Personal Strengths:

• Eidetic Memory and Hyperthymesia: Esis has demonstrated an incredible, nearly-perfect capacity to remember things since a very young age in life. The recollection of memories and details from her own life and her surroundings is inexplicably larger than those of an average sentient, given that her mind has neglected the ability to forget or supress thoughts. She has also been trained as a mnemonist, in order to help her organize the immense mass of recollections that resides inside her head.
• Well-educated: Her intelligence and analytic skills, combined with her memory, have allowed her to speed through the primary and secondary levels of education. She accessed higher education at a younger age and became renowned in her chosen field of work: xenobiology and xenozoology.
• Steel willed and cunning: Most of the time she is relaxed and easy going, leading people to mistake her for someone easily manipulated. Truth is, the young woman is extremely determined in her actions and decisions and can prove to be more cunning than some of the best out there.
• Force User: Esis is a skilled and fairly balanced Force-user. On top of this, she displays a particular gift for Force Sensing abilities.

​Zelosian Strengths:

• Fast response: Given the composition of most of a Zelosian's fiber, a nastic response is involved in most of Esis movements and reactions. This makes her a naturally fast being with some of the quickest reflexes there are to find.
• Photosynthesis: Though they still consume animal and plant produce, a Zelosian is capable of photosynthesis and it is estimated they can survive from an expanse up to 1 or 2 months with only sunlight and water for sustenance.
• Green thumb: Zelosians are attuned to plant life and are naturally skilled with their manipulation.
• Resistant to Alcohol: Zelosians are resistant to the noxious effects of alcohol and can consume it without risk.

Personal Weaknesses:

• Eidetic Memory and Hyperthymesia: Remembering everything is a double-edged sword. Though certainly useful, it must be highlighted that she cannot forget anything. Including the things she would rather forget. This makes her far more vulnerable to suffering from worse sequels after traumatic events, makes her prone to over analyzing past events and puts a constant stress on her mind. With notable frequency, Esis experiences serious migraines often accompanied by loss of direction and dizziness, due to the inability of her mind to constantly cope with the huge retention of information. In these moments, she is either forced to push through the pain or resort to meditation or the mnemonic exercises that help her cope.
• Overthinker: She has a special way of becoming fixated in things. Once a thought starts wandering her mind, she'll probably keep it floating around night and day until she feels she has seen it through. Normally, she is a skilled multitasker with simple, everyday things. However, matters that are important to her require all of her undivided attention, this can become a difficulty.
• Defiant: A trait that often surprises those who know her personally. Esis is usually described as a calm and rational woman who does not get in the face of obstacles or enemies she knows she cannot defeat. Yet surprisingly, if she is pushed into a certain position or provoked enough, Esis abandons her collected demeanor and shows a much more flammable side of her, one which will most certainly not back down, even if this becomes the best path to take.
• Detached: Esis is sociable and very kind to almost everyone around her. She easily connects with people and often understands them. However, if she realizes she is allowing someone to get close to her, she turn to withdraw into herself. This keeps her from fully bonding to people and causes her emotional pain.
• Pyrokinesis: For reasons she has yet to discover, Esis is unable to manipulate the elemental Force ability pertaining to fire and its derivates. It is believed this might have something to do with her nature as a plant-based species.
• Memory Rub: Esis' mind reacts terribly against the Force power known to erase/change memories. Her mind rejects the influence of the power violently, and should she fail to shield it from such an intrusion it can have seriously detrimental effects. (from loss of consciousness to far more severe consequences)

Zelosian Weaknesses:

• Night Blindness: Lachesis is completely blind when submerged into the darkness, since her eyes are not designed to work without proper lighting.
• Refined Sugars: Though alcohol is not intoxicating to a Zelosian, refined sugars have a comparable effect. It is estimated that a tablespoon of sugar would cause a similar effect to consuming four ounces of strong liquor in a human.

Lachesis Nas is a force user who developed a special affinity to Force Sensing abilities. This special trait allows her to learn and manipulate said powers with much more ease. However, responding to her increased sensing ability, she finds it more difficult to tap into the Force Alter powers, and can learn them but with much more difficulty. She inspired her chosen style and path in her late Master, Asha Seren, following in her steps and building a skill set akin to the one she had chosen for herself and taught to her during her younger years.

Pre-Roleplay History

Born into what she believed was a common family on Zelos II, Lachesis Nas saw the very first years of her life speed through in a blur of happiness and, according to all standards, normal life. She was a joyful kid, full of energy, with an impressive ability to memorize and a power of deduction and induction that far exceeded her young mind. Her life took a sharp turn the day her father, Alkinoos, suddenly disappeared, leaving her and her mother behind.

She was let down and full of questions. Her mother fell terribly ill soon after Alkinoos leaving and she was left lost. The new guidance in her life came in the form of a Je'daii Master, Asha Seren. Lachesis began an apprenticeship under Asha, who taught her the principles of the Force, the beliefs of the Je'daii Order and prepared her to, in the future, join her alongside the Je'daii. She was a diligent and eager student, in love with everything Asha had to teach her and with a deep respect and admiration for the woman.

However, in her teenage years Asha Seren passed away and Lachesis found herself falling once more into the feeling of misdirection she remembered so well from her childhood. Grief-stricken and having lost hope in her path, Lachesis deserted the Order which had watched her grow. In an inner turmoil of sadness and even some anger, Lachesis built a new false identity for herself: Esis Nas, a Corellian-born Human, and poured all of her efforts in pursuing her academical studies. She did harbor an endless fascination for the fields she chose, but in truth she was simply trying to remove herself completely from a past dream she thought had perished alongside the one to ignite it. Secretly, she kept on practicing and learning the ways of the Force, inspired in what Master Seren had been and had taught her.

Thanks to her preternatural memory and her intelligence, Esis was able to speed through her studies and graduate at a young age, proceeding to participate in extensive scientific research and made a name for herself among the academic community. She developed a love for teaching and became a Professor for a short while in various Universities. However, she could no longer ignore the feeling of longing and knowing that though she was fairly happy in this career, it was not the path she was meant to follow.

Now a grown up, having made her peace with the death of her Master and resolute to retake the dream she had as a younger person, Esis returned to the Je'daii Order with the intention of going through her journey and honoring the promise she had once made.
