Commander Firestorm

ARC Trooper Out of Time, Commander of the Unbroken
Firestorm looked at D'vok, "So your here for the mission, too. Must be one heck of a job if he needs this much firepower." Firestorm deactivated his lighsaber and put it back on the magnetic surface of the back of his belt.

D'vok shrugged. He hadn't thought about it. In the glory days, entire units would show up just for an apartment building raid. This was no building. This was no ordinary building. It was massive!
"I mean, I guess."
D'vok turned to the two women.
"Are you guys 'republic killin' machines' as well or are you just here because it's the new cool place to be?"

Kat'Lariah Syphex

Don't. Even. Think about it.
Kat'lariah was getting very, very annoyed. "Okay people, are we here to get chit done or are you all gonna stand around and have a phrikin' tea party?" This was why Kat hated working with large teams. When she'd some how received a message from a member of the legendary Havok squad, that's who she'd assumed she'd be working with. The clones and trooper were manageable at least capable of taking orders and strong fighters. The Mandalorian on the other hand...well as long as the woman didn't try to jack her ship or blast them all away, she wasn't too bad. But the crazy chatter box? That was a whole other issue. In truth, Kat appreciated a little crazy. But this woman must've been dropped on her head from orbit as a baby...at this rate she wasn't sure how long she could resist shoving them all in an airlock and spacing them.

"If that's everyone, we get on board and make way. Then we can make plans..."

Kaiden stared at Kat'Lariah for a while. When inquired about his rank, he shook his head."Not anymore."Commander, Sergeant. Had a lot of ranks before. But that was before. Before it was very different. Before he had a team. Now, he had a ragtag group of ne'er-do-wells and shooters that could help him out. He hoped they were up to the task.

"Do you have a preferred name, or the one your parents gave you?"He said to the frigate's Captain, placing a single hand on his hip. Kaiden marched up to the frigate, leading the charge to board the woman's ship.

The woman strode next to ''Not-Anymore' military man, who clearly had not forgotten his past, or the skills he'd attained. "Just call me Kat, Mr. Rohn. You sure this bunch are the ones you want? Seems to me like they talk better than they fight."

The interior of the frigate was bland. Typical grey durasteel of the One Sith, whom she'd jacked this and a couple other vessels from with @Kimiko. That had been a fun time. Sterile filter air filled their lungs as they walked. First stop would be the armory. Whatever they didn't want to carry with them at all times they could store here.

(ooc no idea what i was doing.)

" AR-CE113 slave to the ship and fallow understood?" Kami commed the TAL as she joined the others on the friggate.
the ship was a mass of trchnical no no's at least 7 power relayes hooked to power converters without dampeners and buffers
it was enougth to make a techhead cry.
" this thing is a karking deathtrap. look i'd love one of my guy's to gice this thong a once over before it explodes. who put's a compressor on a flux compactor?"

Commander Firestorm

Firestorm overheard the statement by [member="Kat'Lariah Syphex"] and pulled out one of his blasters, looked over at a small can sitting about 50 yards away and snapped off a shot, hitting the can dead center. "I wasn't made an ARC trooper for no reason." He placed the blaster back in its holster.

"One Sith nut-for-brains, that's who. Probably one of the reasons they bit it too." Kat said, responding to Kami's observations. The Bone-Shatter hadn't gotten its Kathol overhaul quite yet...

The ARC Trooper shot a can roughly 50 meters away. "Didn't say they did." The woman stopped just before entering the frigate four quick shots rang out. Faster than most could see, she'd shot from the hip, hitting the same can into the air, the three following shots sending it higher and higher into the air. The large revolver returned to her holster. "Didn't say you're better either."

"I was just making a point that I'm not just some untrained pushover. But enough talk let's get this mission going, I've got a large ship in orbit I'd rather not leave unprotected too long, though I doubt anything short of a small flotilla of star destroyers will bring her down." He followed [member="Kat'Lariah Syphex"] and [member="Kaiden Rohn"] onto the ship.

As the shots rang out Serenity would let out a small, child-like scream, jump, close her eyes and put her fingers in either ear on her head. About ten seconds later she would look directly [member="Kat'Lariah Syphe"] and sigh heavily. The can would have landed directly next to her feet.

"If you're going to have a shooting contest, invite me next time!"

She would turn to the wall that the can was on, unstrapping her blaster-cannon. It would whir before letting out a volley of shots, basically decimating the can and ripping it to shreds and laughing maniacally while doing so. She would turn to the two, hug Zaps and then scream out

"Did I win? Did I win?! What did I win? Tell me! Tell me!"

She would look up to two with child like excitement over-coming her, as if she had just got full-marks in a test. Only difference is, she was shooting a can. For some, a small achievement, but Serenity liked to revel in all of her's, and especially liked when she was rewarded for doing well.

As they walked towards the ship she would keep repeating phrases similar to

"Tell me what I won! Did I do good?"

" Not if there power converters are like these. it'll bring it's self down. " Kami said as she brought out her yo yo swinging it up and down playfully.
" If we are quite finished with the crotch measuring? i'd love to get to this gig."

"You're gonna shut the hell up right god damn now."The former Havoc Squad commander pivoted on his foot to face [member="Serenity LoveHeart"]. He looked between the people, then back over to [member="Kat'Lariah Syphex"]. He sneered."I rarely find people I like working with anymore. All I need are trigger pullers. Bad guys aren't the best, but they have numbers."He said, turning to face Kat. She reminded him of someone long ago. His face crossed with painful memory for a split second.

