Hello Everyone!

Given the poll that took place in this thread we've noticed that Saturday seems to be the overwhelming choice; however, we have decided to move up the Town Hall to this Saturday, 9/12/2026 at 11:15 PM EST. We wanted to give it time for things to simmer down and for people to plan accordingly, but if we can swing it for this week, why wait?

Everything else stays the same, and we'll meet in the main SWRP Discord. With respect to everyone's time, we'll try to keep it to a maximum of two hours. That doesn't mean that you can't stay and hang with each other longer, but that's the time that SWRP Staff is specifically slotting in. Any and all are welcome, but for those of you who cannot make it Tefka Tefka will try to record it and get it hosted on YouTube so you can watch it at your leisure. I apologize for the time change and the late evening, but it's pretty much impossible to cover every time zone.

If you have any specific questions that you might not want to ask out loud, or if you can't make it, please PM me or a member of Staff with a list, and we will do our best to address it for you. We may not get to all of them, but we will do our utmost.

Again, the New Date and Time:

Saturday, 9/12/2026 at 11:15 PM EST

Sadly I will not be able to make it due to EU timezone, but I am just putting my questions in here Srina Talon Srina Talon .

1. Regardless of whether anyone believes the recent invasion results were biased, what does Staff think could reasonably be done to improve confidence in the judging process going forward?

2. Is there a reason constructive post-invasion feedback cannot be provided without turning it into an appeal of the result? If so, could Staff distinguish between feedback intended to help writers/factions improve and feedback intended to challenge the verdict? Basically make an "on-request"-style of feedback for a faction after the judgement an option.

3. Do Staff believe there is currently a culture of factionalism or clique behavior within the community, and if so, what responsibility does Staff believe it has in reducing that?

4. Do Staff recognize a recurring cycle of OOC factionalism within the community, where established social groups become closely associated with particular factions, conflicts develop around those groups, and over time the same people can end up being perceived alternately as the dominant clique and as the victims of community hostility? If Staff recognizes that pattern, what do you think is necessary to actually break it rather than simply resolving each individual conflict as it occurs?
