Out of Character Information
General Information
  • Name: Kragien Dregs
  • Designation: Sentient
  • Homeworld: Bastion
  • Language: A hoarse dialect of the common tongue.
  • Average Lifespan: Thirty Years
  • Estimated Population: Scattered (Throughout Sith Empire space).
  • Description: A mutilated human whose head and arms have been mutated to resemble that of a crow. Their body is dreadfully scrawny and malnourished, with their bones emerging from underneath their skin. The flesh around the head is raw and constantly irritated, and a light fur has covered what remains of their body, and they are covered in scars from where they've cut themselves.

Physical Information
  • Breathes: Type l
  • Average height of adults: 1.8 meters
  • Average length: 0.5 meters
  • Skin Color: Varies
  • Hair color: Black
  • Distinctions: A creature that is half-human, half-crow. Their head has been replaced with that of a large crow, and their arms have been elongated and covered in feathers. Underneath these feathers are claws as sharp as knives with the shape of a fish hook. Part of their arms and shoulder have been fused together to form a crude wing shape, which is barely effective in achieving flight.
  • Races: N/A
  • Strengths:
  1. Their claws and beak are incredibly deadly, capable of piercing through skin and lighter armor with ease.
  2. Despite their gaunt frame, they are surprisingly agile.
  3. As a Sithspawn they are easily controlled and absolutely obedient to whomever their overlord is, following every command with unwavering loyalty. Even when not under the influence of a Sith they are extremely docile, aimlessly wandering around the prison camps they are held in.
  • Weaknesses:
  1. The Sith give no armor to the Dregs if they send them into battle, and because of this when sent into battle they can be easily struck down. They are used as fodder more than anything else, and serve as an example of what fate might become of those who cross the Sith Empire.
  2. Although they maintain some memories of who they were prior to being transformed, their minds are completely broken. Unless ordered to they will almost never do anything on their own, instead wallowing around in self-pity, questioning why such a horrible fate was given to them.
  3. As a Sithspawn they are vulnerable to the Light Side of the Force, and being attacked by it could cause them to lose the telepathic connection shared with their master or be killed.
  4. Their wings are only capable of lifting them a few meters above the ground, and only for short amounts of time.
Culture
  • Diet: The Kragien Dregs are fed scraps of food and garbage by their Sith rulers. While they can eat just about anything they could while human, their entire diet consists of rotten meat. If desperate enough they might pick at the carcasses of their deceased comrades.
  • Communication: They are able to communicate with the common tongue, although their voice is very grating and difficult to understand. The Dregs rarely communicate with anyone because of how shattered their minds are. They often make unintelligible gargling noises when attacking, or just while meandering around.
  • Technology Level: The Dregs are an imprisoned species and have not developed into separate societies, and have no technology to speak of.
  • Religion/Beliefs: The Dregs lose whatever religion or values they had whilst human, their minds to far gone to ponder of such thoughts.
  • General Behavior: They are kept in Sith prison yards, with only a small number of guards watching them since they pose no threat of escape. Some walk around miserably all day long, others lay down and don't move for days at a time unless stirred. They've lost the ability to process advanced thoughts, but they know that they were once human and that something horrible as been done to them and that they've lost their humanity. While lumbering around their mind is either filled with nothing, or thoughts of their own despair.
History

As the territory of the Sith Empire expands, so too grows the number of captured criminals and enemies of the Empire. Something had to be done to show the galaxy what would happen to those who crossed the Sith, and Lark took it upon himself to demonstrate what would be done to their enemies. Death was to merciful an end for such people, Lark wanted to ensure that the allies of those captured saw what would be done to them, what little humanity remained of their friends, and that fear would cause them to abandon their futile efforts against the Empire.

With permission from Lord Krest, Lark obtained a number of criminals, as well as captured officials and soldiers from organizations that once opposed them. Before he even began the crude process of transformation he tortured them, breaking their minds and will before the worst part had even started.

Once he deemed them sufficiently broken, the horrid alteration would begin. Taking influence from his previous Sithspawn and his perverse fascination with birds, he mutated his subject's head to resemble a large crow, although the butchering was so severe that rashes and scars appeared around the creature's neck and shoulders. Next up were the arms, which Lark extended and covered with matted, black feathers. He fused parts of the shoulder and arms to create a wing-shape that would allow for flight, but even with the gaunt form the Dregs proved to heavy to achieve anything more than momentary flight.

Alright, I think it's ready to be moved! [member="Valiens Nantaris"]

So just a few things to take of really:
  1. How are they able to breathe a Type II atmosphere, limited as it is?
  2. Their agility should be its own strength, not lumped into the first one

I honestly can't remember what I was thinking when I put they can breath limited Type ll atmosphere, so I just removed it. I also added in agility as it's own strength!

The wording here feels awkward and makes it seem like armor aren't wasted on them, when in fact armor are wasted on them.

Beyond that, this all looks pretty good to me. Once edits are made I will stamp this for approval. :)
Edited!
