Public Life Day Celebration - Alderaan

kaboom-1170962-1982802-regular.jpg

Location: Anywhere on Alderaan

There are only a few occasions where everyone felt comfortable and safe to invite the whole Senate, any Jedi, Mandalorians and the Nobles of Alderaan on one world surely the space around the Alderaan system would be the most secure over the next few days. Life Day borrowed from the wookies of Kashyyyk and celebrated throughout the galaxy.

Today Alderaan wished to celebrate with everyone. The Cities across Alderaan made ready, the Sanctuary Coast, New Aldera, New Crevasse City, the deserts, the mountains and all of the coastal beaches looked to welcome anyone who wanted to celebrate. The desert made ready to host the pod racers who had come from far and wide to prove their skills. Jax Thio Jax Thio was in charge of making it happen.

There were a number of exhibitions and opportunities to share in the bounty of Alderaan. The wine, food and music could be heard in any sector of the planet as the people opened up and for once forgot the troubles and focused on memories, and the dedicated spirits like those of Ikenna Tahj Ikenna Tahj and Kilij Qel-Nosh Kilij Qel-Nosh , and always the thoughts of peace throughout.

The entire Senate of the Alliance had been invited. The Mandalorians too had been invited, those who had so generously given to those in need and the Jedi.

Alexandra had let her entire staff off yesterday today and tomorrow for life day she was going to enjoy it herself as she sat in New alda. She sat at a concert smiling hoping Naivia Neryn Naivia Neryn would show up but didn't get her hopes up she would still make an attempt to enjoy the evening. As music was played and fancy alderaani food was served she wore a red dress and was chatting up other in the mean time waiting for other notable people to show up. She had helped faith set up some of the festivities and coordinate Food and music she hoped Faith Organa Faith Organa would take this chance to enjoy herself.

Sanctuary City, Along the Sanctuary Coast
Alderaan
There was joy in the streets of Sanctuary City.

Hearts were often heavy there. The settlement was created as a place for refugees to come to find a second chance at a normal life, but these people were escaping so much struggle and danger, so much evil. That sort of trauma left little room for happiness on most days, as broken families toiled away to get by.

This was the one day they could forget their worries, and share the joy of Life.

The community gathered in the streets, trading gifts and food, exchanging pieces of the conglomerated cultures of the refugee city with their neighbors and friends. Music was on every street corner, either over speakers or performed by carolers. The delectable aromas of dishes from a hundred worlds wafted through the bustling streets, flavors mixing pleasantly in the cool coastal air.

Despite the cheer down below, a dark figure stayed distant from it all, staring out over the city skyline from a tall tower.

Alicio leaned up against his window, gazing down upon the Life Day celebrations passively. He was glad his initiative to unite Sanctuary City with the holiday had gone over well with it's people. He'd facilitated numerous parties and concerts across the city, ensuring that everyone would feel the magic of the season.

Well, everyone but him, at least.

Alicio saw his datapad buzz from across his room, on the low table he'd discarded it on. Another message from Ivarra, no doubt. Asking him to respectfully join in on the merriment. How it would be good for him to be seen among the people, how the experience would be good for his health. But it felt wrong for him to celebrate a galaxy with so much struggle and danger. So much evil.

Perhaps he could try to find the joy later. For now, Alicio was fine staying indoors, with only his thoughts to keep him company.

The Sanctuary City was filled with life and diversified beauty, a true beacon of what was possible and the hope that could come from devastation and loss. Tiresh walked among the refugees and local residents, taking in the smells of exotic foods and the bustle of happy celebration. She could not help but let a beaming smile spread infectiously across her face, her eyes dancing from person to person, gives smiles and nods to whoever happened to catch her gaze. This city represented so much of what she herself was working towards… sheltering refugees from their tragedies and helping them to rebuild and to thrive. If she came across either Faith Organa Faith Organa or Alicio Organa Alicio Organa , she would surely gush at their accomplishment and their hard work that had labored to make this a reality.

She also hoped to meet Isla Draellix-Kobitana Isla Draellix-Kobitana again at the festivities, feeling like this would be a moment that would be mutually enjoyed together with her new friend and fellow dreamer.

She gracefully approached a stall that smelled particularly delicious, giving the stall owner a big warm smile, "Your food smells amazing! Might I have a sample?" She asked lightly. She then stood there, engaging the owner in conversation as she learned about his culture and home planet, the traditions that accompanied the lovely dish, and the devastations that he encountered which had resulted in his families transition here.

