Classification: Urban Center

Location: Lotho Minor

Affiliation: First Order

Demographics: 32% Dathomirian Zabraks, 19% Junker, 18% Anacondans, 8%Humans, 7% Gamorrean, 4% Weequay, 4%Rodian, 3% Rattak, 3% Twi’Lek, 2% Other

Points of Interest:

  • Government Hall: Perhaps the most notable feature on the skyline is the Government Hall. Here is where most of the First Order’s main offices are housed. Most of the offices are on the second floor with the first floor serving as a local clinic and soup kitchen.

  • Favela Hills: Surrounds the city of Junker and looks down on the overcrowded downtown area, here many of the city’s citizens new and old build their own makeshift homes.

  • The Wrecking Ball: The city’s most notorious cantina, built beneath the highway systems, it is said that a Hutt works out of here in the basement of the Wrecking Ball. Although no one’s been able to confirm this one way or another.

  • Crushed Compacts: A crushing service that typical destroys speeders but it’s been known to take on droids and other materials that need crushing.

  • Red Speeder Skyway: RSS is the most reliable source of transportation in Junker City. Just walk to a red terminal with the RSS logo and make your request and a little red speeder will be by to pick you up shortly.

  • Dent-N-Droid: Your go to place to pick up spare droid parts or sell your spare droid parts, if we don’t have it, chances are no one will!

  • Amsel Apartments: Built across from the Government Hall, Amsel Apartments is the other most notable feature of the skyline. Housed here are not only apartments but various amenities such as laundry, hygiene (hair/nails/scales, etc) and fast food establishments built along the newly dubbed, 'Seiger Way.' Which is nothing more than hobbled lamps along a beaten path.

Description: Built from the husks of starships, ancient buildings and the scraps of the galaxy. Junker City so aptly named because of where and what it is, on Lotho Minor serving as the planetary capital. Lotho Minor the virtual salvage yard planet for the galaxy. Where favelas spring up out of nowhere and highways surge above them all like racing stripes on a speeder. The atmosphere is heavily polluted as several waste incinerators are at work at all hours of the day, burning the garbage that is often brought to Lotho Minor.

The more prominent buildings that stand out and make what could be called a skyline are the ones that have survived. Survived to be repaired, restored or simply to have another coat of paint or plaster slapped on the interior. Drones and various auxiliary craft make up the air traffic that have to be equipped with filters so that those who fly through can breathe.

Junker City. A place where having an air filter means you have made it, with most people walking around wearing some sort of breather. Water treatment plants only add to the pollution even when they are simply trying to provide good drinking water. The ground, no one's even really seen what the dirt on Junker City actually looks like. Then again, you'd be hard pressed to find much of actual dirt on Lotho Minor.

History: Even after the four hundred years of darkness, Lotho Minor was still pitted as the wasteland of the galaxy. From the Fringe to the First Order the planet has not only seen it all, but bears the reminders of each nation's remains. Records of what it was for the Fringe or governments past are still hard to find. For the First Order, however; Lotho Minor has been a struggle. A struggle to clean and keep in an orderly fashion. Various departments from the FIES (First Imperial Environmental Services), FODWM (First Order Division of Waste Management), FIMS (First Imperial Medical Services), and FODHW (First Order's Department of Hazardous Waste) all the way to FOCIE (First Order Corps of Imperial Engineers) have arrived to Lotho Minor and Junker City in particular in an effort to clean the city and the planet up.

Or to at least try and sort it out into a proper waste facility (erm planet). It is said, that even with the First Order here it’s likely that Junker City won’t truly see the dirt as it is built upon layers, and layers of compacted junk, going through it would take not only a lot of effort but time as well. As the First Imperial Reclamation Services would need to go through and check each layer to ensure nothing of historical value has been tossed out. Many of the city’s official records only date to just after the four hundred years of darkness, anything before that is lost to the waste.

Intent: To flesh out First Order lore, and provide the First Order with more cities to RP in.
