Killteam (Dominion, Chiloon and Irn, Round 2)

Enzo turned his wild grin to the child first "Yes, very astute of you Cairyn," He spoke as the kid swung his legs back and forth. Enzo raised a hand and green smokey tendrils began to seep from his palms. "Let's make things messy Xiar," Enzo said then the tendrils began to float towards the ground. The dirt seemed to absorb the smoke with ease and Enzo's wicked grin grew. Slowly, more and more of the smoke seeped from his hand until a sizable proportion of the field was covered in the mist. That's when something peculiar began to happen. The earth moved in several places. Enzo watched with glee as a nearby mound trembled and shook. Shortly afterwards a hand shot out of the earth. It clawed at the ground around it till it gained purchase then began to pull itself upwards, revealing a torso with no head. Slowly the body emerged from the ground along with the rest of the undead. As the last of the zombies stood Enzo walked forward. "Go. kill the primeval," He spoke, all though it was barely a whisper. He looked to his comrades and gave them both a big toothy grin
"Top that," He said jovially.

"I don't know what that means," the Teevan announced, a song in his voice. He watched with little interest as the undead rose. Part of him wanted to learn that little trick, introduce even more mayhem to the party. With that also came this dismay of knowing the more undead on their side meant the less people for him to play with. Furthering his stretching, balancing on one foot and pulling the other leg up close to his head, he gave a little huff. "Yeah, yeah, yay, we have more people on our side. Can we play now?"

Xiarr quickly find the other darksider to be more annoying than disturbing, he acted like a small child, and he wondered why they selected him of all people to go on a mission to save an entire village from the Primeval. But then something even more out of the blue happened, undead. Enzo seemed to summon an army of the undead and ordered them to march on the Primeval. Xiarr had no idea how this would turn out for the villagers, but he imagined it was efficient enough. "Well, I suppose that also works..."

Enzo watched as the undead began to shamble towards the village boredly. The Primeval sent out the first of its warriors to face the new foe, but enzo knew they stood no chance. They fired lasers at the monsters, but the zeds simply shrugged the hits off. Then Enzo began to will the dead to move faster. They started with a drunken walk which soon broke out into a sporadic run. The zombies closed the ground to the primeval troops in seconds and began to overtake the poor soul with sheer numbers. Their screams could be heard from the top of the hill where the the trio stood. Enzo placed a hand to his hip and smiled. He could smell blood on the wind. "I'm hungry, let's go play Cairyn!," He shouted happily and began to run after the undead "You coming Xiarr?" Enzo said with a wave to his comrades.

Switching legs, he felt his joints pop into their places before he introduced both his feet the ground. Jittery with excitement, the child was almost vibrating in his place. His lightsaber snapped to his hand, ready for use despite his lack of formal instruction. This would be the place to get some experience, right? "About time. Yahoo!" He lunged forward, keeping close to Enzo for the moment, ready to spill as much blood as he'd be allowed. Surely, fun was in today's agenda.

[member="Enzo Carpathia"] | [member="Xiarr Sair"]

Xiarr watched as the undead shambled toward the village, destroying any Primeval that crossed its path. The undead somehow managed to shrug off every hit it took and dealt it back to the Primeval. They were efficient, but they were immoral as well. Necromancy had always disturbed Xiarr, the same went with most dark side oriented abilities. Xiarr sighed and nodded his head at the destruction, but this was child's play compared to other events he had witnessed. "Right behind you then."

"Now, let's try communicating with Anya Loma with means other than the Force: then and only then can we know for sure whether to try for the long-range communications tests"

"What do you mean, communicate with her using non-Force means?"

"Whereas I can use the Force, you can't"

For a bit these technicians were working tirelessly to get the communications array repaired from the damage sustained in battle, in which Jessica held the main command. Even though Jessica could very easily sense [member="Anya Loma"]'s presence in the city, and even communicate with her using the Force, the other technicians were not. The skeptical technician was the one that opened a channel to Anya once the repairs to the communications array atop the city hall were completed. Now that the communications array was repaired, it was time to ensure that it worked properly or it would do no good for Irnfall's residents. She could also sense the unrest going on around here, and hopefully everything will be alright once the news of the planetary leadership arrives. For now anyway, the technicians return to the Neimoidian Yacht with their broomsticks still on.

There was nothing like civil unrest to hide actions you didn't want seen.

Natasha was one of many who walked the streets today, and one of the few who were quiet. There would be very little attention paid to the back streets and alleys today. The police, and the Dominion, had work elsewhere. With riots this big, we could do almost anything here. The AI quipped, his voice ringing in her brain. The woman nodded as she stepped from the crowd into an abandoned store. No looters yet, but that didn't mean they'd stay away for long. She'd need to get through fast, before a civilian or police officer saw her in here. She stepped through the isles, trying to get to the back before coming face to face with a man in uniform. The AI gave her a quick summary before her even spoke.

Atrisian Guard, stun baton, pistol. Dominion trooper sent to quell the chaos.

His voice was level. "Leave. This is a restricted area."

She shook her head. "DSB special agent Mara Giik'la. Here on official business." The man was confused, but as she handed him identification, he nodded. She moved to pass him, stepping into the back of the shop.

She had work to do.

"This isn't good... this is where I will need to use my magic to at least do something about the dangers lurking around in the city" she commed to the technicians who made the diagnosis checks.