The crisp clean mountain air mixing with a lake breeze lifted the spirits of the people in Aldera. Capital of Alderaan, the Life Day celebrations were most rambunctious here. While the Knights didn't have the day off, in fact they were on double duty and double alert watching the Queen and her guests, one Knight, in particular, had requested the day. Normally he'd have been back on Pamarthe, helping his village prepare for the Weeping, but he'd convinced most of his clan to visit him on Alderaan. Already the Gale and Walsh were butting heads but he was sure they'd enjoy their time in sunny, if not chilly, Alderaan rather than attempt to live through the boulder throwing storms of the Weeping.

This Life Day however brought with it a bit of extra flavor. A duel between two bitter rivals. Kilij Qel-Nosh Kilij Qel-Nosh stood across from him preparing for the bout. In his corner, Ike was rolling his shoulder out and testing his sword arm in little more than trousers and a tank top. The hum of his lightsaber felt good in his ears.

"It's been too long old friend," he murmured to the blade. Off to the side his companion yawned, the Lurix's jaw opening wide enough to snap shut around a wookie's torso.

"Don't give me that," he said in an admonishing tone, "We've got a good chance at winnin' this bout we do."

Isla was at another Lifeday party, this was amazing, she had never been one for socialising, but had promised herself she would make time, time to make new friends and also political allies.

Tonight was back on Alderaan, a lovely planet that she enjoyed visiting. The celebrations were much more humble tonight though and the festivities were aimed at people other than the nobility, so she had eschewed her usual choice of extravagant fine fashion and gone for something more playful and casual, a green snowflaked dress with dark green tights underneath. She felt a little silly, she shouldn't, she was a young woman and perfectly entitled to show some leg when she fancied, but it honestly wasn't really her, she loved her long flowing dresses. She wore a warm fur shoulder wrapping and made sure she had applied her Thermaluxe before heading out into the cold. Sampling all the mixture of cultural celebrations that the refugee crisis had gathered together.

"Your food smells amazing! Might I have a sample?"
Visiting the local stands and picking herself a cardboard box full of aromatic noodles and some confit fish product she didn't recognise, Isla heard a strangley familiar voice. "of all the people? She looked across from the stall and say Tiresh Kobitana-Draellix Tiresh Kobitana-Draellix standing there. "It is lovely to see you again Senator, isn't all this so interesting," she gestured with the chopsticks she was holding. "come here and try some of this if you like, this friendly gentleman is doing himself out of business with his portion sizes, I could never eat it all." she lifed up a piece of the fish and a bundle of noodles towards Tiresh to offer to feed them to her. Then laughed, a couple of spiced wines and she was feeding senators in the street.

Being a scion of a Great house of Alderaan meant that Kilij would be at all the parties that were celebrated on Life Day. The noble managed to rub elbows with all the who's who in Parliament and the Alderaan government. Unlike the other knights who had official duties, Kilij's station allowed him to enjoy the celebrations.

But now the buzz was about a duel between himself and Ikenna Tahj Ikenna Tahj , Ike seemed to see Kilij as some rival after his ascension to Swordmaster. Perhaps he was just jealous that his rank and social status did not allow him to hold such a title. One had to be born to one of the Great Houses to hold such a title. While Kilij ignored the rivalry, word had spread to Queen Faith Organa Faith Organa , who now wanted to see the two duel, joust, and fight for the entertainment and perhaps the fundraising potential such an event would bring.

"You're not going to lose to some lowborn are you?" A noble of Alde ask Kilij as he removed his cape. "It looks bad for the rest of us."
Kilij sighed. "You don't even know how to hold a sword, let alone wield one. So just enjoy the match." He spoke then unhooked his lightsaber from his belt. Dressed in golden Jedi robes specifically worn for katas and dueling, his outfit represented both his station and place among the Jedi.

Lightsaber hilt in hand Kilij arrived center stage to where the duel would commence, smiling to the applause of the other nobles.

Rolling his neck and cracking his knuckles, Ike made his way to the center of the arena and put his forearm out to tap. Once he did the duel would start and the Storm of Alderaan would set upon this young man. Both previously Jedi, Ike had only gained the title and rank of Jedi Knight before he eloped and wound up married into one of the New Great Houses. If rumors were true, Kiliji had attained the rank of Master in a few short years, a startlingly quick progression for someone who joined the order so late.

