STRENGTHS

• High Defence - Like any strong star destroyer the Palatine has a high defence with heavy shielding, allowing it to engage in capital ship slugfests as well as fending off swarms of fighter.
• Heavy Weapons - The ship is outfitted heavily with a multitude of turbolasers, torpedo tubes and missile batteries, making it a force to reckon with. This makes the ship able to stand up to numerically superior forces and/or larger ships.

WEAKNESSES

• Low Speed and Maneuverability - The ships heavy weapons and shieldings come with a drawback, causing the ship to be quite slow forcing it to rely on its weaponry to challenge escaping or out of range enemies
• Exposed bridge - One major drawback of the ship is the exposed bridge which sticks out on a tower like structure. This makes it an obvious target for enemy ships and should the Destroyer's shields go down the bridge becomes the most vulnerable part of the ship.

DESCRIPTION
Taking after Okins Industries' neo-Imperial ship designs, the Palatine-Class Star Destroyer is a heavily armed and well shielded destroyer, designed to act as a ship capable of being integrated into a fleet or operating on its own. The ships comes equipped with heavy weaponry from turbolasers to missile batteries, making it able to fend off a plethora of enemy ships while being able to deploy its own starfighters and drop ships to combat enemy forces or commence planetary/ship to ship assaults. Due to its high flexibility, this makes the ship an ideal addition to any fleet, whether it serves as the flagship or a main combat ship.
