Its a Mando party! (Mandos/Open)

Night began to fall as more guest stumbled through the gates. The Mado'ade fully drunk now were engaging in a wrestling tournament, another few in a boxing tournament inside a ring. They were both simple, circles drawn in the sand by the fire. There was cheers and whoops, the occasional song busted from drunken bellies. Jack was content watching it all. He clapped hands with Vahn, recognizing him from the Casino where he'd been arrested once.

"Nice to see you buddy."

His eyes kept roving, till he spotted James and company. The ring was growing more and more. Jack grinned, figuring it might be time for him to throw his hat in the ring, and face off in a little friendly spar. An adept at Teras Kasi he loved to duel. Warriors blood was a trait of his culture and he was no stranger to it.

"Who wants to face off in the ring with O'l Jackie boy!" He roared across the clearing, spilling ale as he spread both hands wide. His eyes glistened in the flashing embers of the nearby fire, a wry grin on his plastered face.

Kiber smirked and shouted back across the ring. "I will face you Raxis!" the Mando stepped confidently into the ring and took a fighter stance and showed off some of his moves. He was in good shape, and often practiced sparing with Nagurra during his off time from missions for James Justice and company. He got closer to Jack and practiced his well-known intimidation routines, that would strike fear into the heart of any slaver or associate that he came across. "I won't hold back you know?" he grinned and held out his hand in a friendly bet with Jack.

James saw the female move to the bar. She was alone. And there was alcohol. James shouldn't. James couldn't. James--

"I will be right back, darlings," he said with a smile to his daughters. "Behave yeselves, I'll be checking in on ye in a few minutes."

He moved towards the bar, the sun had set somewhat earlier than he had anticipated. However, he was ok with that. The fiery red light flickered off his leather jacket as he moved closer. It reminded him of the time he had fought against the Mirilan Genocide done by the Primeval. They had set flames to the homes, burning some of the children in their beds. He could still hear the screams of the mothers when he went to bed sober. He had saved a lot of lives that day, all by himself. That felt like long ago, he thought, back when Justice Shipping had been his ship, him, Reed, and whoever he could find who was psychotic enough to follow him on these wild jaunts.

He reached the bar and grabbed an ale, settling in, leaning on it. He gave her one of his charismatic smiles and raised a glass to [member="Katalyn"], "Su cuy'gar, mesh'la dala," the polygot said easily slipping into the local language. Some days it paid to be James Justice

Jack stepped down from the porch and removed his Jacket. His only clothing was his trousers and a dirty white tunic. He removed his gunbelt and then drank the rest of the ale, casting the cup into the tall grass. A crowd began to form whooping and hollaring. There was about to be a legendary battle.

As he stepped into the dirt ring he cracked a devils grin at Kiber. He knew he could fight, and was interested to see how he matched up against him. He took his arm gripping tightly in the warriors shake and then backed off to the far end of the ring. Both hands flexed a few times and he did a few short hops, amping up his blood pressure.

"Jack Raxis v.s. Kiber Thaxton, no weapons, no armor, hand to hand. First to tap out the other wins! Gentlemen you may take your corners, begin at the sound of my cup dropping!" The drunken Mando'ade ref roared.

He stared him down now. A lifetime of scrapping in Nar Shaada had taught him some valuable moves, combined with his formal training.

"I wont take it easy on you either. Good hunting Vod."

The cup dropped, Jack closed with Kiber, squaring up with fists raised and feet shoulder length apart. He would let the other go first....

Gray snapped out of his thinking, having had enough of that bottomless tarlok pit of regrets. He looked around the party and noticed the wrestling match that had kicked up. He didn't know much about Mandalorian custom, but that activity screamed his dad to him so much be typical. He also noticed a man who had found his way over to a young woman and was doing too good of a job charming her from just a hello. Then there was the two girls sitting off by a ship. That caused a frown to form on Gray's face.

Gray drank the rest of his drink and set it down. He headed over to the two young ladies and smiled as friendly as he could. He said when he had gotten over to them, " It looks like you two are a pair of fish out of water. Mind if I join you for a bit? Kind of in the same situation myself."

Gray could feel how anxious the girl was now that he was closer to her. It wasn't the usual 'oh she looks anxious' kind of feeling either. It was that weird way he sometimes felt it like he was also experiencing it as well. Thanks again to his mom's family and their oddities. He chose to sit down next to her keeping an appropriate distance for a stranger to sit with a young girl. He keep up the smile as he did and said, " You seem like you aren't enjoying yourself so much. Don't like parties or don't like being near so many new people?"

"It's just this many tall people tend to freak me out." She says finally meeting the mans gaze. She thinks about how her anxiety had been getting worse but now looking at this man it seemed to lessen "Whats your name? How old are you?"

Gray could feel her calming down a bit and was glad to know that. He just kept smiling as he replied back to her, " My name is Gray, and why don't you try to guess my age? Should be fun."

[member="Brooklyn Justice"]

Gray chuckled at her response to his question. He forgot he didn't look old after all the mentions of him being an old man he had gotten lately. He smiled and said, " Yeah, I'm in my 20s. I know it's not polite to ask a lady her age, but how about you?"

[member="Brooklyn Justice"]

Gray says, " Thirteen? That makes you exactly half my age. Isn't that interesting." He noticed something else was bothering her, but this time it was actually from looking at her and not feeling it. He wasn't sure what it could be though. After a moment he adds, " A credit for your thoughts?"

Gray reached behind her ear and pulled out a credit. He held it out for her to take. He didn't know what possessed him to do the trick meant to entertain young kids for this 13 year old girl, but it happened and he just had to deal with the immense inner shame of it.

Gray thought about it for a moment before he said, " Well we could go watch the wrestling match. We could go out there and just dance. OR we could go watch that guy over there hitting on that younger woman." Gray pointed towards each thing as he named it off until he was pointed towards [member="James Justice"] .

Gray whistled when she mentioned him being her dad. He said, " He doesn't look old enough to have a daughter your age. Wish I hold up that well later in life. Although if dad was any indication I won't" He stood up to his full height of 6'4, dusted off his duster, and took her hand. He smiled at her and said, " I hope you know how to dance, because I'm going to need a good teacher."

[member="Brooklyn Justice"]

Gray smiled at her as warmly as he could and said, " Well then we better get out there so you can show me how to dance. And try not to be too rough with me alright?" He gave her a wink and waited for her to set the pace to the dancing area.
