Intent: To develop a new class of plasma-bladed melee weapon.
Development Thread: N/A
Manufacturer: Subach-Innes
Model: Axe
Affiliation: Independent
Modularity: Yes
Production: Minor
Material: Diatium(power cell), Turadium(handle), Crystal(focusing crystal, can vary)
Description: The lightaxe, a weapon similar to a lightsaber, was designed as a prototype series of weapons for use by specialist persons in the galaxy, eager to add a new weapon of plasma blade design to their collection. Similar to a lightsaber, almost the entire handle of the lightaxe forms the focusing circuitry. The result is a more powerful blade than a standard lightsaber, potentially capable of, like a Sith lightsaber, "breaking" the blade of a lightsaber with natural crystals. The two small emitters forming spikes are almost as useful as the main blade.

HOWEVER, there are some serious issues with the weapon in comparison with a lightsaber - for starters, the weapon's length is a serious issue considering the wide sweeps and over-the-shoulder strikes needed to adequately get a hit in with such a weapon. As well, the handle is still vulnerable to lightsaber strikes, which can damage the circuitry and deactivate the weapon. With a blade far smaller than that of a comparable lightsaber, a precise strike is definitively needed in order to get a good hit in on a target.
Classification: Axe
Size: Two-handed
Length: 1.5m
Weight: 5kg
Other Features: Lightsaber resistant blade and spikes

This is denied for several reasons;

1. A normal lightaxe (I.E. literally just a lightsaber in axe form) wouldn't, in my opinion, require a submission.

That being said, there's two major problems I have with this -

2. First off, a plasma blade is a plasma blade. You aren't breaking another lightsabers blade - that's a fairly blatant attempt at powergaming.

3. You have found a lightsaber resistant material (turadium) mentioned in two sources; a book, and SWTOR. The latter we generally don't accept as its game mechanics. On top of this, the metal has almost no information regarding it other than one place in which it was used. I find this insufficent grounds to validate it.

And on top of that, we literally just incorporated the major lightsaber resistant materials on a restricted items list, and to me this seems an attempt to circumvent the rules we just put in place.
