At the time, her father held the mantle of Mand'alor. His tenure as Sole Ruler was a short one as he immediately stepped aside upon
Ra Vizsla
's return (with humbled relief actually) serving once again in his old position as Akaan to Mandalore the Undying just before the Mandalorian Civil War began in full against the traitor Monroe and her followers.Since then, Clan Munin has moved around a lot over the years... Some instances were by choice, others were by necessity like after the Red Coronation when the clan was exiled from Mandalorian space along with several others. One major thing these life experiences have taught Kaiyra is the importance of being resilient and remaining strong in the Mandalorian faith.
Kaiyra's next chapter in life is just beginning and that destiny will be of her own making guided by the Tenets of the Resol'nare that binds all, well most Mandalorians...
In all honesty, following the Sole Ruler bit has been a bit of a sticky wicket for all the clans as it's been questionable who is the "True Mand'alor" or who is worthy of the mantle to lead their people to glory once again. Someday, and hopefully soon, that Mandalorian will present themselves over all the others. Being united as one is better than being apart for their warrior culture to survive in this chaotic galaxy as is and always has been in truth, well at least in her humble lifespan so far.
