STRENGTHS
- Stealthy Destroyer: The ISTBS variant of the Standard Tie Bomber is the pinnacle of this particular line of bombers, with stealth capabilities, heavy defenses, and an extreme level of armament making them exceptionally dangerous to all types of foes.
- Very Limited Deployment: Due to it being the peak of the line and with borderline experimental technology, deployment of this model of the bomber is restricted to specialist squadrons, typically aboard other stealth ships to maintain the element of surprise.
- Vulnerable Without Escort/Uncloaked: Its low speed and maneuverability make it vulnerable to hit and run attacks by more maneuverable and quick starfighters, as such one would be wise to escort it with interceptors or fighters if it is to decloak for extended periods of time.
The ISTBS is the stealthy and advanced variant ISTBM Tie Bomber of the produced by Bastion Holdings for explicitly military use. It has been upgraded with an absurd amount of weaponry, an excellent stealth system, and strong defenses, making it exceptionally difficult to shoot down before it manages to deliver a deadly payload or two. It is recommended for longevity that it be escorted, although this is not mandatory if one's objective only requires one or two runs as it can ward off strikecraft attacks longer than any other variant in the line.
