Description: Authorized by the Imperial Grand Admiral and both the Emperor & Empress, the Imperial Star Destroyer III is the reincarnation of the Imperial ship of the line, an upgrade to the series as the ISD II was to the ISD I. Thus, boosting more weaponry than its predecessors, specifically adding a light version of the proton beam cannon discovered within data files on the research station at Kad V, something originally meant by the researchers as a defensive weapon against asteroids that might crash into stations in hazardous locations such as their own.

The raid on the station at Kad V also led to the more hefty shield unit placed on the vessel as well, one of the Kad V's engineers alternative ideas for the station's defenses against asteroid or other hazards once more. However, it was determined that while the ISD would be much better than its predecessors, there were other projects in mind for funding as well. After much debate though during meetings with the chief engineer from the Imperial's shipyard overseer, several military staff, and even the Grand Admiral, it was determined that future carrier and command ship designs would be developed through alternative means since a Valc VII ship graveyard was discovered.

However, while the ISD III is superior to its predecessors, it does not appear as frequently. Boasting much more firepower than many other ships of its class, the ISD III is a rarer sight than the older ISD Is & IIs that still appear in the Imperial Navy. Holding the same hanger space as its predecessors constituting to its size, the ISD III holds many of the trademarks apparent in previous Star Destroyers. It even outguns the dread Darkblade of the One Sith's as well, though considering the ISD III is 600 meters larger and a whole class above the advanced Light SD its not as big a surprise. Although the Darkblade does clearly hold defensive superiority with more reinforced hull plates and boasting two shield layers to the ISD III's single layer.

Intent: To develop an advanced ship of the line Star Destroyer for the new Imperial Remnant

You know I love you right? Could you link canon tech into your submission pretty please with sprinkles? I ask for the people not like me who will look at this and not have a clue what you're talking about. You can also PM me if there is a problem.
