  HISTORY:Look at the world around you. Is it all as you see it for? Can you see the tugs of reality at work? See the action of things, the waves of change, the shifts of time that eat away at the body until it is but a husk? Probably not. Kalanda can't see such things either, but she can see the force at work, and how it comes into play with the lives of everyone around her. Born on Coruscant, Kalanda was the rare child of a Miraluka and a Human. Though she does have eyes, she can not see through them like many humans; as such, she took up her mother's culture of covering her eyes. They didn't live there forever of course, as work became hard to come by, and her father turned to mercenary work, ending the family up on Ryloth. Her childhood was rather happy initially. Her father brought home enough credits to give her the life she sought, and her mother trained her in tapping into the force, seeing the current of things, and from it she gained a greater understanding of herself and those around her. As time grew however, she saw the suffering of those around her, felt the pain of the world she lived on, and felt compelled to make a change. Kalanda's mother split from her father, and it was from that that the woman's life took a dark turn. Kalanda's mother was incensed that her daughter cared more of healing than for power, and attempted to beat these ideals out of the woman by force; only adding to Kalanda's grief.
  
  Hearing of an order of force users who sought such a thing on her world, Kalanda enlisted with the Knights Obsidian at the age of sixteen, and using the training from her mother began to forge new connections with the force. The Nightsisters she was assigned to showed her things she could do with the Ichor that she had thought impossible. With their guidance, her healing and mediating skills improved by leaps and bounds. Kalanda now works as a seer of sorts, traveling to isolated worlds within the Confederacy, healing and mending the spirits of the people, and learning how to appease the spirits of the worlds she visits.
  
  Least that was the plan. Kalanda has fallen into a bit of a rut as of late, having fallen for a Sith woman and being taken in as an apprentice. Kalanda has recently cut ties with the CIS and grows dangerously close to losing her ties to her nightsister clan; as every danger requires her to reveal more and more of their secrets. Fueled by this new emotion she doesn't understand, Kalanda unknowingly walks with Amur into the dark parts of the galaxy, seemingly oblivious to what it is doing to her soul.

  Kalanda has platinum, almost white hair, and occasionally dons a metallic mask over her useless eyes when it strikes her; trying to keep with Miraluka tradition. Her eyes were initially red, but have taken a yellow tone to them after her exposure to the dark side. She has recently taken to wearing sunglasses over her Miraluka mask, trying to seem more down to each, though her eye color causes alarm with many who encounter her.
  
  She wears dark long sleeve vestments, always ensuring that her arms are completely covered though typically with fabric that is thin and allows her skin to breath. Her arms and legs are covered with aged scar tissue from beatings she received in her youth, though she employs illusions to keep them concealed if it is needed. She carries a saber hilt made from the branch of a tree of Dathomir, where the Ichor is strong in it's bark, and it's blade burns with the sickening green of it's power. She often is seen with a soft smile, and speaks with a light tone, though she is quick to turn to angry upon the sight of unjust actions or acts of cruelty. She carries a medicine pouch on her hip, filled with different treatments and herbs she can use to make natural remedies, though she has no issue tapping into the force to get the job done if it is needed.

  Why You Chad to Do That: Kalanda is interrupted from her job by a Sith who is looking for jedi. Hilarity ensues when Kalanda reveals she isn't a jedi, and attempts to flirt with the Sith to get out without charges. It goes much better than one would expect. (Complete)
  
  Help A Girl Out: Kalanda, having grown frustrated by Amur's seemingly ignoring of her, seeks the woman out on Dromaund Kaas, resulting in her arrest. One heart felt conversation later, and she's starting to wonder about the Sith under that mask. (Complete)
  
  Something Always Interrupts: Kalanda and Amur were initally planning on an uneventful flight, only to end up on a desolate Sith Frigate that is infested with Star Wierds. Amur is gravely injuried, and Kalanda has to draw upon her Nightsister magicks to save the Sith. Afterwards, they both feel a compulsion towards each other, and Kalanda leaves the CIS behind.   Pros:
  
  Force Sensitive: Kalanda is skilled in using her force powers, and has no reserves about holding it back if she is in danger.
  
  Trust Me, I'm a Doctor: Kalanda is a licensed medical practitioner, and has all the needed training to operate her own medical clinic. As such, she knows how to mend wounds even without the force, and knows how to brew up medicine and cures thanks to her sisters.
  
  I See You: Despite being blind, Kalanda has force sight granted from her Miraluka blood. Though it is not as good as the sight her mother has, Kalanda has learned to read people through her sight.
  
  Spiritual: Kalanda has a unique connection with the force, able to tap into and see it in a different way to due the training by the Nightsisters,
  
  Cake Boss: Despite being blind, Kalanda is also a skilled baker and cook. Her signature cupcakes are the nuclear option for when she needs to cheer someone up.
  
  Cons:
  
  Force Dependent: Due to her Miraluka blood, Kalanda is dependent on the force, and being exposed to a void in the force terrifies her as she is rendered blind and powerless.
  
  I Can Make You Care: Kalanda cares, perhaps too much. She is all to willing to shoulder the burden of others in the attempt to help, even at her own suffering.
