I need a duo partner for Bronze. I got from B5 to B2 in about four-five days but fell back because my irl friend Duo'd and can't win for poodoo. He literally seems to just attract the worst players, it's crazy.
I can guarantee you Silver V in as little as a week if you have a good sense of duo teamwork. Don't even need to do much, just help make duo plays and objectives. Eff the rest.

He's AP and tanky. He can jump to minions as well as champs. Usually, you're facing an AD on top. That means more armor and less MR. You can poke pretty well with Braum's Q. You just have to be careful of mana, like most AP tanks.

Braum will forever be best utilized as a tanky support. A hyper tanky support.

Like, the tankiest.

But I respect all cheese, because I've won ranked games with some pretty stupid stuff before.

Riot makes games harder for you when you duo. Two people can carry a game, and Riot realizes this by putting you and your duo buddy against better players.

And they don't make it harder per'se, they pair you against other duos. xD

TBH I've been getting frustrated with riot's balancing recently. They severely nerfed red smite and devourer just because of ww (although my main yi did way too well with red/devourer).

I've also recently become irritated with Riot's changes, but it has nothing to do with legitimate balance issues like Warwick/devourer (which had become rerelase Madred's, and no one wants that). My irritation comes from how they've used their patch notes for the last three patches to try to convince the playerbase that no one is feeling the loss of DFG.

Telling us what we should be thinking is not the same thing as being right. Riot's been very good about this so far. I can't remember the last time they tried to pull a stunt like this, but it annoys the crap out of me that they're doing it now, after removing an item that had become an inexorable part of the metagame. I'm sorry, Riot, but my opinion is my own choice. No matter how much you try to tell me what to believe, it isn't going to change.

It was actually a statistic fact though, a lot of people (especially the lower in MMR you go) either didn't use it as often or just didn't use it at all, with an increasing tendency to just buy it for the flat. I can attest to this as I was one of those people. I rarely ever actually got a kill with it because I'd use it to melt tanks out/peel, and get kills just fine without it.

Now that being said, their first knee-jerk reaction was to buff everything and anything that utilized DFG in it's core build. This was a huge disaster because all the mages like Ahri started solo carrying. 5.2 was the mother of all buffs and 5.3 was the mother of all nerfs. Then there were people like Syndra and Viegar, who got almost no love at all in either patch and almost seemed to rely on DFG post-patch, to the point where they reassessed Viegar's entire kit.

The bottom line is that they probably didn't think very deeply how the loss would affect the live community, not because of its removal but because of all the ridiculous, extreme changes they had to implement to make it feel like it wasn't such a heavy blow. And truthfully, it wasn't, but their contingency is what made it such poodoo. These things should have been live-balanced in the preseason instead of after it began.

PS: In love with the residual Sona buffs, barely even notice her mana regen nerf (they buffed its growth stat anyways). <3
