SPECIAL FEATURES

STRENGTHS

  • Force Resistance: As the hide of the Terentatak is naturally highly resistant to the Force, this coat grants all the ability of the original coat from which it was crafted. However, much like the original coat, it isn't immune to the Force's influence, just highly resistant.

  • Armor Plating: As Ket found himself at the end of a blaster just as much as a lightsaber in recent years, when crafting this new version of an old classic, he thought it prudent to include a few pieces of cortosis-durasteel weave he had left over from the creation of his gauntlets. There are four plate in total; two in the upper back both left and right sides, one embedded within the section of collar covering the beck of the neck, and one embedded within the lower back portion.

WEAKNESSES

  • It's Still A Coat: While it provides a good amount of protection from both The Force and Blaster Bolts alike, it's still just a coat. Whilst more heavy-duty than your average leather coat, it can still be torn, ripped, and punctured. And unless a physical blow hits one of the armor plates directly, a strong enough strike can still cause blunt-force trauma.

DESCRIPTION

Long ago, Ket had purchased one of Akure Leatherwork's famous "Cater Coats", a customized version with embossed designs adorning it. It has served Ket well over the years, but it wasn't quite serving the purpose for which he had originally acquired the garment. After his self-imposed fall from the public eye, He'd found himself more at the end of a blaster than he did combating other Force Users. However, whilst having a bit of the protection from the Force was always welcome, he desired something to compliment his gauntlets, adding just a little more protection to his repertoire. As a result, he took great care to refashion the coat into something more suited to his current needs, and his fashion sense of course.
