- Saberstaff: The lightsaber Oran Ren uses is modeled along the saberstaff variant of the weapon. The two blade design allows for Oran to engage multiple opponents at once, as well form a more rounded and solid defense against projectile assaults.
- Saberstaff: While able to fight multiple foes, the nature of the saberstaff itself prevents Oran from effectively fighting multiple foes. In a straight forward battle against a single foe, he has the advantage, but against multiple threats, while he can manage he will likely be overwhelmed himself.
Originally the weapon of his master within the Knights of Ren, Bram Ren, Oran claimed the weapon for himself following his masters death. The blade has since undergone many alterations and upgrades, though the core of the blade remains unchanged.
