  • Name: Kullasexriak
  • Designation: semi sentient
  • Origins: unknown
  • Average Lifespan: 35 years
  • Estimated Population: interplanetery
  • Description: small viscose semi insect like.the Kullasexriak is a Crustacean like rodent.
it has 4 small arms one set possessing a thumb the inner set appear to be primarily used for grasping and clinging while carrying food,
it possesses a prehensile tail used for climbing.
despite appearances the Kullasexriak has 6 eyes all hidden under its skull and coated with a clear membrane.
it posses elongated skull witch encases a two small brains.

the egg is corkscrew shapes as to allow it to be anchored to the ground.

its Spore has a tiny Shellac coating and two tendrils it uses to hold into the stomach of its host.

Its Young larval stage is Worm like and around half a meter long and snake like.
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Breathes: type 1 can survive hostile toxic environments
  • Average Height of Adults: 0.5 meters
  • Average Length of Adults: 0.9 meters
  • Skin color: mostly brown but tends to adapt color wise to environments grey in rocks green in jungle white in tundra
  • Hair color: none
  • Distinctions: has 4 forms
  • 1 its spore
  • 2 its tapeworm larvae
  • 3 its adult form
  • 4 its cork screw egg
  • Races: none
  • Force Sensitivity: Rare
Strengths:
  • decent / controlled population.semi
  • decent intelligence
  • resistance to poisons.
  • highly adaptive to environment
Weaknesses:
  • is viewed as a pest.
  • Are susceptible to temperature changes. any thing near 8'c or over 67'c degrees will cause them to freeze or over heat.
  • Despite there Poison resistance they are susceptible to weedkillers. it is hypothesized they may have plant dna.
  • the creature are highly curios making them easy to trap and capture.
  • the Kullasexriak can't process fatty acids and Dairy products. these tend to cause them gastrointestinal distress as dose Chocolate
or more exactly Theobromine that is toxic to them.
  • highly susceptible to mind control.
CULTURE
  • Diet: Omnivore.
  • Communication: clicks whistles limited telepathy
  • Technology level: none can use primitive tools
  • Religion/Beliefs: none
  • General behavior:
  • can use basic problem solving skills. the Kullasexriak is a rodent of sorts.
    and a parasite.
  • it lays eggs in soil that cocoon and release a single spore that is inhaled the spore grows in an animal's stomach then bursts from the creatures stomach.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
A semi Vongformed former rodent the Kullasexriak is seen as both a nuisance and a threat they are often hounded to death and killed on site.
The Vong unintentionally created the Kullasexriak as it was originally a food source similar to a chicken and a form of waste management with it acting as a carrion eater. until it cross bread with an as yet unknown second species.
After attempts to exterminate the species proved fruitless it has simply become an ugly common site.

The creatures are often seen routing around in trash and seen in sewers.
while it is in fact a Crustacean it is a land dweller strangely it only lays one egg over its lifetime

the egg is screw shape and used laid in the ground like a seed the egg draws nutrients from the soil and hatches once a temperature requirement is met. otherwise it simply remains in a form of stasis.
upon hatching it releases 8 spores.

this spore is inhaled by a creature any creature and the spore grows in to a tape worm like parasite where it feeds on the hosts food undetected. it will live in the hosts stomach until it matured into a larval stage

where it emerges from the hosts bellybutton. and sheds to it's full size.

There are a lot of spelling and grammatical things that need fixing in your submission.

As I am aware of your present condition after surgery, I would be happy to go through and fix them for you. Do you mind?

Homeworld: unknown is found in many outer rim worlds.

Fix the bolded formatting in these areas.

app on hatching it releases a single spore.
App? I'm not sure what word you mean here but let's get the right one in there.

Diet: Eats rotten meat, and id resistant to most poisons due to exposure.
"id" should be "is."

Also, this resistance to poisons should be added to the creature's strengths. In response to this I will need you to create another weakness for them.

More questions:

In the history you describe it as being a vongformed creature. Who created it and why? What was the purpose of this pest as it does not seem to serve one. Vong are known for giving their creations a reason for existing.

When it is growing in the stomach and "feeding" is it feeding upon the contents of the stomach (the host's own food) or is it feeding on the organs of the host itself?

I don't think you understand how Weaknesses work.

is viewed as a pest.
complex breeding structure.
Extremely aggressive the Kullsaexriak would rather fight larger creatures than run.
they have almost no sense of self-preservation and will attack deadly opponents even if massive numbers are killed.
they also exhibit cannibalistic tendencies eating there own young and dead.
The first in green is not a weakness, it's an opinion of its subjective environment.
The second in yellow is not a weakness, it's a description of their biology.
The two in red are both strengths acting as weaknesses and really belong in the behavior section.
The last in orange is yet another description of their behavior.

I need weaknesses that are inherent in the physiology of the creature. Things that can make them sick or kill them that effects them across the entire species and not just on a situational basis. Maybe they can't swim. Maybe they cannot survive extreme temperatures such as cold and heat. Maybe fire is lethal to them. Maybe they are suseptible to common pesticides.

Rework all your weaknesses please.

This is much better.

Weaknesses: is viewed as a pest.
Are susceptible to temperature changes. any thing near 8'c or over 67'c degrees will cause them to freeze or over heat.

the Kullasexriak can't process
However this last sentence is unfinished.

Greetings! This is a pretty interesting species, but, I'm going have to ask you to convert the format to the current Species Template. If any of the fields do not apply to the submission simply note "N/A" beside the field. You can add as many fields as needed but you can't remove any. Please ensure that the information is also in the correct section. [Ex. Intent belongs at the top.]

You're also going to need to provide proper image credit for all of the pictures that are listed in the submission.

I'm going to leave this in Pre-Codex so that you can make the updates at your leisure. Please tag a member of the Codex Staff if you need help, or, if you're ready for it to be moved back to live judging. Thank you!