But he was an armchair Jedi as far as Ike was concerned. Never seen war, never seen real combat faced with life or death. No, he was like most nobles. All pomp, chock full of titles barely worth their weight in salt. Ike sniffed, waiting for his opponent to start.

"C'mon now," he said in his deep, rumbling Pamarthen accent. "Don't leave an old man waiting all day now. Me bones is gettin' cold."

From above, Alicio's city appeared freckled with color.

Sharp dots of white, yellow, green and red dusted the city in ambient light, each one representing a family, a business, a person, a life. Alicio couldn't help but stare over the city, sweeping his eyes over each light, wondering who was behind each light, what they had to mourn, and what they had to celebrate.

Alone, each light wouldn't cast away much darkness. But together, they lit up a planet.

Alicio could appreciate the symbolism. He walked over to his counter, picked up his datapad, and wrote down the thought; perhaps he could use it for a speech one day. Now that his datapad was in his hand, he could see the messages that his bodyguard, Ivarra, sent him. He sighed deeply, then set his face.

He didn't want to spend another Life Day alone.

Throwing on his winter coat, the young noble went to the dreaded outside, where he was met by an older woman with dark skin, holding two candied fruits. She passed one to him knowingly.

"Finally deciding to join the party, Alicio?" Ivarra bit into her dessert, with a delectable-sounding crunch.

He gave his oldest friend a dubious look. "I can't let an opportunity to absorb Sanctuary City's culture pass me by."

"You may find it easier to absorb it's culture if you get into the holiday spirit," Ivarra shot back, taking up a natural position at Alicio's wing as they walked.

He looked up at the sky, grey eyes shining. A light dusting of snow began to fall.

"I'll try."

Upon hearing the familiar voice, Tiresh turned and let out a surprised giggle in mid bite upon seeing Isla Draellix-Kobitana Isla Draellix-Kobitana . She was sure that she looked quite exquisite with the pastry flakes crumbing down her face.

“Grand Admiral!” She exclaimed in a slightly muffled tone as she brushed her lips from the flakes and quickly swallowed, giving her a blushed smile,

“So good to see you!” Tiresh nodded at her gesture to the festivities, taking another look around herself, “Yes! It is a true symbol of what can be achieved! And the food is… quite excellent!”

Tiresh took the few steps over to the stall that Isla was frequenting, giving her a big smile and a look of amused concern as she attempted to let the Grand Admiral feed her a small portion of her own dish. The exchange seemed to go rather well as she extended out her neck and opened her mouth... save for a stray noodle which decided to grace the side of her chin with its presence. Tiresh let out another cute giggle through her closed lips as she quickly escorted the noodle back into her mouth.

She then closed her eyes, nodding with delight at the tasty bite, letting a small sound of pleasure escape. As she swallowed, her eyes noticed the cup of spiced wine that Isla was sipping out of, immediately raising her eyebrows and pointing with her finger, “Now where might a senator get a sample of such a lovely and aromatic beverage? It would be a shame to not experience everything that these lovely cultures have to offer! Haha!”

She was quite enjoying herself... truly feeling a sense of lightheartedness and delight at the atmosphere and the festivities that surrounded them.

Faith had a front row seat to this joust, sword fight whatever they had decided it should be. Normally she wouldn't encourage this kind of thing but these two like to butt heads. They needed to come to an understanding.

Her hope was that they would lose the tension and find a way to respect one another for their skills and abilities. They were both indispensable to her and each offered up skills kept her safe, that helped her every day in ways she didn't think they knew.

But this would be fun.

Isla watched as Tiresh sampled the food off of her chopsticks, happily slurping the last of her noodles off of her chin, flicking the smallest amount onto Isla's face. The Admiral laughed and gestured to the Senator. "oh dear me, you'd think that Senator would know that on some planet's, messily slurping your noodles is a declaration of war" she realised she was talking with her chopsticks raised. "sorry, when I have a drink my mother comes out in me, and fact check that declaration of war thing."

She gently dabbed the small amount of noodle liquid off of her face before having another sip on her drink and beckoning Tiresh follow. It was a short walk away until they found the bar where she purchased the drink. Made only slightly longer by her stopping to pick up some rose flavoured gelatinous cubes rolled in icing sugar. "going to have to hit the gym after this event I think, I love all this stuff."