He motioned for Kat to follow. He'd boarded enough Sith ships to have a general layout of the ship. He made his way to the bridge, hopefully with her in tow."Coruscant. Take us to Coruscant."He turned and stared at the woman."You're going to have fun. We have a lot of bad guys to kill."He said with a wry, weary smirk.

The captain of the Blazing Shard followed her employer, nodding to a couple crew members as she went. The Shard survived on a skeleton crew. Barely enough to make it. A couple engineers, a navigator to assist Kat with dangerous maneuvers, and of course enough people to fire the guns. It wasn't much but they'd survived so far.

"Copy that. Set course for Coruscant." Kat said as she stood before the view port, arms crossed. The navigator, a blue skinned Twi'lek barked an affirmative back and began to input Coruscant's galactic coordinates as the atmospheric thrusters engaged, the frigate rumbling as its massive weight was lifted from dry dock. Slowly the scene from the viewport pivoted upwards, from Nar Shadda's cityscape to the smoggy blue sky above.

The Blazing Shard began to live up to its name as it exited the atmosphere, hull burning upon, red and orange flames licking the view port before it all suddenly faded away to the inky blackness of night, illuminated by the thousands of stars and vessels passing lazily by like asteroids.

"Coordinates set. We're clear to jump."
"Do it."

" Coruscant? never been i hope the weather is nice. look [member="Kaiden Rohn"] im going to be doing some much needed repares to this thing as we head ti the location. this ship i dont like to use the term timebomb...buuuut. " she said pulling her head out of a maintenance hatch.
" and the goof news is i have a lot of ways to kill those lots of people."

"Check in with Dutch," Kat told the purple-clad Mandalorian, "And don't touch anything unless he tells you. Anything."

As the ship leapt into hyperspace the stars around then disappeared into streams of light, passing by as if they were a thick cluster of blaster bolts careening by them.

"So what's the plan?" she asked of [member="Kaiden Rohn"].

[member="Kami Meran"], [member="Serenity LoveHeart"], [member="Commander Firestorm"]

"There are three major criminal elements operating in the sub-levels of Coruscant. The first two, you don't need to worry about. The third one, is the one we're going after."He said to [member="Kat'Lariah Syphex"]. He eyed [member="Kami Meran"], before continuing own with his plan. He had no idea where the others were, but he was sure they'd turn up. Probably exploring the ship."Mostly Trandoshans, with a name in their language that I have yet to learn. I just know them as number three. An old friend of mine and I severely crippled their operation not too long ago. Right now, they're on the defensive and trying to rebuild, recruit, and figure out what happened. In that timeframe, I want to wipe them off the board entirely."He cracked his knuckles, setting the Havoc Squad helmet on a nearby console on the bridge. The aging man settled into a seat.

"They're held up on at least two different platforms. One, maintains most of their personnel and weapons. They're guarding them well, but-"He ran a hand through his hair."The other platform contains whatever is left of their operation. Credits, blackmail information, drugs, stolen vehicles-"He pointed a finger at the Captain, continuing his schitck."That's what we really need to focus on. So, one team goes one way, the other goes another. I'm personally going after the guns and the guys. That's where most of the fight is at, but the real objective is the second platform. So, I'll need to divide up the teams evenly. And, since you seem the second smartest here, I'll let you have a go at a plan, if you want to take over an objective, or you can tag along with me."He rubbed his hands together. He seemed oddly excited for killing people.

OOC Note:

I deeply apologize. The holidays wrapped me up (badumtiss) more than they should've.

(All good. I accept your apology and pun as payment for your misdeeds)

"Flattery will get you everywhere sweetie, except onto that platform." said the red-headed woman, "Even if this 'criminal element' is crippled, we're still heavily outnumbered, and on top of that, I'm sure the other crime syndicates know that their competition's been taken down a notch. They might have the same idea as us." the bounty hunter pointed out. "While normally I'd have no problems sending a turbolazer round to decimate the platforms, I don't think the Coruscanti will appreciate that, even if half the planet is rubble now. And the Outback wouldn't be happy with me either." Already this mission seemed to have issues. She'd been hired for a job and she'd see it through no matter what, but, she could at least increase her chances of surviving it.

"There's no way your plan is as barebones as what you just told me...right?"

Commander Firestorm

Firestorm came up to the two, "What about a surgical strike or a stealth infiltration of the compound and take down their security measures, maybe even override some of the blast doors so we don't have to deal with their full force all at once." He though it was good to help give a suggestion since their options were limited at best.

"I have an E-web and a speeder. That was the main plan. The second was to really, just- kill them all."He was used to barebones planning. It was how Havoc Squad operated for so long. Members would interject their ideas, like Firestorm did. It was a solid idea, he hadn't thought of it- though the compound only had a few blast doors. Still, twenty less guns pointing at him sounded pretty damn good. He smirked over at her. Yes, the last two would come. They'd be taken down, but these jackasses present didn't need to focus on them right now. "I was planning on using a lot of explosives, and the E-web to thin the ranks. Then fire and movement to wipe out the rest of them. They aren't soldiers, and this level of aggression is going to take them down a notch. Or three."He wiped his lip, and cracked his neck. It popped- loudly.

"So, so far-we cut off most of the guys behind the blast doors. Waste the majority of them on the platform, then push in. I don't care what the Coruscanti think, they're not strong enough or will be able to respond to this level of attack. In fact, I don't think we'll see a response at all. They'll think it's gang on gang and won't come near it until it's all over. We do this fast enough, and we can get away before the response gets there. Or, we can slip by."He tapped the table, looking at each of the individuals.

"I'm still open to other suggestions."
