Strengths:

Description: In the days of the Galactic Republic, Jedi Aces flew a number of specialized starfighters, the J-1 Light Interceptor being among them. With the fall of successive democratic governments in the galaxy aligned with the Jedi, the plans and resources for the original vessel have been largely destroyed and made unavailable.

To address the growing problem of maintaining the old fighters, and continuing to provide a similar interceptor role for the Jedi Aces, the Jedi Academy Network approached Santhe Corporation with several of their aging ships to inquire about an upgraded version. Santhe obliged, maintaining a similarly-styled hull made from a composite material to save weight, with a redesigned internal system with many modularized parts, drawing from experience with their Omnitec System. This resolved many of the more glaring issues of the J-1 types, while retaining many of the original's characteristics.

The J-2 remains a very barebones interceptor aimed at speed and maneuvers, relying heavily on the skills of the Jedi Ace in the pilot's seat. It's lack of room for fancy computer systems or shields, plus its respectable ordinance, makes the J-2 Light Interceptor a deadly craft for both pilot and enemy.

This looks pretty neat. As a heads up, it's technically slightly overpowered by a rating, but I think that having to use a hyperspace ring for hyperspace travel largely balances this out.

Omnitec System

Just to clarity's sake, for both those who may use this or encounter it, how many Omnislots does this ship have?

After looking more closely at the Omnitec System and talking with the sub writer, I stripped it out of this ship in favor of a more generic modular description. I hope that helps make it more clear for anyone who wants to use the sub.