It was so strange to be enjoying a collection of people only brought together by tragedy, but they deserved as much enjoyment as the rich gave themselves, and every credit spent here could be an opportunity for them. And Isla was going to be spending a lot of opportunity this evening. She popped the cube in her mouth, delicious.

The wine merchant was not your typical wine dealer, the server was a heavy set toydarian man with two large cauldrons over low flames and was using a ladel to portion the drink into cups for each person. "Two more spiced wines please" The toydarian ladled two cups and handed them out, Isla handed one to Tiresh and took a deep smell of the other cauldron. "This one smells tasty, but apparently it is mildy poisonous to humans, so I'm going to pass on that."

Isla held up her cup and tapped it against Tiresh's maybe next time they meet they would do it without a drink in their hands she giggled to herself.

She laughed lighly at Isla Draellix-Kobitana Isla Draellix-Kobitana ’s remark about how her noodle slurp could be interpreted as a declaration of war, “Don’t you just love politics? Do one thing wrong and you might just start a war! How tragic.” Unfortunately, it wasn’t far from the truth.

“My father would say that there is a time for everything… a time to celebrate and a time to... work out. This is definitely the former! Also… don’t quote me on that word for word, haha!” She gracefully picked one of the gelatinous cubes from the purchased box, taking a small bite and relishing in the flavor as they made their way to the stand,

“So what brings the Grand Admiral of the Ashlan Crusade to this fine festival? Do you have much of an agenda for the evening?” She took the cup and took a sniff. Delightful. She took a sip. Even more so.

"This one smells tasty, but apparently it is mildy poisonous to humans, so I'm going to pass on that."

“Oh dear!” Tiresh exclaimed lightly as she peered over the counter towards the caldron in suspect. “That would be a nasty night!” She tapped her cup against Isla’s, then took another sip.

“So tell me something I don’t yet know about yourself.” Tiresh stated as she turned back to Isla with a light smile, “As political partners and fellow visionaries, I feel like the more we share, the stronger we will be... would you agree?”

“So tell me something I don’t yet know about yourself.”
"ooh, fun game, let me think?" was she asking for something political or relevant to their dealings or something just for fun? She had specified that tonight was for fun though, she had one.

"OK, I've got one, its not a political thing or anything. When I was sixteen I entered and won a beauty pageant on Atrisia, I think my final speech I involved brining galactic peace or something." said the Admiral who has invaded several planet's since her teens. "Well, one of the judges, a fairly elderly but wealthy man delivered, not offered, actually delivered a corellian freighter to my Father in order to obtain my hand in marriage. Luckily Dad told him to Kark off but yeah, that happened." she smiled widely sharing a fun childhood story, she was very glad her father hadn't married her off back then, as much as they were nagging her about finding a husband, they would never just dump her on someone unpleasant. She looked into the bottom of her cup, this wine was going down much too easily, she was thankful that the heat probably burned off a lot of the alcohol content. "Its your turn now"

The sounds of lifeday music drifted through the air from a band in a town square a few streets over and Isla found herself gently dancing to it while she ate tasty snacks and drank from her cup. She was intrigued what little secret her friend might share, but she was also curious about other things.

"So how about family? Are you married? Children? This doesn't count as your 'something I don't know about you but the way, I am just being nosey."

It was beginning to lightly snow now and a shiver went down Isla's spine as flakes landed on her exposed back. Wrapping her fur shrug around her, she tucked under a wooden shelter provided by the bar for its patrons and leaned up against a wall.

Kilij came out and took a fancy bow for the Queen, prompting many of the nobles of the great houses to Applaud. He turned to the 'Storm of Alderaan' and wondered what great battle he won to give himself such a title, he was going to ask but instead smiled. "Tired of waiting? Isn't patience a virtue of the Jedi?" Kilij gave a slight chuckle. "You forgot to honor the Queen." He was being a bit pomp, but it was true, one was supposed to bow to the Queen before such a fight. "Or is there some rustic tradition you do that I'm unfamiliar with?"

Kilij finally unhooked his lightsaber and ignited a brilliant blue blade. In a flashy show he twirled the blade about, quickly so the blade turned to a blue, and he himself. The crowd cheered and applauded, in a gladiator fight one was supposed to win the crowd. Despite his Veteranosity, Ike seemed unfamiliar with this fact. Kilij could tell the man was ready for a fight. "I'm waiting for you. Let the duel begin."

