Jedi Guardians: Training

orXB6xv.png

nGPMKK4.png

A new planet that one ventured off to and Tyron was seeking to develop further as a Jedi Guardian for the future sake. For the Galactic Alliance and the New Jedi Order. This world was within the Churba sector, the Mid Rim region of the Galaxy. After having confronted Darth Virelia Darth Virelia on Rakata Prime a while ago. Tyron wanted to improve his knowledge and skills as a Jedi Guardian to not repeat any mistakes he made back then. The 8-foot tall and athletic muscular Besalisk that was a Padawan Learner had been informed that another Padawan Learner Aris Noble Aris Noble was also a future Jedi Guardian aspirant within the Order.

His ship descended from the space and skies of New Cov. Records and reports weren't joking about the vast Jungle landscapes that filled this world almost entirely. This will be interesting to train in this kind of environment who knows what the Jungles of New Cov hold within them. Tyron landed his ship down and began to follow the coordinates in finding Aris Noble Aris Noble this will be his first time meeting him but at least on the Jedi Order's databases he was able to identify the Padawan Learner he sought after.

"Hmm. I wonder where he is. Coordinates have led me here so far."

A sigh escaped from Tyron's lips as his ship its arrival on New Cov and now exiting the ship itself using the ramp to touch the surface of the Jungle infested world. The Besalisk glanced around to see what the Force would lead him towards. Concentrated and calmed his mind to find a balance within himself.

Tyron remembered his lesson with Caltin Vanagor Caltin Vanagor where patience is a vital key and wait a little bit longer to gain more information. Not bash ahead into scenarios where surprises can unfold. He stood near his ship and the ramp he used to exit it.

Took out his datapad to view the Jedi Order's databases reviewing the accessible profile of Aris Noble Aris Noble which left him with more thoughts.

"Aris Noble. Hm. Wonder if he is related to the Grandmaster Valery Noble Valery Noble and Kahlil Noble Kahlil Noble hm. This'll be interesting. Wonder how far along he is as a Jedi Guardian."

swQZVZB.png

"They would be my parents."

Adoptive, but his parents none the less. Aris approached with a calm smile, mug in hand that he sipped at every now and then as he moved. He wasn't quite eight foot yet, but the older teen was certainly pushing that with room still to grow. In time he would end up that height, but the youth of childhood still showed in his face.

"Welcome to the Temple, Padawan Khan. It's good to meet you in person." Asides from their correspondence about this meeting, they had yet to meet. More of the Order, more Jedi, it was important to Aris to meet them in his mind. "I'm not too far down that path I think. But my goal isn't to just be a Guardian. The Battlemaster of the New Jedi Order, though, is what I've set my sights on."

Jedi Guardian Training - Meeting

orXB6xv.png

nGPMKK4.png

He arrived in the Temple, seemed the Hangar Bay made sense in where to initially meet up with Aris Noble Aris Noble and any other Jedi that were stationed here. It left Tyron wondering why New Cov of all places.

"Oh didn't realize you were related Padawan Noble. Sorry."

Tyron sometimes forgot he does tower over a lot of individuals that don't grow to his height. It can perhaps be a little intimidating for others to see. He was examining Aris Noble Aris Noble and listening to the Padawan.

"It's good to meet you too, Padawan Noble. Huh. Looking to become a Jedi Battlemaster? Guess my goal for that role isn't on the table any more. I am looking to be a skilled duellist in both bladed and unarmed combat. Maybe my sights can shift towards becoming the Sword of the Jedi hah."

swQZVZB.png

Midsip Aris paused, then tilted his head. Confusion was visible on his face, even as usually devoid of emotion as his expressions tended to be. "Why is that goal no longer on the table?" That made no sense. There was no Battlemaster currently, and Aris himself certainly wasn't. "If that's your goal, you should strive for it. It's how to ensure the one suited most is the one actually chosen." Competition meant needing to try harder, get better. Having someone to compete against.

"Aris is fine, though." And like that the confusion was gone, replaced by the calm expression as he took another sip. "It sounded like you had something in mind from the message. So, what's the plan?"

Jedi Guardian Training: Plans

Tyron glanced over to Aris Noble Aris Noble when he spotted the confused facial expression on the younger Padawan Learner's face. The Besalisk was under the impression there was already a Jedi Battlemaster active. It posed a question in his mind can he really aim to become a Jedi Battlemaster?

