STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :

He's a natural on a ship - From his time as a mechanic and engineer working and constructing ships to manning those very ships as a pilot--Khan is a natural space-faring individual. He was born to be in space and loves every facet of it.

He's a fighter - He's busted knuckles working on the ship and on people he's had differences with. His body is hardened from countless means and he can dish as much as he can take.

Force Sensitive - While he doesn't know why both of his aforementioned strengths have been a development augmented by his force sensitivity. In dire situations, Khan seems to perform exceedingly well for the reason which is unbeknownst to him.

He has a big head - Khan has always been an attractive individual, and intelligent, which hasn't gone unnoticed by those around him nor to himself. That being said, he often thinks very highly of himself and exudes confidence and what some may say can be pure arrogance. It can lead to some tight situations for himself and those around him.

He's Big Mad - Khan doesn't have a great temperament, and he doesn't like losing. Whenever he feels as though he was outplayed or out-maneuvered, he's quick to anger and gets physical in situations. He also lacks self-accountability and will almost never accept that he was wrong in a situation, which means he almost has zero self-reflective moments.

Recovering Alcoholic - During his time as a mechanic, he had endured alcoholism which had to confront before becoming a pilot. He struggles with it often and when tragedy occurs, its temptation is all too alluring for him.

APPEARANCE:
Khan Morren is an attractive man with short brown hair, combed backward and kept. He has green eyes and a few battle scars from some bar brawls most notably crossing his eyebrow on his left side. He's above average in height for the human species at five-foot-eleven and weighs approximately one-hundred-and-seventy-five pounds. He dresses nice when he's not in the pilot seat but otherwise wears some of your average pirate-tier attire.

BIOGRAPHY:
Khan Morren, of the human species, was born on Bakura to a man who worked for Bakur Mining Company. His mom was a homemaker and Khan's life was relatively uneventful for the majority of his younger years leading into his adolescence. He was intelligent and athletic, which meant he did well in school and in social constructs therein. His relationship with his father was fine, though his father worked long hours in the mines and was often not home.

At the age of fifteen though, he lost his father in a collapsed mine and he was forced to put school on the side-burner and begin working. Being that they existed on the outer-rim, regulatory laws protecting workers as not all that strong and so there was no help given to him or his mother. The event scarred him for sure, not only that he had lost his father who he was never able to truly create a relationship, but also it seemed as though he was really going to do well in his education and perhaps do something more than manual labor. Nevertheless, the variable which is life could not always remain stable.

He found work in one of the exportation companies that were affiliated with the powerful Bakur Mining company, a sister company which it used to send it's minerals throughout the outer rim and into the core worlds. He quickly learned as much about the engineering and maintenance of ships as anyone around him. He had a knack for absorbing massive amounts of information and excelled within his trade. Even still, his home life and sometimes his work life was suffering due to his developed alcoholism in the years following his father's death.

He often drank from sun-up to sun-down, hiding a bottle in his jacket while he was at work. He would get into arguments and fights at work and outside of work, often going to jail and getting hefty fines for putting other workers and civilians in hospitals. He was even put there more than a few times when he picked the wrong fight with a group of passers-by from off-planet. When one of the main engines on a ship misfired and was damaged to a great degree due to his negligence, he was forced by his family and company to face his alcoholism. At that point, he got cleaned up but struggled for some time with his problem with drinking.

His supervisor worked with him on it, and as he improved the situation, he was given an opportunity to train as a pilot for one of the export ships. As anything he set his mind to, Khan learned quickly how to pilot the ships and was a natural. He did this job for some time, but on one of his outings, he received a holomessage. When he opened it, he found out his mother had died from a brain aneurysm. It was all that it took to send him back into the bottle, so far into it that he was seemingly unable to pull himself back out.

On one fateful night, as he often did while on leave from work, he was at the local cantina shoving down drink after drink. The bartender at one point tried to cut him off but after passing a handful of credits to the selkath, he shook his head and minded his business so Khan could keep going. He ended up getting into it with one of the patrons of the bar over Khan making a pass at their woman.

Words were exchanged, slurs and yelling, but it was when the man called slighted his mother that sent Khan over the edge. He beat the man to death, with everyone watching unable to pull him off. Khan was overwhelmed at the moment and was wide-eyed with a bestial expression as he stepped away from the deceased man. As the authorities were called, he knew that he would have to face big time for what he had done and he fled. He hid until he sobered up but his name and the picture were being moved everywhere.

He was alone, but also well-off since he had no one to depend on him. That being said, he had a sizeable amount of credits that would help him be smuggled off the planet. From there he landed on another back-water planet and was looking for a way off it. That's when he met Alliser Roche. For whatever reason, he was in the market for a new pilot, and as far as Alliser was concerned, for whatever reason Khan was in the market for a ship to pilot. Things simply worked out. Not to mention, being a wanted man, there were only so many jobs Khan could get. Why not become a pirate?
