PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Kylian Rydek is quiet and tends to keep people at a distance. Losing his master during Order 66 changed him, leaving him more cautious and distrustful than he used to be. He doesn't talk much about what happened, but it still weighs on him, especially when he thinks about the Jedi he lost. Even so, Kylian hasn't given up on what they stood for. He believes being a Jedi is about helping people and doing what's right, not blindly following an Order or its rules. He can be stubborn and sometimes acts without thinking when someone is in danger, but he has a good heart and finds it hard to walk away from someone who needs help. Kylian doesn't see himself as a hero, and he's not sure he even wants to be a Jedi anymore. He just knows that he doesn't want his master's death, or the fall of the Jedi, to mean nothing.

HISTORY
Kylian Rydek was born on Subterrel, but he never knew his father, who disappeared from his life when he was very young. His mother was killed in childbirth, and he was taken under care by a restaurant owner until he was 1 year old. After Kylian was discovered to be Force-sensitive, he was taken to the Jedi Temple by clones who were stationed on Subterrel and raised as a Jedi youngling. He was eventually chosen as a Padawan by Kegon Mi-Banok, a Cerean Jedi who became both his master and the closest thing Kylian had to a father. Kegon taught him patience, discipline, and compassion, shaping much of the person Kylian would become. They led the 218th Battalion together with the help of Clone Captain Storm. A few years later, Order 66 brought their training to a brutal end. Kegon was killed by Darth Vader upon their short return to Coruscant, while Kylian barely managed to escape. At twenty-two, Kylian now lives in hiding, carrying his master's teachings with him while trying to survive in a galaxy where the Jedi are nearly gone.
