Hello!
I'm reaching out to the community because over the last few weeks SWRP Staff has noticed an increase in discussion and/or speculation about how or why certain things are handled the way they are. Some of it has been positive, some critical, and some has been going a little off the rails. Rather than let these conversations happen piecemeal across Discord DM's, secondhand, or suggestion threads, we'd like to bring as many people as possible into the same room with a Discord Town Hall.
We haven't had one in a while, mostly because we haven't needed one, but it's clear that things are getting lost in translation. We'd like to clear it up, if possible.

What will Staff do?
- We will keep the peace, listen, and document the minutes for the rest of the forum as we have done in previous years. If there are ideas that might benefit the forum, we will bring them to the rest of SWRP Staff for review.

I want to be upfront and let everyone know, however, that the stance on Invasion Summaries/Feedback will not be altered.
How does it work?
- We set a date and time and meet in the SWRP Discord for a Voice Call.
- Take your time and gather up questions and concerns so you can present them to SWRP Staff that are present.
- We will likely take turns talking and sharing, so we don't talk over each other.
- We will all treat each other with respect.
What is the goal?
- To have a conversation that isn't limited by the written word. Tone and intent can easily be misunderstood through text. Actually speaking to one another reminds us that there are people behind the screen and may help provide some clarity and understanding.
- To bring concerns, questions, and ongoing conversations into the open rather than allowing them to circulate through backchannels, rumors, or secondhand information. If something needs to be discussed, we'd rather discuss it together.

Dates: Tuesday 9/15/26 8PM EST and/or Saturday 9/19/26 at 11PM EST