While Jessica took to her broomstick once again, she realizes there is no shortage of potential areas where angry rioters could simply be tempted to throw rocks or other implements like Molotov cocktails. Once she locates a pocket of rampaging rioters, she then proceeds to aim for the rioters' cerebellums in the Force so as to freeze them in place by freezing their cerebellums, causing some to remain stunned in place, and other rioters start tripping over the bodies of those who were intent on throwing Molotov cocktails, causing them to get hurt in the process. Maybe their injuries were saving other people from getting injured or worse, killed; either way, that use of Force-stasis on the pocket of rioters made the rest of the rioters disperse, and perhaps get a few more of them hurt, injured even, and unable to riot any further. Perhaps targeted uses of Force-stasis would go a long way towards getting the riots back to normal, she thought, while flying towards the nearest of those at-risk pockets of rioters, from her position, across the devastated cityscape of Irnfall.

"I would certainly hope not. Otherwise I've made a terrible choice in putting my faith in you," Darius pointed out, though there was a hint of good humor to his words. He waved Adron on as they approached the dueling chambers, the doors hissing open to their coming.

"I'll test your mettle and you'll test mine. We'll see if this training you've received is worth the boasting," the Voidwalker offered Adron an amused little grin as the doors would slide shut behind them. The effects of the nexus were dulled here, though its presence was still palpable at the back of the mind.

Darius' weapon hissed as two emerald blades came to life on either end of the staff.

"Come on then, Viscount."

A brisk moment of silence came over the two as they entered the dueling chambers. The Count could not help but chuckle at the thought of a good challenge, which he guessed this Voidwalker would likely be.

The man slowly made his way towards the end of the dueling circle, his boots offering a soft echo as they impacted the pristine floor.

"Do not underestimate me, that will be your downfall." He rolled his lightsaber over in his hand before finally running his thumb over the activation pad. A vibrant hiss erupted from the weapon as the emitter gave life to the purple blade. A soft exhale could be heard coming from the man as he flourished his blade in front of him, the emitter's low hum giving off a slight pulse as it moved.

"Very well. Let us begin." He said, bringing his lightsaber up, the tip pointed towards his opponent.

Careful tread carried Natasha to a simple business computer. Normally, the level of intrusiveness she was preforming would be frowned upon, even by the Dominion and the DSB. But right now, they didn't have time for niceties. With the state in the way it was, some lines had to be crossed. And it was her job to cross them. Quietly, she plugged a simple-looking memory drive into the computer. A few seconds passed, and lines of text flashed across the screen as programs executed, faster than she could track. "I hope you're tracking this." she whispered, letting the AI process what was going on. He chirped a conformation, engorged in his work.

And then it hit.

Her joints locked up, nothing responding to her commands. panic set in, and she glanced around. She needed to move, needed to see.

Natasha. Calm down. It'll wear off in a second. The AI tried to talk her down. He didn't know that. It could be permanent. Or she could be killed before it wore off.

And then, just as quick as it had come, it was gone. She relaxed, eyes focusing on the screen. "Do we have enough?"

Plenty.

With the stunned rioters dispersing near the city hall, that is, near Anya and Natasha, she was able to effectively limit the damage they caused in that sector of the city, and she realized that there was another sector of the city where there was rioting, this time much closer to the spaceport. Which meant flying on the broomstick away from Natasha, on the lookout for another pocket of rioters. That was a sizeable pocket, and more computational power was going to be eaten up the more cerebellums she needed to pinch using Force-stasis. Yet at that stage, the mere flight of a witch on a broomstick, that is, herself, was going to help: she needed to use her Force-stasis spell once again. Jessica did just that, casting multiple Force-stasis spells, being able to pinpoint exactly whose cerebellums to freeze among the rioters at the cost of extra computational power expenditure: unlike most practitioners of Force-stasis, for whom it was more akin to detonating explosives, in her case it was more like firing a cluster of small-caliber guided missiles. And still, while her computational power usage was at the higher end of what she considered normal to use, she had no real headaches from casting the spell.

The lift fell its way down to the end of the station, crashing on the floor of the reactor core. The droids had destroyed the support systems for the lift and sent it plummeting to the bottom of the shaft. Miles stirred back to consciousness within the pile of bodies that were his allies. His HUD was cracked down the middle, distorting but still showing vitals for the team. He drug himself out of the wreckage, into the corridor.

Slowly pulling himself to his feet, Miles walked to the door to the Reactor Core and peered in. There were a few engineer droids maintaining the reactor as well as a small squad of battle droids. Obviously sent here after the alarms sounded, they would be on guard for sure. Miles didn't have much time, but he needed to pull the squad from the wreckage and get them to an escape pod. One by one he drug each man from the lift to a nearby pod. It wasn't meant for more than two or three people without armor, not to mention four fully armored warriors. Taking as much time as he could to get them in "comfortably", he jettisoned the pod. The beacon onboard should make them easy to find. Hopefully the Dominion fleet would see it.

Turning his attention back to the reactor, Miles looked at what he had left. His sidearm and the Butcher, his Phrik vibroaxe. He'd lost his rifle in the fall. Popping the door ajar ever so slightly , enough to get the barrel of his pistol in first, Miles took a deep breath and thrust open the door, plugging a couple bolts into the first battle droid... so it would begin, his final push to secure the Reactor or die blowing it to hell...

The rioters across the spaceport premises were frozen in place, as if Bothan spores spread across the place, and nearly all rioting activities ceased in that area, allowing any supplies used for relieving the local population to safely land and operate without any rioter interference. Hopefully the rioters would disperse after being stunned, once the spells wear off. Using a bit more computational power would likely cause her headaches to come into the dangerous territory: even though she was used to using large amounts of computational power at once, she feels like it was a close call, and would rather not intervene elsewhere in the city until other crowd control instruments have been used up by the local police first. That, knowing that her computational power was an essential ingredient to make any successful use of the Force, and hence keeps a close watch on it. Satisfied with the work done thus far out in Irnfall, she was left wonfering whether she would have the time to get her brain to cool down before another pocket of rioters would be detected. so she was content overseeing the unloading of the supplies.