"Ohh the Queen'll be fine if I don't brown my nose with the dirt for a day lad."

Ike activated his own lightsaber, the yellow blade coming in a few centimeters shorter than a standard blade. The hilt looked just a little too small for Ike's big hands and was sleek and simple in its design. With the duel begun Ike wasted no time in closing the gap between the pair with a lunge. A clearly telegraphed move, his blade came in an arc from above. He was quick for his age and size and there was a finality to his movements, like a great wave crashing against the shore.

The Force was like a raging storm in Ike's mind, but he was the Storm Father. It went where he commanded. Laid waste at his call and brought with it new life.

Tiresh snorted, some of her spiced wine making it up into her nose as a result. She instantly cupped a hand over her mouth as her body shook with silent laughter. Then she winced with pain as a burning sensation tingled in her nose.

"Ow!" She squeaked. "What a creep! Oh force!" She wiped the tears of laughter away from her eyes. She turned and put her hand against her own cheek as she studied Isla's face and features. It was truly no surprise to Tiresh that Isla had been in a beauty pageant. "I mean, your absolutely gorgeous… of coarse you won a beauty pageant! I… think I have… spiced wine in my nose…" She waved her hand next to her face attempting to dry the tears that were swelling in her eyes, partially due to the laughter and partially to do from the burning sensation. "Ow!"

Tiresh was grateful that the Grand Admiral seemed content with enjoying the evening. It often felt like a dance when It came to political spheres… never knowing how long to remain on the personal level, and always wondering if they simply wished to move on to business. Tiresh felt a genuine connection with the woman, and so she was beginning to feel like she was, in fact, very genuine in her desire to connect simply as friends. What a refreshing relief! She took a deep breath as she recovered from the spiced wine, her finger tapped the side of her chin as she mused upon the best story to share with the Grand Admiral.

"Well… when I was a girl… 13… I was climbing a mountainside near our family estate with some friends. And I was wearing this dress… it was completely inappropriate for what we were doing, but I thought it was pretty and I wanted to wear it, so…" She shrugged with a laugh, "… anyways, we were climbing down, and I slipped on some loose rocks. It sent me falling over a small cliff side, nothing terrible, but it was scary enough. But the worst part was that my dress got caught on an outcropping of branches…" She paused, covering her mouth again for a moment as she tried to hold in her own laughter, "Well… I ended up hanging from this tree in my undergarments… my arms and head still stuck in the dress. Just dangling there! Oh force!" She shook her head, her hand still covering her mouth, "And the boys had to come and rescue me! I was so embarrassed. I never wore a dress on the mountains ever again!"

She let out a loud and genuine laugh through her hand, her eyes closed tightly as she recalled the traumatizing memory. She finally regained her composure and drank down the rest of the spiced wine, "Another please!" She beckoned to the gentleman in the stall. Her body was enjoying the warmth of the drink in the brisk weather. As the snow began to fall, she shivered slightly as well, looking up in the sky as the snow drifted down. She closed her eyes for a moment, letting the soft flakes grace her face and melt against her skin. It was a delightful sensation, one that she had never experienced while on Lujo.

But dear me, it was slightly chilly! Maybe it was the wine, but Tiresh was now comfortable enough to simply tug herself under the fur shrug with Isla. She let out a light laugh as they enjoyed the warmth of the fur together.

"Hope you don't mind… It is getting chilly out and this is… lovely." She said. "So family…" She pressed her cheek up against the fur, "I've told you some about my mother and father. I'm an only child… my father and mother were never married and so it was somewhat of an affair. My Mother was the Senator of Lujo… and she was… assassinated…" Tiresh cleared her throat, lifting her chin slightly at the weight of remembering such things, "I have always lived with my father. Never got married… no kids… guess I just… haven't found someone yet." She shrugged nonchalantly, taking another sip of the spiced wine, then shifting her head to face Isla,

"Ok Ms. Nosey… Your turn. Family? Kids? Lover? Who's being nosy now? haha!" She gave her a wink. She had never remembered feeling so relaxed and able to let go and truly be herself, especially within the spheres she frequented. It was beyond refreshing... however she was secretly growing insecure, wondering if perhaps she had crossed a line with the Grand Admiral, or perhaps she had misread her and Tiresh had misstepped. She studied the woman's face for any clue as to how she truly felt about how close they seemed to be getting. She was prepared to take it back into a strictly professional direction, she did not want to risk what they were building together. But secretly, she craved companionship... and she felt as if Isla and her could truly become close...

