Description:
The Empire of Hand was a group that came together under the leadership of a long dead Chiss known as Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Thrawn had the foresight to look into many things, always seeking to improve and secure the future of the galaxy. As such the Empire of the Hand, a faction that he himself helped found, guide, and push forward was always at the forefront of technological means. This included but was not limited to Starships, droids, armor, and of course day to day technology that could be used for subtle military application. The Empire of the Hand was used for exploration, but also creation. Many of these creations were in labs scattered around the entirety of the galaxy, one of these labs was located in the outer rim, stumbled upon by Kurt and Kaile.

Less of a lab and more of an outpost, this massive Bunker structure spanned for miles and miles beneath the surface of a large island, stretching up into the islands dormant volcano and deep down into the oceans beneath. It was within this bunker that Kurt and Kaile found dozens, if not hundreds, of unique technologies including tanks, speeders, blasters, and eventually the CS-X2.

The device, known officially as the CS-X2 is little more than an incredibly advanced Computer Spike.

The technology was developed out of necessity for agents of the Empire of the Hand. a Computer Spike that could, and did, go against nearly every effective anti-slicing countermeasure. Though Computer Spikes already mostly did this, there were a few measures that could effectively stop these wondrous pieces of technology in their tracks, such as Socketguards. These countermeasures prevented a regular Computer Spike from being completely effective in the field, since if an agent encountered one of these horrid things they were poodoo out of luck.

In order to properly counter the counter, the Empire of the Hand developed what would eventually becoming the CS-X2, a computer spike that would effectively be the end all be all of slicing technology.

The CS-X2 does this by doing what regular Computer Spikes don't, it learns. The device is capable of moving past and learning it's way through a solution, containing and Virtual Intelligence that is designed to think its way through a problem and creatively find a solution. Once it learns from the problem that it encountered the device takes this into account and 'memorizes' it, allowing the CS-X2 to counter this old problem faster and more effectively the next time it is encountered. It also means that the CS-X2 becomes much faster at solving problems than traditional computer spikes, being capable of breaking into most secure systems within seconds, even countering things like socketguards without much issues.

In short, the CS-X2 was designed to be the perfect Computer Spike. If a computer is on a network, the CS-X2 will hack into that network, take control of it, and find the data it's looking for.
