Magick in the Blood (Strength/Weakness): Due to the Yashuvhi bloodline Leoban is particularly strong in the force, it comes naturally to him and the manifestation of several of its powers come more easily to him and with less exertion. This has the side effect of making his presence more difficult to hide among other force sensitives if he doesn't take care to hide himself appropriately.
Survivalist (Strength): Yashuvhu has a varied amount of terrain. Leoban has spent an extensive amount of time in its wilderness including the Jungles, Forrests and Mountain regions making him adept at surviving in similar environments. During his time in the larger universe he has also become proficient in surviving other environments.
Tainted (Weakness): Leoban believes he can maintain a balance between light and dark within himself. It's hubris on his part. The dark side exists in Leoban as a subtle but simmering taint which can make him prone to outbursts of anger during stressful times and also causes him to be more susceptible to powers that play on his anger.
APPEARANCE
Leoban is of average height and weight. He generally appears to be in good physical condition even if he isn't exceptional in any particular way. Those who meet him can often see the power contained behind his eyes and some have remarked that the touch of the dark side is also visible there. Usually he wears a beard which is well maintained.

Leoban Saar was born on Yashuvhu a member of an ancient force sensitive bloodline known as the Yashuvhi that immigrated to the world thousands of years prior. As a member of the bloodline Leoban listened to stories of his ancestor Valara Saar when he was a boy learning how she would become the individual known as the Prophetess before discovering in earnest his own force sensitive nature. Among the jungles, forests and mountains of his homeworld he would hone his skills in the force. At a young age Leoban was recognized as particularly adept in his skill with the force and was sent on an exodus into the mountains of Yashuvhu.
During his journey Leoban discovered the ancient home of his ancestor Valara Saar and encountered her spirit, bonded with the force, briefly which directed him to tablets and journals she had kept regarding her experiences with the force. Leoban learned, expanded his base of knowledge and advanced his own understanding of the force through the teachings of his ancestor. Venturing into the mountains as a youth Leoban returned years later as an adult and boasting a new measure of power that many of those he had known could not fully comprehend. It made him envied amongst the Yashuvhi, others had become jealous of him and soon it became apparent that Leoban may not have been expected to ever return from his travels.
Leoban was driven from his home, aided in his escape by his mother who paid the price with her life. As he left onboard a transport Leoban vowed to return to his homeworld one day and reclaim the life that was taken from him. Like his ancestor Leoban traveled to the Inner Rim, encountered the Jedi and while he learned many basic things from them he was eventually denied entry into the Order. It was a small matter. Unbound by an established order Leoban was free to continue learning at his own pace and unhindered by misconceptions between the light and dark side of the force recognizing that both had their place in the universe. The Jedi were admirable in their teachings but they remained restricted and Leoban saw this as a weakness. The Sith would be no different.
On Korriban Leoban encountered ancient Sith spirits that tempted him into the embrace of the dark side but he has able to resist temptation long enough to leave the corrupt world. In reflection Leoban would learn to temper the use of the dark side with the light and vice versa however without formal training he remained at a disadvantage.
After his journeys had taken him abroad Leoban would return to Yashuvhu where he met those who had driven him from his home originally. Despite his attempts to remain calm an outburst of anger summoned up a terrible storm that destroyed his enemies and saw them driven before him but left Leoban weak mentally and simmering with the corruption of the dark side. It took time but he was able to regain his composure. Realizing that his sojourn was not complete Leoban left his homeworld again, this time of his own accord and ventured out into the galaxy seeking the self enlightenment that would allow him to balance the light with the dark....
