Diana Mordin scanned the skies of Cato Neimodia with listless almost dead eyes. The small sheen they had to them had faded slightly, and dark circles made their way around the lower rim of her eye sockets. She was tired. The Jedi Knight had not slept for weeks on end, having been haunted by visions of Daella Apparine executing a Sith in cold blood. Of course she had not seen the actual act, but she had seen the after effects.
She knew what had happened, Daella had ended a Sith's life.
Of course it was rather hypostritical to call Daella a monster, she was not one after all. Diana herself had ended a Sith's life without a second thought, this however seemed different. This Sith...she had been different than Velok. Velok had destroyed not one but two worlds, killed countless Jedi, murdered her friends. This Sith...the one that Daella had killed was different. Diana was sure that she had been a murderer and perhaps even a bad person, but had she destroyed entire planets? Had she been completely beyond redemption?
Diana had did not know of course, and it was this question that haunted her even now.
She had come here to Cato Neimodia to settle some thoughts in her mind, to answer a question and full fill a duty she felt she had picked up upon looting Karin Dorn's corpse. When she had searched the plant woman among finding a map, a ring, and a tuba Diana had also found a simple holo-display. The picture had been of a young girl, blonde and with a cute chubby little face. Diana had quickly surmised from the photo itself that the girl had been Karin's daughter. Upon searching the woman's corpse further and using her gift in psychometry to begin to tracking her query Diana had found Evelynn's former home. From there it had been a simply matter to track the girls path, eventually finding out that she had recently come to Cato Neimodia.
So now Diana searched for the girl among the ruins of the old Jedi Temple, which had recently become a breeding ground for some of the...stranger beasts of the planet.