He said to Jedi Master Caltin Vanagor Caltin Vanagor not only does he want to learn how to engage in combat by using bladed, force and unarmed combat but everything he learns and receives in training. He wants to pass on the legacies of past era Jedi that taught various active Jedi that serve the Galaxy currently.

"Huh. I thought there currently is an active Battlemaster among us, in the Jedi Order but you seek to fulfil the role too, Aris."

Tyron hadn't looked into the full, detailed Jedi Order roster lately and it seemed as if there might be possibilities in becoming a Jedi Battlemaster. He believed that the role was not only a position was given to a Jedi experienced and skilled with just combat but capable of instructing, teaching and training others.

A friendly, competitive rivalry between Aris Noble Aris Noble and Tyron could lead up to a lot of progression for the two of them. The nature of a Besalisk was starting to kick in. Now Tyron had something to channel that into.

"Hmm. Can call me Tyron don't need formalities around me, Aris. Not a politician or chancellor hah. Well, I've not been in-depth or thoroughly exploring the path of a Jedi Guardian either yet. I've only learnt and practiced Form I: Shii-Cho thus far. Was hoping to learn and train alongside another Padawan Learner perhaps more experienced than I, Aris."

The Besalisk was unsure where to begin apart from having a conversation and discuss a plan with Aris Noble Aris Noble in how the two of them can learn and train to become the future generation of Jedi Guardians.

Tyron wants to become a Jedi Battlemaster not to have a role or title for the sake of it. Like something to just throw onto a CV resume. No. He swore to himself to earn it rightfully and utilize the responsibilities expected off him should he achieve in becoming a Jedi Battlemaster.

He had Valery Noble Valery Noble , Jonyna Si Jonyna Si and a few other fellow Jedi believe in him with how his training has progressed thus far. Not slowing down or stopping his progress - Tyron was dedicated and determined.

swQZVZB.png

"I can show you some of the other forms I've been learning, if you'd like." Unable to use the Force beyond the very limited set way he could had him long focused on how to use his lightsaber. Among other martial forms, n truth. It was important that he did start to learn more with his lightsaber, though. Part of why he was here. Part of why he was talking to Tyron.

"We can head to the training hall then. Start sorting out which we want to focus on first?"

orXB6xv.png

nGPMKK4.png

The Besalisk had only been learning and training the first Form known as Shii-Cho. Practitioners would learn the transition from swords, other bladed weapons into Lightsabers. Tyron had a strong connection to the Lightside of the Force. In remembering what Jedi Master Caltin Vanagor Caltin Vanagor mentioned about using both the Force and a Lightsaber as a Jedi Guardian.

"Sure that sounds ideal, Aris. What other Combat Forms have you came across?"

Tyron was happy to follow Aris Noble Aris Noble to the training hall and discuss their training routine further. See what the two can learn and practice in becoming training partners, companions as Jedi Guardians.

This was indeed a start. Another resource, a fellow Jedi that Tyron can learn and train with. Ironic that he started learning from the Jedi Grandmaster Valery Noble Valery Noble and now learning from her son Aris Noble Aris Noble on New Cov. He hasn't came across Kahlil Noble Kahlil Noble yet apparently Aris' parents were the Shield and Sword of the Jedi Order. Now that was something Tyron used for inspiration and motivation.

"Alright where do you want to begin Aris?"

swQZVZB.png

"I learned Shi Cho as a youngling, then branched out into other forms. I've a good grasp on Makashi, Soresu, and Ataru through various teachings of some of my peers and teachers. Ataru in particular has an interesting take I might try to apply in whatever form I decide to focus most on. Djem So is my next avenue, and while I have been reading up on Niman, that is a form I'll never be able to use." The Force in tandem with a Lightsaber, pushing and pulling while slashing and the like, it just wasn't possible for Aris who couldn't use the Force outside his body.

"I suppose it's more on where you might want to begin, in this case. I can share what I was taught so far on those forms I mentioned I knew, or we could look into Djem So together?"

Jedi Guardian Training

orXB6xv.png

nGPMKK4.png

Tyron walked alongside Aris Noble Aris Noble through the Enclave upon New Cov. Sounds like this younger Padawan Learner had been learning, studying and training a lot in the arts of Lightsaber Combat.

