Premise
The Imperial Knights answer to the Crown, however there is a natural inclination for these force users to follow the will of Empress Kista Fel more so than the Emperor Vedarric Pallopides. A natural inclination that grew into a schism thanks in part to a recent failure of the Imperial Knights to effectively suppress and eradicate rebel Crinan practitioners. The reason for that failure was partly to blame on an Intelligence mishap.
The Marriage of Fista Fel to Vedarric Pallopides being purely political gave rise to a strange pressure emanating from the Imperial Crown. As the scandal caused by the failure of proper intelligence operations widened the growing schism between the imperial monarchs, a call to action was needed to initiate a change on how the two intelligence branches operated.
Consolidating the Imperial Intelligence Bureau and the Imperial Security Bureau under one single agency was the new goal. Answerable directly to the Imperial Crown the new agency founded its name under the combined goals of its predecessors, the unwavering dedicated to protection of the remnants of the Imperial Empire. Thus the Intelligence & Security Bureau was formed as the Imperial Military's Intelligence Branch. As each of the agencies and sub departments began to merge, two particular sub organizations formed under a much stronger banner.
The Emperor decreed the creation of the Inquisition Program.
Born of the old Imperial Security Bureau’s Force Tracker Squad and the old Imperial Intelligence’ Inquisitorius; Now known only as the Inquisition exists as a training program for non-force users to gain specialized training in defeating rogue force users inside Imperial territory and defeating hostile force users on the battlefields of war. All Officers of his and her majesty's Imperial Military are welcome to this program if they are a non force user.
A check and balance that remains to be seen if this will crack the Crown or mend the schism in the Imperial court.
This is the story of the founding and training of these individuals who would soon gain the moniker
Inquisitor of the Empire

With the meeting of the Crinan Royals having concluded, with wonderful results for the new armor Regent Industries had developed, I now took up the initial start of this program. The curriculum was destined to be critical in maintaining a balance within the Empire. Imperial Officers and Agents would need this training in order to better deal with the dangers of powerful enemies such as the Sith Lords, Jedi Masters, and other force users that existed out there.

Not only had I been assigned this duty to oversee the initiation of this new program, but I was going to be the first to participate in it. The intensive interrogation of a few rebel crinan practitioners had shown that those not gifted with the force were at a disadvantage.
The events of that dark hour of interrogating Aurelia Grata would continue to haunt my sleep. A rogue force user who’s potential to drift to the extremes of the force proved far too dangerous to not be addressed. In the Imperial Remnant only a few Imperial Knights remained after the tragic battle called the Pariah Affair. Thus our ability to counter the force users of other organizations required those of us not gifted with the force to be prepared.

My thoughts were disrupted as the Lambda Class shuttle touched down outside Fort Sigma. I glanced around at the other passengers. All young officers from every branch of the Imperial Military. Navy and the Storm Corp along with a few Army officers. Ranks for this training were to be left at the door. From this point on they would all be treated the same.

I noticed that everyone was glancing in my direction, even the storm troopers seemed a little perturbed. My attire was quite different from the normal grey uniform. I was wearing the Imperial Legionnaire armor with a black robe that fully covered the armor from view. A black hood shrouded my head. The Imperial Insignia was resplendently displayed on the back with a modest and smaller insignia on the upper left torso section of the robes. My recent promotion to an Agent of the Crown had its perks, one of which was the authorization to use high grade technology. Only a few others had this authority. One of whom was the Bureau Chief Val Salazar, a Colonel who up until recently was in charge of the old Imperial Intelligence’s Force Tracker Squad. Now with the consolidation and merging of the two respective branches of intelligence into one Chief Salazar would ultimately be in charge of this new Inquisition training program. I however would oversee its initial start and ensure that the edict and decree of the Emperor was carried out.

Captain [member="Maximilian Vinticus"] had arranged for some outside trainers to aide in the initial development of this program. Captain Vinticus was a notable officer who had displayed a talent for taking the Initiative. The loading ramp lowered and the candidates began to file out.
Today would be an interesting start to a new order…

Lieutenant Rell sat inside the shuttle as it landed, dressed in her Imperial uniform with her usual sniper rifle slung over her back. She had heard about this new form of training and decided to sign up for the first round of lessons. While most of her combat missions so far had been of the support type, long range sniping that did not typically put her in any form of danger, she was eager to serve the Imperial Remanent in any way possible. So here she sat, ready for whatever lie ahead. The door of the shuttle opened, and she rose with the rest of the trainees and filed outside. She moved into position in the line that was forming and stood at attention as she awaited further instructions.

Max stood out amongst the huge gathering of Imperial Military personnel and couldn't help but give a large grin. Despite his cynicism these sorts of events always reminded him of the patriotism that had been the highlight of his young adulthood.

The officer tech had gotten into contact with the former CIS Dread Guard CO through a friend of his in the Corps. From there he'd contacted the Lt. Commander and gave mention about training. It'd progressed naturally from there.

The Lt. Com had apparently been pleased with the initiative and had made some vague hints towards some sort of special reward. Something about having read through files and personality types.

Max didn't have a clue what the hell the guy had been hinting at.

Regardless, Max was excited to train.

Now they were just waiting on the trainer.

They want me to teach their boys how to slot the bathrobe brigade? Lovely.

The thought had gone through Calico's mind over a dozen times on the trip to the Imperial Remnant's little hovel on the Outer Rim. Cal couldn't fault them for it--there were too few available locations for the Imperials to have chosen from. The galaxy was a big soup of idealists trying to enforce their way of life on other people. It didn't leave much room for the little guys.

Luckily for the Imperials--no, that was an arrogant thought-- Calico had no qualms with the Imperial doctrines. He would never fight for them, of course. He was entirely against the leadership of an Emperor of any kind, even if he was a normal man and not some space wizard. He would, however, happily train them to put the bathrobe brigade down.

The less Jedi and Sith there were in the galaxy, the safer his little boy was from their influence. His Belbulab set down on one of the landing pads in Fort Sigma. When the canopy opened, he strode out of the ancient space craft with an air of contempt. Better that the trainees fear him than like him. His lessons would stick longer. The higher ups, [member="Maximilian Vinticus"] and [member="Caius Flavian"] for example, knew he had no true issues with the Imperials.

He was dressed in a simple set of durateel armor with bits of black fabric fraying behind him. The armor sported a kama, and a hood to cover his face. His expression was obscured by a helmet of rather simple design, though the hood that hung over it helped to give him a more sinister appearance.

His usual DC-17 rifle system, and DC-15 side arm were both attached to his hip with a tac-belt.

"Good evening gentlemen. Ladies." He boomed.

"Good Evening Sir!" Came the resulting boom from the entirety of the Stormtroopers gathered in the large space, Maximillan and his company included. They'd been instructed by their officers to treat Calico like they would any of their own teachers. It helped ease the complicated politics associated with rank and place those learning on the level they needed to be at for receiving instruction. The group gathered had an electricity about it.

A large section of trained Imperial Military could train other Imperial Military and would likely cause certain force using groups to think twice before entering Imperial Space.

This had potential to be historic for the isolationist nation.
