  • Planetary Features: Jhaessa Prime is a world of pure, unbroken wilderness, untouched by the hands of sentient civilisation. Here, nature has been allowed to thrive in its fullest, most unrestrained form. Fauna roam in uncounted abundance, and flora of every shape and colour blanket the land, their alchemical potential lying dormant, awaiting the discovery of a scholarly mind. Vast fields stretch into the horizon with grass reaching high past the knee, while dense, labyrinthine forests weave a living tapestry of green. Jhaessa Prime is a planet of untold promise—a pristine frontier, teeming with life, calling out to be explored.
  • Major Locations:
    • The Auric Spires:
      • Rising like gilded spears from the highlands of Jhaessa Prime, the Auric Spires are a breathtaking mountain range renowned for the golden hue that clings to their jagged surfaces at dawn and dusk. Though composed of dense metamorphic rock veined with mineral-rich deposits, it is the fine lattice of reflective Aurodium and Kyber Crystals that causes the peaks to shimmer as though lit from within.

The tallest of these spires pierce the clouds, some so narrow they seem to defy the wind itself. Erosion has carved sharp ridgelines and wind-bored hollows into the cliffs, forming natural amphitheatres where the breeze whistles like a chorus. Bioluminescent moss clings to the shaded crags, and winged creatures nest in alcoves hundreds of meters above the valley floor.

Legends—or perhaps future discoveries—speak of Force-sensitive currents running beneath the spires, said to enhance meditative clarity or provoke powerful visions at sunrise. Some theorise the region once served as a pilgrimage site for ancient wayfarers or exiled Orders long forgotten by galactic history.

To stand beneath the Auric Spires is to feel both dwarfed by time and awakened to wonder. Whether prospectors, pilgrims, or explorers, few leave this golden range unchanged.
    • The Emerald Fringe:
      • Stretching across the southeastern coast of Zalandria, the Emerald Fringe is a breathtaking tangle of coastal rainforest and scattered isles, where jade-green canopies spill down cliffs into turquoise waters. Towering trees with serpentine roots anchor themselves in brackish tidal pools, while broad-leafed flora and hanging mosses drape the land in a perpetual veil of green.

The region is a place of overwhelming vitality, teeming with life, both seen and unseen. Brightly feathered avians soar between natural stone arches, their calls echoing over coves lined with glowing coral. Tidal mangroves reach deep into the sea, concealing freshwater springs and thick underwater root systems that serve as nurseries for aquatic life. By night, bioluminescent insects and flowering vines light the jungle paths like living constellations.

Hidden among the foliage, ancient terraces overtaken by nature hint at past occupants—or perhaps a forgotten civilisation swallowed by time. Some believe that the Fringe holds a dormant Force nexus within its heart, subtly guiding the growth of its flora and fauna in harmony rather than chaos. Others say the land resists intrusion, turning navigational tech erratic and causing unseasonal storms when greed lingers too long.

For settlers, the Emerald Fringe promises fertile soil, rare botanical resources, and a defensible location shielded by terrain and tides. But it also demands respect. Only those who approach with patience and humility ever learn its secrets—and those who come to conquer are often swallowed whole by the jungle that does not forget.
    • The Hollow Scar:
      • Carved deep into the surface of Jhaessa Prime, the Hollow Scar stretches for hundreds of kilometres like an ancient wound etched into the flesh of the world. Its cliffs fall sheer and unforgiving, weathered by millennia of wind and time, while its heart opens into a vast network of sunlit valleys, subterranean hollows, and natural amphitheatres where the wind speaks in haunting tones.

Unlike the lush abundance of the Emerald Fringe or the towering majesty of the Auric Spires, the Hollow Scar exudes stillness—not lifelessness, but a kind of reverent quiet, as if the land itself remembers something long forgotten. Vegetation grows sparsely along its high walls, with vine-strangled ledges and wind-bent trees clinging to cracks in the stone. Below, hardy flora and glowing root-mosses flourish along the Rift floor, especially near hot springs that bubble up through cracks in the ancient crust.