It didn't surprise him that Aris was the son of Jedi Grandmaster Valery Noble Valery Noble and perhaps there was some influence from her to cause inspiration in his learning and Jedi training. He was in thought as he listened.

The mentioning of the other traditional Lightsaber Forms peaked Tyron's interest. Especially since he is seeking to become a Jedi Guardian. Makashi, Soresu, Ataru, Djem So and Niman. Words to remember.

"Huh I need to study all of those Forms back in the Jedi Archives. Maybe look into some Holocrons if there are advanced tiers to them. Happy to learn and train with you in them though Aris. All of them."

For the first time in his life as a Jedi the Besalisk had a smile of happiness. A feeling he rarely experienced since the tragic departure from his family and home-world Ojom. A friendship was on the horizon between Aris and Tyron a friendly rivalry perhaps where they both sought to become Jedi Battlemasters.

A thought then dawned onto Tyron when the form Niman had been mentioned by Aris. It led to the Besalisk asking this particular question to the fellow Padawan Learner.

"Niman. You cannot use this Form. How come Aris?" Tyron glanced to Aris wondering why this was.

The Padawan Learner then nodded his head about branching out in learning, practicing, studying and training the Form known as Djem So. Becoming a Jedi Guardian, a Shield for others and potentially a Battlemaster every aspect of Combat had to be learned and studied, as well as practicing and training to follow-up in understanding what assets are, how they can be used and why, when they should be used.

"Sure we can explore Djem So together. I'm happy to do anything and quite open to grow as a Jedi Guardian for the future of the Jedi. Ready when you are Aris."

swQZVZB.png

"What I can do in the Force is pretty limited. I don't even feel it, though it's become apparent that it does feel me." Though to what extent was the Force and what was his biological engineering was still up for debate. He nodded once as they reached the training room, walking towards one of the racks to take up one of the training sabers in hand. Lit it to examine the color. Green.

Seemed like today was good luck, then.

"We'll start with the basics, then. From what I've read, it's about using strength and speed to counter an opponent's strikes. You want to be offense or defense first?"

nGPMKK4.png

Listening to what Padawan Learner Aris Noble Aris Noble had explained about his limitations when it came to using the Force. It left Tyron thinking that not everyone is skilled in using the Force. However, doesn't mean they won't learn and train themselves to grow. The Besalisk would be willing to help anyone that's struggling.

"Huh. Strange. You can't feel the Force but it feels you. I wouldn't mind helping you with using the Force if you want Aris. It is our ally. Binds and penetrates into everything we can feel, hear and see all around us."

Tyron has no idea the background of Aris but if he can do anything to help a fellow Padawan Learner he'd do it without hesitation. Afterall, Aris is helping the Besalisk with Lightsaber Combat. He watched Aris approach one of the racks to grab a training Lightsaber hilt and ignited the Green blade of it.

Headed towards the same rack and reached out for a training Lightsaber hilt. Taking it off the rack shelf and gripped the hilt in the palm of his dominant hand. Ignited the blade from the hilt as he thumbs the ignition button. A blue beam emerged. Turned his attention to Aris getting ready to begin.

"I'll take defence. Speed and strength applied to perform counters? Alright here we go."

Tyron walked into the training arena stood at the opposite end from where Aris Noble Aris Noble was. The Besalisk got into the Jedi Ready - Defensive Neutral stance. Placed his two upper hands to grip the hilt while ignited. The blue beam humming as Tyron was preparing himself to face the Grandmaster's son in a spar session.

swQZVZB.png

"That's not something that will work, but I appreciate the thought." Outside of an all powerful outside force, there was no changing this for Aris. He'd long become comfortable with as much, had no desire to even change it. It's not like he was broken, after all. He lifted his saber overhead, both hands gripping the hilt as he watched Tyron. Then he stepped forward.

It was a full Falling Avalanche, with Aris not even holding back as he brought the blade down. His strength was monstrous, well beyond what should be possible through augmentation through the Force. While he couldn't use it to lift things with his mind, his true skill with it was clear as day.

