"Well." She looked at him. "The problem is more trying to find a way to co-exist. It isn't everyday a species from before anything returns who can melt faces but also has the best excuse for being evil. No one knows really if they are lying, telling the truth or something else when it comes to their history. They could have been a powerful species that destroyed worlds on a whim they could also have come later and just attached themselves to the legend using it to gain infamy, they could be completely crazy but trying to read two minds in the same body can be complicated if they try and switch. Right now we are trying to reconstruct the city while also dealing with the Miner's guild and their conditions. Supply and emand as they call it since some how their major competitors were destroyed on the planet for contracting."

Serana was talking to an Epicanthx, he was impossible to read and know for sure if he was telling the truth, lying or otherwise, same with everyone he’d ever grown up with, thick headed you might say if you were being cruel! It didn’t seem as difficult to him, just because of that background, where nobody knew what the other man was really thinking. It made you more direct, doing or acting, living life less out of your head.

“Anyone tried just asking them?” Route one direct, that was Kei. Had to be someone in that entire race, “has to be someone that can be trusted.” His hand still not leaving his stubbled chin, somehow that tactile act opened up his thoughts.

Helping rebuild? “Where do I sign up?” Kei clapped his hands together, swinging his body around to lean in. A problem, he could solve it. That’s how he worked, see a problem, find a solution. There was always a solution.

"That is I suspect why they haven't tried attacking again. Talking to them has proven helpful but difficult. Without trying to simply force them to agree as some would put it." She might have smirked to that only because her lips curled up while taking another sip of her drink. She looked at him though for helping rebuild and a few ideas came to her. "Your help would be more then welcomed, the farmlands are rebuilding and some of the houses have been improving the districts. That provides more for the people to do and even gets the many on Cazadors moons involved."

“You got it. Call and I’ll be there.“ He wasn’t sure how much help he could do with the negotiation but he was sure he’d be there to try. Treating everyone with the same equal respect, no matter their species, background or history. If anything his background on the run had made him see the galaxy for what it really was, people with hopes and dreams, people with problems to help or solve.

Unknown to him, very soon in the future he’d be helping rebuilding Iego, and sanctuary shelters, it seemed a path was opening up to the old soldier about what needed to be done ahead. After the netherworld war people needed medical care, a roof over their heads and food. Old disputes needed to be settled. "Lot of people needing the basics right now, you aren't alone.

Stretching out his arms, he rolled around the last pieces of juice in the bottom of his glass. Today had been quite a day. Not one he’d have thought he’d have, walking out of that rusty old bucket of a ship he called home.

Fin there or continue?

"That sounds like a welcome change and great. Thank you." An awkward smile was on her face with her teeth showing. The equine features were a small problem but she finished her drink and was looking over just a little. "If you'll excuse me now I do have to go through finding a master and training within the academy."

[[finish here for our part]]
