Overview
House Yakieer ~ Mistress of the Shadowcats
In the mining province of Garde Noire there has often been a unique plague that caused the people much strife over countless years. The people of the province had come to call them Shadow Cats, creatures dedicated to the Dark Side of the Force. These creatures, more commonly known in the galaxy as Maalraas were known for taking up residence within the cool mines, often harming the townsfolk who dared to attempt and drive them off. It was not until the freshly christened Sieur, Lady
Xobos Yakieer
turned her eyes to the mines and set forth to vanquish the beasts. The Lady strode into the mines with one hundred of her armored guard set upon her heels. The Shadowcats roared and clawed, until they were driven back into the depths of the Mine where the Lady challenged them. The Sieur of Garde Noire was met with the Alpha of the beasts who roared unlike any other and when the feline roared, the Sieur roared back. Her mighty roar was so imposing that every Shadowcat within the mine shrank back, bowing it's head in deference to the Lady. Even the greatest of the Shadowcats bowed their head in the end, accepting the Sieur of Garde Noire as her Alpha.
House Archam ~ The Book That Brought The Sunlight
House Archam's story begins with a book. The book that brought the sunlight. Before being inducted into the Nobility Lady Archam was a commoner, unable to read or write. However as a commoner without a Lord's education she masterfully penned a work that reached out and touched the heart of a King. With her friend another commoner known as Gabin, the young woman revealed a hideous plot set by an evil Lord of the now-defunct House Achille. Against her Lord's command Lady
Mahaut
stood true to the greatest tenets of Illyrian philosophy and continued to write her work, distributing it amongst a land that had been drowned in darkness for years. As the evil Baron prepared to punish those that were set against him, members of the King's Knighthood claimed his lands, bringing with them the King's justice. It was well known from one side of the province to the other that the Lady's work had brought the sunlight back into those lands.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
During the third year of his reign, King
Adron Malvern
made the decision to create a piece of literature to help cement the importance of Aristocracy in the planet's philosophy. By creating Le Livre Du Sang Supérieur he essentially made the lives of the nobility into folklore and heroism. The information provided on the tome was crafted in a way that would make the commoners envy the lives and privileges' of those above them. The book is complete with stories and fables surrounding many of the prominent and unique lords and ladies, with this also comes family trees, ancestral holdings and property, and the current Lord and Lady of the House.
