Liberate [Mandos/Nemene]

By now Siobhan had landed and presumably linked up with Ordo and crew. Once Ordo had cut his way through the entrance with his orange blade she was in through behind him, weapons ready. Needless to say Siobhan would be unaware of the fact that Nemene was already on the way out, possessing a well-preserved survival instinct and all that. Equally she would be unable to sense Mia given the field that prevented the Liberator from using the Force. Still that did not stop her determination and so she quickly made her way through.

On another note, this writer approves of a lightsabre being referred to as a glorified can opener. Her boltgun was ready to spew out death if needed and she steeled herself as they approached, marking the rooms they passed through and ready to provide cover if needed. The Mandalorians had been sparse on the details, but she found eeriely reminded of Kaelin's dungeon. The images of how she had suffered under the torture of the Sith torture queen, more importantly the agony Tegaea had endured before Siobhan came to rescue her when she was on the brink of death, were etched into her mind. The thought made the anger rise inside her yet she clamped down on it, for now. She could only hope that this was not the same - or worse - but then by nature Siobhan was a pessimist.

Then suddenly she heard noise, like tapping on the floor. There was probably still some distance, there was a chance that it was nothing...or it could be Mia. "You hear that? That might be her," she spoke quietly to Ordo as she went off into what might be the direction.

Nemene didn't bother waiting around within the facility. She knew the Mandalorians would want to make quick headway to ensure that Mia survived...well at least she would think they would still expect her to be alive, optimists as most of them where. Checking her Chrono the Queen of Rattatak made her way down into the bowels of the massive meteor, reaching one of the three hangars within the facility to find her ship prepped and ready to leave.

Capture never entered her mind, not with the type of ship she kept here.

Nemene boarded the Sicarius-Class Stealth Yacht without further pause, walking up the ramp and heading into one of the more comfortable parts of the ship straight away. She didn't bother informing the pilot that she had boarded, one of the Sirens would take care of that. Walking into her stateroom Nemene sat down on an acceleration couch, letting out a loud breath of exasperation, this entire thing had been a disaster.

She felt the rumbling of the engines as the Stealth-Yacht rose itself up from the hangar deck, its wings lowering and setting themselves into place.

The Yacht shot forward, exiting the hidden hangar bay and disappearing into the blackness of space almost immediately. Again there was no fear of being caught. The Sicarius' stealth systems would prevent sensor detection, and Nemene's lack of a force signature would ensure that none of the more...plucky Mandalorians would be able to track them.

The Queen lay her head back against the couch, a sigh of exasperation leaving her as the ship dashed through the asteroid field and jumped to hyperspace.

Nolan applied the thrusters on his jetpack. Landing beside the droid [member="Ordo"] rode in on. He follows Ordo inside and begins to clear rooms behind Ordo. His L3 River Rifle leveled and primed to fire.

Clear Sir!, Nolan marked the first room with his beskad and he moved back into formation. Mia, hang on, we're coming.

Kable filed in after [member="Ordo"], his L3 River Rifle at ready. [member="Siobhan Kerrigan"] arrived and joined in the line of Commandos. Kable had never worked with the legendary warrior before, but her reputation left her revered by many a Mandalorian, Kable included. Mia Monroe had powerful friends...

They moved as a unit, clearing rooms with precision and efficiency, and marking the cleared rooms as they made their way deeper into the facility.
When Ordo and Siobhan went to investigate the tapping sound, Kable followed behind, but walked backwards to cover their rear. His back lightly pressed up against Siobhan's back so that she could guide him, and so she knew that he had her's and Ordo's six.
Kable hoped that the tapping sound was indeed Mia, however a small part didn't want it to be, because he was afraid to see what they would find....

"I hear it." Ordo said to Sio as the team came to a halt. "That's Mia, everyone else would be to gutless to try."

Ordo wasted no time and began moveing toward the knocking at a much quicker pace. A gaurd on patrol rounded the corner in front of him and was quickly punched in the face hard enough to turn glasses into contact lenses. The Mandalorian Field Marshall wasn't on a stealth mission now, this was hasty rescue and the condition of any unlucky personnel was not even on his priority list.

He moved to the right from where the guard had come and rushed along as the tapping grew louder.

"I'm coming sis." He said as they moved.

Ordo raced along to stop at a door in the white painted facility. He hit the pad beside the door....nothing. Ordo then decided he would do things the mando way and quickly blasted the panel with his rifle.

The door swooshed open and to his horror his Sister lay inside. Blood stained everything and she was mutilated terribly but she was alive for now.

"Mia!" Ordo said letting his rifle hand down as he ran to her. "Aw Mia what in the 9 Corellian hells did they do to you."

Ordo bent down and tried to pick up his friend as the others came in.

Burst through the room they did. Siobhan had come alongside Ordo and in a blur was in the room alongside him to behold...the sight of a nightmare. Mia lay there, broken and terribly mutilated, blood stained everywhere. For a moment Siobhan just stood there, seemingly paralysed while Ordo sprang into action, the force field in the room having presumably been destroyed when he blasted the pad beside the door.