DJEM SO: FALLING AVALANCHE

orXB6xv.png

Tyron waited as this was his first spar against Aris. The quiet and calm throughout the training arena set a presence between the two Padawan Learners. The Besalisk watching the Padawan lift his Lightsaber blade overhead, a two-handed grip was noticed being around the training hilt. Tyron braced himself.

It came the offensive notion from Aris as Tyron watched him take a step forward and raised his own blade defensively to interact against his sparring opponent. The overhand power blow was coming down hard. Tyron noticed that there was lack of augmentation used in the Force by Aris but he moved as if he did.

The Besalisk wouldn't cower away and his species nature kicked in fully. If one listened closely. There was a growling coming from Tyron as he stepped forward channelling his own full strength to defend. His saber blade lurched out forwards vertically performing an attempt to block or parry the blow incoming.

"Argh! Mmpph." Tyron may lack experience against Aris but he has three other arms and hands available.

The Besalisk's training Lightsaber blade did make contact with Aris' blade but it was swatted aside due to the power and strength Aris possessed. Didn't stop Tyron from doing something maybe Aris wouldn't expect.

He did take a good amount of the blow that was the Falling Avalanche manoeuvre where the blade of Aris' training Lightsaber was burning the skin and flesh of Tyron's left shoulder. However, it wasn't going any further the Besalisk had extended his lower left arms and hands to form a triangle, bow-shaped arc where he caught hold of Aris' wrists.

Tyron was enduring the burning pain sensation but knew this was a spar and Aris was wielding a training Lightsaber hilt. He'd be cut down and dead if it were a real combat scenario.

There was a scary look of dedication and focus in Tyron's eyes. The fury and tenacity bubbling away as if he was using both pain and strength to fuel his spirit in not giving up.

"Nice move. An overhand strike that focused on power and strength right?"
Tyron asked as he grunted from pain. Was this his Besalisk nature kicking in to welcome a challenge and fuel off it?

He waited to see what Aris Noble Aris Noble would do or say next to him.

swQZVZB.png

It was rare for Aris to show emotion. His expressions were always muted, as if he didn't know what it was to smile, to glower, to pout. In combat, though, he always found himself grinning. A part of him just enjoyed the thrill. Even as he'd brought down the blade, he found himself grinning yet again. Was it too much? Was it a problem if he enjoyed fighting? He wasn't sure, and he wasn't looking to answer that right now.

What did matter was when the blade came down and Tyros took the blow, his grin had gone entirely. There was an expression rarer than any other on his face now. Annoyance. Disappointment.

"You only learn terrible habits if you don't treat this properly. That wasn't a blow you should've taken like that."

DJEM SO: FORM V

orXB6xv.png

nGPMKK4.png

The moment came between both Padawan Learners as Aris Noble Aris Noble had enacted the Falling Avalanche blow against Tyron. It may not have been the best and suitable idea of defensive strategy but this was training. Tyron didn't know what Aris was capable of and the encounter was a first for the Besalisk Jedi to experience Form V - the Djem So variant.

The grin that Aris had and it faded when Tyron intentionally used a defence that made it look like the Besalisk lacked intelligence in regards to Lightsaber Combat. No far from it. He was allowing his body and mind to learn from this experience with Aris. Now he felt and knows the sheer strength physically his opposite Padawan Learner and fellow Guardian hopeful was capable of.

"This is training after all. I'm learning and building up in my Jedi training. Aris."

Now it was Tyron's turn to display his own raw, physical strength. Still had a hold of the wrists in his two lower left hands. The muscles within Tyron's arms, wrists and hands began to raise Aris' hilt higher moving the Lightsaber blade from the Besalisk's shoulder. He wasn't using the Force to do this.

It all came from within himself, running deeply and Tyron was cutting lose for a brief period. This was confusing for an opponent of Tyron's. Why did he just take a blow like that. His shoulder being burned but then there was this adrenaline sensation coursing through Tyron.

"Still want to continue as the offensive role or switch?"
Tyron asked Aris as he saw the annoyed and disappointed look in his face.

A spark ignited a fire of willpower within Tyron and it was slowly building up. It was time to no longer hold back, no longer dwell in self-doubt and give it his all, everything. Something dangerous was coming.

The atmosphere was gradually changing between the two Padawan Learners and especially surrounding Tyron. There was a beast waiting to come out and it was inside of Tyron however not a wild one. No. A calm, controlled, determined and focused mind stems over the Besalisk.

