• Alchemy effect: Boots increase the speed and strength by a modest amount.
• Boots are extremely durable and will provide protection against wear/tear as well as server as a barrier of protection against predator bites (the stronger the predator's jaw, the less protection is offered).
• Ultrachrome reflects blaster and slugthrower weaponry, was heavily resistant to lightsaber attacks, and is immune to metal-eating fungi.
• Friction grip avoids slippage.
• Waterproof.

• Boots reach just below the knees, so kneecap protection requires additional gear.
• Boots are completely useless against Sonic and EMP/Ion attacks.
• Boots are heavy and this may affect the wearer during prolonged missions.
• All Force effects are nulled in the presence of Yslamir bubbles, void stones, etc.
• Despite the soles' protection against extremely hot/cold surfaces, the boots themselves provide very little protection against the elements.

Executor | The Blade - Though the theaters may be diverse, the battlefield is home to the Executor. As information is tirelessly collected about the stars, there must always be readiness. Always be a response. As threats are revealed, Executors keen their weapons. As fighting begins, Executors lead the charge. Such is their role: Vanguard, Commander - and above all, Warrior.

With the addition of various weapons and items to the general armor, the time has come for the Confederacy of Independent Systems to add to the armory of the Knights Obsidian. The Executor Boots are the latest piece of armor produced by the Archivists of the Knights Obsidian, incorporating special knowledge that they have gained by researching the existence of various special and unique items around the galaxy.

These boots were created with the Executors in mind and designed to serve the purpose of giving the KO Warriors the extra speed and strength that could mean the difference between life and death during missions. The boots are made of ultracrome to ensure they are strong and sturdy, with the soles being coated to ensure protection against both hot and cold surfaces. Friction Grip was added to the soles as well, to make sure the Executors would have no issues when needing to deal with missions that involve slippery surfaces.

Much research had been put into making the boots as protective as possible, while keeping in mind that mobility cannot be entirely compromised as the Executors fulfil a combative role. Getting any part of your body kicked by someone wearing these boots puts you in danger of broken bones and newly missing teeth.

Last but not least, a care was put into the boots in terms of their appearance, keeping them stylish to match the various different armors available within the CIS and the KO armories, as well as being able to match them with incognito outfits with ease. Different colors of these boots exist, but the color conveys noting except aesthetic preference.

[member="Scherezade deWinter"], I am not sure if you forgot this weakness, but Ultrachrome has a small weakness to energy weaponry when exposed for long periods of time, it would melt. So constant contact with a lightsaber would be a good example of being able to melt the metal plates.