"By the way... Please call me Tiresh. Titles are so overrated."

"I mean, your absolutely gorgeous… of coarse you won a beauty pageant! I… think I have… spiced wine in my nose…"
"Thank you, it's lovely of you to say, you are a striking beauty yourself, and that little dribble of wine coming out your nose just brings the whole look together."

No sooner had teased the Senator, then it was Isla's turn to snort as she listened to her friend's story. Imagining the teen half way up a mountain hanging by her underclothes? Why was she picturing that it was a ball gown and bloomers. "That is ridiculous!" she laughed out loud "your parents must have been fuming at you, I'll have to remember that when you are taking me to task over some political scuffle." It was easy to forget that even the most powerful people were once someone's child, making silly childhood mistakes, it would certainly take the teeth out of a political argument to imagine it.

Isla was a little taken aback when Tiresh pulled in close but it didn't feel uncomfortable, Isla too knew how it felt to just want a friend to be close too, she had few friends and were mostly Crusade related. As Tiresh spoke, it was nice to hear more about her but she was saddened by the loss of her mother. Isla didn't know what she might do if her own mother died.

"I am sorry to hear about your mother, truly." Isla replied to her.

"So my family, well Dad is a retired Admiral and Mum is a Doctor and they sort of live between Bosph and Atrisia mostly. I have no children, despite my parents protestations, they love my career, but are eager for their only child to bring them an heir to the family name." lover? Now that was a very personal question from her newly acquainted political contact, maybe this was an actual friendship, and a private, contented smile crossed Isla's lips.

"as you can imagine, as a woman in my position I keep many lovers, there is far too many to tell..." she cringed at her own attempt at humour. "very little to tell on that front really, I don't know if you might think it silly, but I don't want to be one of those people with a string of pointless conquests. When I give myself to someone, I want them to mean something to me and I need to know I mean something to them. I'm just a bit of fashioned like that I guess." now that was an overshare and she laughed. "wow, Tiresh, I am sorry if that is not what you were asking for." She blushed a little, Isla Draellix was not shy, nor did she gush, she was the most powerful woman on the galactic North East, she needed to remember that, but there was just something about the bond she felt forming with the woman currently resting her head on her furs.

“It appears I have made a terrible error in sharing such a memory with you!” She exclaimed in jest as Isla mentioned that she would be sure to remember the story in the midst of their political dealings.

Tiresh nodded slowly as she quietly listened to her speak while looking out over the snow-graced streets, people merrily making there way about. She sipped at her beverage, still mesmerized by the beautiful snowfall. “It seems you come form a very traditional family then. That must be quite a weight you bare… to carry on your families legacy. I’m sure you will find someone in the right time of things… A woman of your stature and title must likely have no shortage of supply when it comes to suiters.” She turned and gave Isla a soft smile, “Although it is often hard to know someones true motives in our occupation. That does complicate things. Especially when it comes to love.”

Being from Lujo, she was not accustomed to traveling with jackets or fur. She felt slightly embarrassed that she had not brought her own, and truly hoped that she was not being an inconvenience. However, as she observed Isla, she did not sense that to be the case.

Tiresh covered her mouth with some of the fur as her body shook with a silent laugh at Isla’s remark and jest at having countless lovers. She then let out an audible laugh at seeing the woman cringe at her own joke. Tiresh listened intently as Isla shared about her value for wanting meaning in a relationship, and not going about it casually.

“Oh no no! I am sorry if I overstepped my friend… I find it refreshing. Too often I wrestle with the idea of finding someone within my occupation… Am I just a notch on their belt? Is it real? Will it end poorly and result in a failed diplomatic connection? She sighed, shaking her head. “We live rather lonely lives, do we not?” She sipped on her drink thoughtfully, then a slight smile crossed her face as she looked back towards Isla, “In honesty, I truly enjoy you, Grand Admiral. I find that many of my fears are not present. However… I am also drinking quite a bit of this fine beveragehaha! So there is that to factor in. But anyways… She turned back to the crowd, “It is rare to find a genuine connection with someone in our line of work. And… at risk of assuming too much… I feel that we have found something rather genuine! And I enjoy our talks… and our taste in fine vintages!” She raised her cup with a warm smile, “So here is to lovely chats and fine vintages.”