A look of determination and dedication was present and Tyron fell silent. Not having mockery or taunts as ways of infiltrating someone's combative mindset. It was absolute raw intelligence and strength at bay here.

A low pitched whistle filled the air as a light breeze of wind swept between and throughout the two.

swQZVZB.png

"Training to get yourself beheaded."

Aris's arms didn't move. The unnatural might he had was well beyond normal limits after all, to near super human levels of strength. He relented though, not wanting to burn or hurt Tyron any further. He took a breath as he moved to his initial spot, letting his mind relax once again. Focus. One way or another, he'd use it for proper training on his own.

"We can switch for now."

It didn't seem like Aris was phased by Tyron and the two separated from one another as the human Padawan Learner went back to the initial spot. Tyron taking a few steps back to readjust himself. A brief and quiet sigh came from the Besalisk. The adrenaline had faded into nothingness. There was no challenge any more and with his Besalisk nature now settled. Tyron wasn't going to go all out any more.

Expectations were high when he first landed on the planet New Cov and believing another aspiring Jedi Guardian was wanting to learn, practice and train. It no longer felt or looked like it. This reminded him of the 'lesson' he apparently underwent back on Tython with Jedi Master Caltin Vanagor Caltin Vanagor in the Outer Grounds of the training facilities at the Jedi Temple. Just theory and Tyron did all the practical aspects.

"If that's what you think. You underestimate me already Aris."

Tyron said as he adjusted his stance taking the Offensive Neutral positioning. Getting ready to deliver a Falling Avalanche manoeuvre against Aris. The strength Tyron displayed earlier was gone and so was his mindset in wanting to go all out.

It wasn't due to the blow he had taken prior. No. It was the lack of any motivation towards the training. When this was over the Besalisk was considering to leave New Cov and go elsewhere to learn, practice and train alone. The Jedi he has met so far haven't shown anything he had heard or read about in his findings.

Something wasn't right and Tyron wasn't finding any of the teaching or training in the Jedi to show a stance against any Darkness that can strike from anywhere. Ever since his encounter with Darth Virelia Darth Virelia that no Jedi has ever approached him about. He wasn't going to bother or share things with fellow Jedi any more.

Alone. Just empty. Lack of faith and trust in fellow Jedi around him. The day Valery Noble Valery Noble inducted and introduced him to the New Jedi Order. Didn't seem like it held up for the long-term any more for Tyron.

The Besalisk only has Jedi Knight Kaleleon Kaleleon as his master currently. Perhaps Tyron was going too fast. He seemed lost and unsatisfied with how he has been progressing as a Padawan.

"Alright."

Tyron held his stance where he was comfortable though that motivation and strength earlier was gone. He was just wanting to finish up in learning Djem So and pick up the other Lightsaber Combat Forms on his own with how the atmosphere felt and seemed here in his perspective.

Like how Aris performed the manoeuvre he took a step forward with his off side foot and leg to let the dominant foot and leg power through to bring any strength he allowed to deliver a Falling Avalanche. A two-handed grip on the Lightsaber hilt as it came down from a vertical angle and motion.

The blue blade slashing through the air as Tyron directed his aim towards Aris. The overhand power blow was making its way to the Padawan Learner but there was no strength behind it. The technique may be there to deliver the power strike against Aris but Tyron held back in placing any of his physical Besalisk might behind the blow. He was expecting Aris to counter this. He watched and waited to see.

Afterall this Padawan Learner probably had more teaching and training than Tyron - the Besalisk only been here a few months or so. Older than Aris - no reputation or stance within the New Jedi Order.

Tyron was all natural. No mutations or experimentation done to him. Only things that were unfortunate for him was the loss of Ojom being his home and seeing his parents be captured - enslaved by Mandalorians or probably the Hutt Cartel. Adopted by a clan where he was only regarded as a brute for them to use.

Now a member of the New Jedi Order apart of the Galactic Alliance regime. He thought a new home was found but it was gradually fading away. Enduring more negativity than anything positive in regards with the Jedi training he is supposed to receive and undergo with any fellow Jedi.

The blue Lightsaber beam was swung through the air and headed for Aris but it stopped. Tyron wasn't going through with delivering the full motion of the Falling Avalanche blow. He stood waiting in silence.