Among the winding paths and sharp ridgelines, explorers have found signs of unnatural geometry—smooth stone pillars half-buried in rockfall, or echo chambers that seem to respond to sound with harmonic resonance. Some suspect these may be the remnants of a pre-sentient Force-wielding species that lived in communion with the planet before vanishing without a trace. Others believe the Scar is not natural at all—but a consequence of some ancient planetary trauma, perhaps even the site of a cataclysmic Force event.

By day, the Scar bakes under direct sun; by night, it chills to the bone. Few animals venture too deep, and those that do—large insectoid burrowers, echo-larks, or gliding scavengers—are unusually cautious, as though obeying unspoken boundaries.

For settlers and surveyors, the Hollow Scar represents both risk and reward: it is mineral-rich, protected from orbital scans, and large enough to conceal outposts or even a small colony. But the Rift does not yield easily. Storms often gather overhead with no warning. Navigation becomes disoriented near certain rock formations. And those who camp too close to the oldest caves often report vivid dreams of voices, of ruins, of something watching from beneath.

In time, someone will try to claim the Scar. Whether they return to tell the tale is another matter.
    • The Selenvyr River:
      • The Selenvyr River winds like a silver thread through the heart of Ilyndraal, stretching from mist-wrapped highlands in the far east to the tidal deltas of the western fringe, where it empties into the sea beneath canopies of glowing vine-forests. It is the largest river on Jhaessa Prime—a continent-spanning current of life, mystery, and whispered ancient memory.

By day, the Selenvyr glitters with clarity, its waters reflecting the towering emerald rainforests and the occasional flash of scaled wings overhead. But it is by night that the river earns its name. Under Jhaessa's twin moons, the surface of the Selenvyr glows faintly with a pale, ethereal light, believed to be caused by a rare bioluminescent microorganism native only to this waterway. In the moonlight, the river seems to pulse softly with life, as if breathing in rhythm with the planet itself.

The banks of the Selenvyr are lush and sacred, brimming with rare flora, many with known medicinal or alchemical potential, and teeming with wildlife both dazzling and dangerous. Towering spire-trees lean over the water, their roots grasping ancient stone terraces now overrun with moss and time. Occasional ruins line the river's path, suggesting a presence long vanished or perhaps never truly gone.

Some say the river is a Force-sensitive entity, guiding the growth of the jungle, nourishing what should not bloom, and stirring visions in those who dare sleep too near its banks. Others claim that deep in its slow-moving midsection lies a submerged temple, visible only when both moons align, where the water parts in silence and memory.

For all its beauty, the Selenvyr is no passive current. Its underflows are strong, its depths unknown, and its moods as shifting as moonlight. Explorers who follow its course often speak of strange echoes in the mist, and of seeing the past—or perhaps the future—reflected not in the sky, but in the water itself.

