  • Big Things Come in Small Packages: Equipped with both an astrogation buffer as well as a micro navigation computer, the J-2 Astromech goes above and beyond in its function as a secondary or even primary navigation device for small or cheap vessels or starfighters. Combining the computational and storage capacity of the two aforementioned devices; the J-2 sets itself apart from other astro mechanic and navigational droids by being able to hold a much higher number of hyperspace coordinates in its memory banks.
  • Certified Wingman: The reason for the 'mech' in the term astromech, the J-2 Astro Mechanic Droid wields its own multitool and splicing equipment. Allowing it to support lone pilot and other forms of starship and naval operations beyond just navigation and the flying itself. In many instances, like their predecessors and astromech droids of other brands, larger ships will employ dozens of J-2 Units in-order to provide ship-wide maintenance and in some cases act as auxiliary electronic warfare and splicing defense via the use of their inbuilt splicing systems and counter-ECM systems.

  • Hardly a Guard Dog: Far from a battle droid, the J-2 Astro Mechanic Droid is a largely civilian-oriented robot, intended to assist lone pilots in smaller ships or starfighters when it comes to navigation, serve as automated engineers and in many cases companion droids to their owners. With no default armaments of any kind build into the droid, the K-3 is unable to defend itself or its owner from any potential aggressors. While Fukashi Electric would argue it is unnecessary, with a galaxy as dangerous as this one you never can know.

  • The J-2 Astro Mechanic Droid is a bipedal exploration and companion droid developed by the Fukashi Robotics division of Fukashi Electric, a subsidiary of GalactiCom Holocommunications which itself is a subsidiary of the wider NAKAIOMA Group. Ordered and produced as part of Fukashi Electric's new line-up of civilian droids, the J-2 Unit was designed to primarily be a functional and reliable backup for ship navigation and guidance systems, as well as provide secondary or tertiary support for a ship's other systems. Fully fluent in binary, the J-2 was also built with companionship in mind (albeit to a lesser extent than other droids on the market built specifically for that purpose) and to serve aboard larger vessels as non-organic and expendable maintenance crew. Though marketed as and generally intended to focus on navigation, the J-2's intelligence and high memory capacity has allowed it to be used by its owners for a multitude of other tasks, both naval and otherwise. Built in much the same way astro mechanic droids have been built for centuries, the J-2 Astro Mechanic Droid has two long legs with rocket boosters at the bottom of each one, a round dome head which houses its brain and other vital systems, and a small cylinder shaped body. It can be customized aesthetically (and in some cases in regards to software) however the customer pleases.
