STRENGTHS

• Lightweight: Junkyard Knight Armor is some of the lightest weighing armor ever produced by the Imperial Remnant, even lighter than Tempest-class Storm Commando Armor
• Protective: For an armor of its weight class, Junkyard Knight Armor offers superb protection from kinetic impacts and lightsaber strikes
• Alchemized: Junkyard Knight Armor is the first armor produced on Mahporeem to be alchemized, vastly increasings its resilience to damage and durability
• Vambraces: Like many Mahporeenian armors, Junkyard Knight Armor comes equipped with vambraces that can accept different weapon mountings and attachments

WEAKNESSES

• Limited coverage: Only the most vitally important areas of the body are covered with Junkyard Knight Armor, leaving other parts completely exposed

DESCRIPTION

Even before the fall of the Diarchy, many Brotherhood acolytes actively opposed Laphisto's attempts to take control of their faction, and when those efforts failed, those who had gone against the Liaste Order fled to friendlier territories such as the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant, often with little more than the clothes on their backs. Nonetheless, the Imperial Remnant recognized the value of such force users joining their ranks, and despite their own misgivings, the Junkyard Knights of Mahporeem were born.

Each new member of the order was giving a set of armor to commemorate their exodus to Mahporeem, called "Junkyard Knight" Armor. In addition to providing unit recognition for its members, Junkyard Knight Armor is lightweight, unrestrictive, and easy to manufacture, while also providing superb resistance to kinetic impacts and lightsaber strikes. Junkyard Knight Armor is also the first armor to ever be alchemized on Mahporeem, further increasing its overall resilience and durability.

Of course, such armor is not without flaw. Junkyard Knight Armor offers its wearer only limited coverage, poor resistance to blasters and other more "exotic" forms of damage and can also suffer from the effects of force nullification, which causes the armor to become more brittle and susceptible to being damaged. Nonetheless, Junkyard Knight Armor is well suited for use by force sensitives, and the Imperial Remnant hopes to continue the production of this armor for the foreseeable future.