To follow the Selenvyr River is to journey through the living soul of Ilyndraal—a path of beauty, danger, and the whispering promise of secrets yet to be revealed.
  • The Six Major Continents:
    • Ilyndraal - "The Verdant Crown":
      • The largest and most fertile of Jhaessa Prime's continents, Ilyndraal is a vast, vibrant expanse of tropical rainforest, river-woven valleys, and bio-rich wetlands. The mighty Selenvyr River runs like a living artery from mountain spring to ocean delta, feeding ecosystems untouched by civilisation. Towering canopy forests glow softly by night, while rare medicinal plants and alchemically potent flora thrive beneath the shade of ancient trees. This is the spiritual heart of the world—where the Living Force hums in every leaf, and great leviathan-creatures roam unseen beneath the trees.
Key Biomes: Tropical jungle, river basins, lowland wetlands, rainforest plateaus.
    • Nyvoria - "The Continent of Mists":
      • Shrouded in perpetual fog, Nyvoria is a high-altitude continent of quiet valleys, marshy meadows, and forested ridgelines veiled in soft grey light. Water is everywhere—rising in hot springs, hanging in the air, or carving winding rivers through the land. The terrain is unpredictable, carved by erosion and riddled with limestone caves and mysterious sinkholes. Many believe Nyvoria to be a place of vision quests and reflection, where the mists themselves conceal memories of the planet's past. Travellers often report vivid dreams after camping in its lowlands.
Key Biomes: Foggy wetlands, temperate forest, limestone caverns, mist-covered moors.
    • Belmorra - "The Broken Rise":
      • Belmorra is a continent of stone and silence. Dominated by steep escarpments, badlands, and vast highland plateaus, its landscape is harsh, dramatic, and deeply scarred by ancient tectonic upheaval. Towering mesas and wind-blasted rock formations stretch across the horizon, their layers hiding crystalline deposits and rare ore veins. Lightning storms frequently rake the sky, and sharp temperature shifts create extreme weather. Despite the harshness, life here is resilient—and so are its secrets. It is said that Belmorra holds Force-laced ore and structures that are neither natural nor entirely abandoned.
Key Biomes: Rocky highlands, dry canyons, wind-carved cliffs, mineral-rich badlands.
    • Zalandria - "The Singing Coasts":
      • Zalandria is an archipelagic coastal continent formed from coral reefs, sunlit lagoons, and island forests. Tidewaters shimmer with floating flora and glowing plankton, while salt-laced breezes carry the calls of migratory creatures overhead. The landscape is constantly shaped by the sea: islets form and vanish with the seasons, coral cliffs breathe with the tides, and submerged grottos hide wonders untouched by time. The Emerald Fringe, a drifting chain of bioluminescent islands, is one of its greatest wonders. To many Force-sensitives, Zalandria feels alive in ways other continents do not—like it listens back.
Key Biomes: Island chains, mangrove forests, reef-dotted lagoons, tidal estuaries.
    • Thalyndor - "The Pale Expanse":
      • A land of silence and solemn beauty, Thalyndor is draped in glacial tundra, frozen fjords, and boreal forests that crackle under the shifting auroras. Beneath its thick snowfields and ice-buried cliffs lie geothermal fissures and ancient petrified groves—remnants of a warmer past. Herds of shaggy, frost-born beasts roam across mirror-bright lakes, and hot springs form green sanctuaries amidst the cold. It is a land that rewards patience and punishes arrogance. Deep in the north, whispers speak of ice-veiled structures and Force anomalies preserved in time.
Key Biomes: Glacial valleys, coniferous taiga, frozen wetlands, aurora-lit steppes.
    • Sovalea - "The Emberborn Wilds":
      • Volcanic and volatile, Sovalea is a land of smouldering earth and elemental contrast. Its terrain spans cracked lava plains, ash-covered mountains, obsidian spires, and pockets of reborn jungle where nature claws its way back. Rivers of cooled magma form fertile ravines where fire-resistant flora thrives, and geysers spew steam into a hazy, heat-distorted sky. Force-sensitives describe Sovalea as "raw and unfiltered", a place where the energy of creation still simmers beneath the surface. Some believe Sovalea was once struck by a celestial object, igniting a cataclysm that shaped the entire continent.
Key Biomes: Lava fields, active volcanic ridges, geothermal forests, scorched plateaus.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION:

Jhaessa Prime—its name yet unspoken by the wider galaxy—lies concealed deep within a dark and roiling nebula, a turbulent storm of ionised chaos that churns endlessly through space. This celestial maelstrom cripples the systems of any starship that strays too close, dismantling vessels with electromagnetic fury and scattering the debris of those unworthy to breach its veil. Hidden within this chaos, however, is a world of extraordinary beauty and untapped promise.

Jhaessa Prime boasts vast and fertile lands, rich with rare minerals, unclaimed resources, and raw materials that could fetch a fortune for those daring—or clever—enough to extract them. Beneath its untouched soil lie veins of wealth, while above, towering forests and sweeping plains offer real estate of immeasurable potential.

The nebula that guards it, dangerous as it is, could also serve as the planet's greatest shield—an impenetrable curtain of cosmic storms offering unparalleled seclusion. Should someone manage to chart a safe course through the storm, without losing hull or hope, they might secure not only a trove of riches but a hidden sanctuary in a galaxy forever teetering on the edge of war.

So far, no such trailblazer has emerged. And if one has, their silence and the absence of any signs of civilisation suggests that either they perished in the attempt... or chose never to speak of what they found. If there is one truth that endures, it is this: with time comes progress—and in its wake, even the most pristine corners of existence are eventually marked by the hand of sentient intervention.