In her mind Siobhan saw a flash of the gruesome scene when she had found Tegaea on that horrible day in the warehouse. Brutally maimed as one of her eyes had been cut out, covered in her own blood and on the brink of death. Kaelin Isandros standing over her with malicious glee written over her face, a lightsabre the colour of blood held above her wife.

Pure rage coursed through her body, so palpable that it felt like a physical presence enveloping the room. Then, as her mind snapped back to reality, she acted. Invisible fingers curled across the chain that was around Mia's neck and ankles, her telekinetic grip tightened and then she crushed it, snapping it in two and liberating the Liberator from it, the binds being tossed against the wall, with such force they broke upon impact.

"Goddess, Mia. We got to get her out now," she quickly rushed over to her friend.

Mia was utterly convinced she was dreaming, her foot stopped tapping as her lidless eye stared up at Ordo, a faint smile at the corners of her lips. She could feel him though, feel his touch as he tried to lift her. She could feel him in the force. Emotions swelled in her chest, she wanted to pull herself up and hug him, but she had no hands to do so. "Ori'vod..." she sobbed. She could taste blood in her mouth as she finally gave in to everything and lets her walls down. Whether she was hallucinating or not, it didn't matter. Her brother was here and she was safe with him.

The pressure around her beck and ankles lessened and she drew her eye from Ordo to settle on Sio. "Well, if it ain't the Great Annihilator herself." she gave a lopsided grin that faded into a grimace of pain. Her eye rolled into the back of her head and she drew in a painful gasp of air. "You come to take me to Manda, Ori'vod?" He wasn't who she expected to guide her to the oversoul, he was alive after all wasn't he. Surely it should have been her father. Confusion and pain racked her features.

Kable stood in the doorway as the [member="Ordo"] and [member="Siobhan Kerrigan"] tended to [member="Mia Monroe"]. The scene that burned forever into his retinas was horrific. Mia had been tortured and mutilated, another atrocity done at the hands of the Sith. Something hot in Kable grew hotter. He had lost his entire family and clan, save for his brother Nolan Detta, to the Sith. And here he was again, looking at the mangled body of someone he cared about. She was alive, but that was a only a small ounce of relief.

Footsteps echoed off the walls signalling the approach of incoming resistance. The fire burned hotter...
Kable turned and walked out of the doorway. He activated the squad frequency and updated Ordo and Sionhan <We got company incoming. Get her out of here, The Dettas are on it>
Then speaking to his brother as he walked down the corridor in the direction of the incoming footsteps <Well, brother. Should we ask them to surrender?>

Surrender, now where's the fun in that? Nolan racked a new power cell into the L3 River Rifle he was carrying.

The footsteps grew to a thunder as the incoming enemy gained ground.

Let's give them till the count of 3...THREE!!!

Nolan burst into a run, Least kills buys the next round!!

L3 spitting round after round at the incoming Sith Guards, a shame for all this ammo to go to waste on such lowley targets, but Nolan would continue to fire until he ran out, then, his Beskad would taste blood for the first time tonight.

Ordo nodded to Sio who had been a good friend multiple times now and scooped up Mia gently.

"The Manda said your not off the duty yet, Vod'ika." He said as the detta's transmission came through, "You're not cleared for transfer to another front do you understand Verda."

He wasted no time moving toward the door the Room.

"Ori'vod Kerrigan." He said over his shoulder, "this place needs to come down don't you think?"

He sent a transmission also to his Ship and the astromech he kept on hand for repairs and maintenance followed the plan and began guiding the Jo'henry toward the facility. They wouldn't be here long and Mia could get the care she needed.

Siobhan was not really familiar with Mando'a and so part of the conversation between Mia and Ordo would go over her head. However, though not the sharpest lightsabre she understood enough to get the gist of it. "No, Mia. It's not your time to enter the Manda yet. You're still needed...wanted on this front," she said softly, following the theme of Ordo.

She quickly fell in line after him as he moved out with Mia scooped up. They had faced no opposition, the Sith who had done this had long cleared out. The only thing where she could let loose her anger upon was this facility. Every part of it had to be torn down. Incandescent fury had built up inside her, with such force that containing it was an effort as it felt like she might burst. Such was its potency that it might feel like having a physical presence of its own, being primal in nature and begging for an outlet.

"Yes, yes, it does...Ori'vod Ordo," the word sounded foreign to her and she presumably mangled the pronounciation. "I'm going to tear it down," her voice was as icy as a storm on Hoth.

Darkness lured at the edge of her vision as they responded to her, their voices seemed like miles away, whispers against the wind in her ears. Pain shuddered through her and she convulsed in Ordo's arms, crying out as she did. Reality came back with a harsh smack as she realised she was moving, this was not the way to manda. "No..." the plea was just a whisper. She didn't want to survive, she didn't want to face the world again to seal up the wounds. She knew how the story would end and it wasn't a path she wanted to walk.

"Let me go..."

Darkness engulfed her entirely, as she drew in a rattling breath, uttering a single word before unconsciousness finally took her.

"Rel."
