course of sorts, he hoped it would be tricky but to succeed would be incredibly rewarding. Looking around, Yuroic nodded his head as he crossed his arms and waited for students to arrive.

Through his correspondence with the Silver Jai known as [member="Jerek Zenduu"], the young Dathomirian had heard that there was to be a skill class on archery at the Silver Rest.

To the Mistwalkers of Shaol'mara, archery was an important life skill. Not only was the bow a traditional weapon of the Daughters of Allya, but an important tool for a hunter. The bow taught many lessons to those who were willing to learn from it. Patience. Strength. Coordination.

But Jorah had only been instructed in the Dathomirian ways of archery. Just as there were many ways of performing magic, surely there were alternative views to drawing a bow.

It was that singular curiosity that prompted the boy to seek permission to travel from Ryloth to Kashyyyk. BB-3J had piloted the transport that had brought him between the two worlds -- still such a strange thing as to sail the sea of the heavens -- and now the boy had reported to the class. He wore the traditional attire of a Dathomiri archer, and carried a bow just in case that the students were responsible for their own.

Upon arrival, the horn crowned youth found himself in the presence of another maleling. Was this the instructor? It was difficult to know or guess. The ways of the offworlders were strange.

"Greetings," the youth intoned politely, bowing toward the older being in any case. As he straightened back up, the Nightbrother said, "I am Jorah."

A bow was one thing Reggie wanted to add to his arsenal, seeing many different situations that would serve him well if he had one and could use it properly. Having a lightsaber was cool, but there was sure to be times when he couldn't use a lightsaber or he didn't want the lethal potential that came with such a weapon. That was why he had a staff made and trained to be proficient with it, to give himself more options. Learning to use the bow would be beneficial in multiple ways, so this class interested the Padawan.

When he arrived at the training area in the woods, he saw [member="Jorah zos Darnus"], someone he had seen once in a lecture about a different view of the force. He nodded towards the Dathomirian with a smile. Then he turned to their instructor and bowed to them. "Its nice to see you again Master Xeraic and I look forward to learning from you." The Padawan then took a look at their surroundings, hoping to understand how Master [member="Yuroic Xeraic"] was going to instruct them through what he had set up.
