[PERSONALITY & TRAITS]

Kyle is a soldier at heart, dedicated to their duty and often prioritised the completion of the mission over their own wellbeing although not any who might count themselves among Kyle's companions taking an effort to ensure lives are not unnecessarily wasted or placed in danger. A solitary and secretive individual Kyle keeps their emotions tactfully concealed behind stoicism and self-discipline that has been honed across years of military life within First Imperial society, this guarded and distant behaviour is noticeable even amongst their closest confidants. Over the years Kyle has developed a disdain for their position as a soldier viewing their prior actions while serving within the First Imperial military as bordering on the criminal and dishonourable, this view has been given birth since being away from their home of Dosuun. Due to Kyle's augmentations under Project: AFTERLIFE they are prone to losing their temper and short bursts of body-shaking anger, strangers often perceive them as outspoken, standoffish and rude. Kyle's sense of humour is quite dark typical of emergency service and military personnel, though Kyle will not outwardly admit it readily they feel responsible for the deaths of their allies in combat situations and thus attempts to prevent caring about their lives which contributes to their rude dismissive disposition. Empathy and Sympathy isn't beyond Kyle and they will outwardly exhibit these emotions in the company of those who they are comfortable, compliments centred around their sense of honour and duty endears Kyle greatly and is a sure way to get the weary soldier to relax on an interpersonal level even if they are ostensibly dismissive of such flattery.

[APPEARANCE]

Kyle Weir is a taller than an average Human individual as a result of their surgical and chemical augmentations standing at approximately six and a half feet tall or around one-hundred and ninety-six centimeters tall, given his ubiquitous Advanced Combat Powersuit he truly stands a couple inches higher. Their face is seldom ever seen although they do possess an aquiline nose sitting above a full pair of lips set into a rounded and broad jaw with a pair of clear hazel eyes set in almond-shaped sockets, these sockets are staddled by thin well-groomed arched eyebrows. Kyle's physique and figure could be described as slender albeit robust with a graceful overwhelming strength that far exceeds that suggested by his physical size, this makes it rather easy to blend into a crowd ipso facto although his bones have been wrapped in a Stygian-Triprismatic Polymer and thus they are difficult to clearly examine with basic scanners and this often arouses suspicion. Kyle usually dismisses concerns raised about their skeleton by claiming they suffered from a development disorder that required polymer bonding for corrective growth. Kyle's dark brown hair is often kept neat and cut short to jaw length to prevent interfering with the function and wearing of their helmet.

Strengths
  • Beyond Human: Kyle isn't any ordinary Human, they are a biologically engineered killing machine created in the labs beneath Mephout within the Dead City's Graush Blacksite and capable of incredible physical feats with a reaction time so short it appears almost clairvoyant to observers, the resilience to defy what would be considered crippling or mortal injury and endurance necessary to cross several kilometers of terrain at sustained running speeds in excess of fifty-five kilometers per hour. Kyle is incredibly dangerous and can stand on equal or favorable terms in melee combat with the likes of Jedi Knights.
  • Expert Marksman: Once in years past Kyle counted themselves among the finest marksmen within the First Imperial Military, such is their skill that Kyle does not require a spotter, rangefinder or wind speed & direction digital assistance to land repeated precise shots. A persistent rumour about the Mercenary is that they never miss a shot and it's only partially true, their shots only fail to land when such failure is designed by Kyle or shifted by some divine providence.
  • Machinist: Prior to becoming a Candidate under Project: AFTERLIFE, Kyle was a professionally trained machinist and mechanic capable of repairing and maintaining all manner of equipment ranging from weapons, armour to vehicles. In this regard they are an asset to have on any team or crew as they are fully capable of rendering valuable support services outside of combat operations.
Weaknesses
  • Distinct Force Presence: Their presence in the force is quite distinct as a result of their augmentations burning brightly in an unpleasant artificial nature through the cosmic and living force, the talented and skilled can identify Kyle as being significantly different from Baseline Humans even without witnessing their incredible physical feats. In addition, those with exposure to the presence of First Imperial Death Troopers might find Kyle's presence eerily similar to those odious power-armoured warriors potentially raising the suspicion of their former enemies turned ally.
  • Psychosis: Resultant from their combined psychological trauma augmentations and post-traumatic stress disorder, Kyle suffers constantly with symptoms of both Psychosis and Schizophrenia often experiences hallucinations and communicates with disembodied individuals created from their mind. In an attempt to address these issues Kyle carries a reliable supply of medication although if denied these Kyle should descend into a barely Human monster.
  • Pyrophobia: Possessed of a strong disdain and fear for fire Kyle becomes agigated and frightened in equal measure when encountering flames, and if used against them can be used as a method of controlling their movements in a combat situation as even if their armour is proofed against ignition Kyle tends to avoid them anyway frightened by physical contact and the thought of burning.
  • Vulnerable Mind: Kyle suffers with the Psychological side-effects brought on by their augmentations under Project: AFTERLIFE and can be manipulated through the application of abilities used by force wielders to target an individual's consciousness such as Mind Trick or even its' dark side counterpart Dominate Mind. While their mind is more difficult to dominate than fool it is distinctly possible.
