STRENGTHS, WEAKNESSES & TRAITS :
  • Former Admiral - Kizar had once held the rank of Rear Admiral in the One Sith Navy. Despite his career being uneventful he is well versed in Naval tactics and various types of warfare. Any would be pirate would be foolish to attempt to raid Orkins Industries unless they seek a war they cannot win.
  • Executive - Kizar is businessman and CEO of Orkins Industries. With this he holds a fair amount of influence, power and wealth all of which is at his disposal should he believe he needs to use any of it.
  • Engineer - Having served in the Naval engineers and being head of a shipyard has left Kizar technologically adept, having a hand in the designing of major products of Orkins Industries
  • Hesitant - Years of service to the One Sith has left war distasteful to him. He is hesitant to leap to action, always hoping a peaceful solution, even if one is not possible. Despite this he still understands the need of blasters, star destroyers and detonators. He simply wishes they would not be used as often.
  • Blasters? - Kizar is useless with most blasters. Having the most experience with blaster pistols his skills are considered sub par at best. Any experienced, soldier, thug or mercenary would be able to win against Kizar in a blaster fight if they caught him without his protective details.
  • Imperial Loyalties - A combination of Imperial heritage and long service to an Imperial faction has imbedded Kizar with a loyalty to the idea of the Empire and the many factions it has now splintered into.
  • Protective - Kizar is incredibly protective of his family business, willing to stop at nothing to protect his assets and employees from harm. He views his creation as the legacy of his forefathers and values the lives of each employee under his control.

EQUIPMENT AND APPAREL:
Kizar is almost always wearing his uniform, whether he is in a board meeting or aboard the bridge of a star destroyer. On it, he wears his old rank plaque back from his days of service within the One Sith. Anyone with a keen eye would be able to spot that Kizar once held the rank of rear-admiral in the now collapsed empire. Kizar is also seen with a briefcase, within it is a datapad and an assortment of other files and equipment he uses on a day to day basis. Despite Kizar's poor aim he almost always carries a concealed DD12 Blaster Pistol for personal protection.

BIOGRAPHY:
TLDR: Born to a family which had served the Empire since before the Battle of Yavin Kizar was instilled with Imperial values from a young age, eventually joining the One Sith and rising to Rear Admiral in an unremarkable and quiet career. Once the One Sith collapsed he took over Orkins Industries and revolutionised it by moving all assets onto a mobile shipyard.

Detailed: Kizar Orkins was born on Corellia to a privileged life. His father, Diran Orkins was a retired Imperial officer who was now the head of Orkins Industries, just like the rest of Kizar's predecessors who followed the exact same lifestyle. Kizar's mother had also come from a good background, being the daughter of a foreman from one of Corellia's larger shipyards. His heritage and background would have a large impact on Kizar and from a young age he was instilled with the ideologiees of the Empire. He was told stories of his ancestors, notably Ledre Orkins who decimated Rebels at the Vergesso Astroid assault and how each Orkins from every generation had attempted to live up to the service of Ledre Orkins.

As soon as Kizar was old enough he was pressured to enroll into on of the countless Imperial academies of the major Imperial power of that time, the One Sith Empire. Kizar graduated into the One Sith Navy as a Naval Engineer and slowly but surely he climbed the ranks of the faction. However his preference towards peaceful solutions and lack of drive left his career mostly uneventful. He was often posted to rear guard duties and was stationed at far flung corners of the One SIth, away from the majority of the fighting. Dealing with pirates, smugglers and settling interplanetary disputes diplomatically became the life of Kizar. Eventually he was promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral, leaving the engineers behind but with little connections and a staunch view on diplomatic solutions he remained in the far corners of the Empire right up until its collapse. The collapse was violent, infighting and rebellions were at the forefront of his actions and many bloody battles were fought. The fighting came to an end for Kizar when his fleet was decimated with Okins taking multiple injuries during the battle after his ship collided into another Star Destroyer. He is still mentally scarred from the ordeal.

With his career essentially over the former Rear Admiral returned to Corellia, visiting his father who was now on his death bed. It was in those last few moments did Diran Orkins pass off leadership of Orkins Industry to his son, in the same manner as Diran's father. And with that Kizar now headed the family business. He felt pressure to make up for his uneventful career and its disastrous end by pushing Orkins Industries forwards to the forefront of industry. Kizar pushed forward a new initiative, one that would result in Orkins Industries becoming far more efficient. He planned and began construction of the Vergasso-Class Mobile Factory, the biggest product Orkins Industry would ever complete. Orkins stopped all other projects pushing them behind the rat race which each company competed in. It was years later in 860 ABY that the Vergesso was ready. Years of hard work was finally complete. As soon as it was launched Kizar sold most of the companies factories on Corellia and instead the furnaces and forges of the Vergesso began churning out products at a faster rate than any planet bound factory Orkins Industries had been in possession off. Confident his company was ready to take to the galactic stage once more Orkins Industries has begun churning out products to be sold to the galaxy.
