Developed in secret for Eternal Empire Special Forces (Though House Io members are not barred from purchase), The Laufey 21 is a type of 'Cryonic Disruptor' (Unlike normal Class D Disruptors, which completely disintegrate a target, Cryonic Disruptors are capable of freezing a victim past the sub atomic level, killing them in a horrifically painful manner AND preserving their body) and is illegal in nearly every corner of the Galaxy. Obviously Sword Herald left no identifying marks or serial numbers, even taking special care to make certain all materials are gathered from recycled resources that could come from anywhere.
Like all Class D Disruptors, the Jedi consider it an especially heinous weapon to resort to.
