Two tactical droids? We might need to put more ship crews together! Unless it would make a lot of sense for both to coordinate and work together. That would be something!

Ah! A fellow tactician! They could definitely work together and coordinate, sure. Unless you want to put more ship crews together, if you want that "political rivalry onboard the ship that threatens to tear the ship's crew apart" kind of vibe, I can do that too. Whatever the case, I'm just here to develop stories with people, whatever we do is completely up for grabs!

I like both options, certainly Ascendent would get quite competitive if they were put into two groups. Working together, he may be a bit haughty at first but would come around pretty quick.

From a leadership position, it might make sense to have multiple crews, to help create a definitive shift system, when one crew is at work the other is on break and then they can switch at x times. But it is your call and he can work with just about anything.

Yeah, having multiple crews makes a ton of sense! That could definitely be a fun thing to include, the different watches, especially for the longer ship-based threads that are more just about daily ship duties. One crew can be on the bridge while others are just doing whatever. And the idea of two hyper-competitive tactical droids on a primarily sentient-crewed ship sounds like it could be a lot of fun.

It certainly adds another story route to follow. Of course, the competitiveness likely dissipates somewhat during high-danger situations.

I'm thinking it's also about time for a new thread as well as the Maiden Voyage one. Start deploying hyperspace rescue beacons and running illegal trade interdiction.
