STRENGTHS
- Beskar Steel: Forged from the Beskar steel mined from the subjugate Sith-Imperial world of Mandalore the armor plates are capable of withstanding high grade impacts from kinetic and energy weapons.
- Take-All-Comers: Given its innate resistance to most conventional weapon-systems and high modularity the armor is fit to be utilized and worn in most any climate and combat situation.
- Few Models; Limited Run: Given the complex engineering within the internal components and the rarity of the materials used ; repairing and maintaining the armor can prove difficult.
- Super Heating: The fire resistant under layer provides a padding between the user and any sudden bursts of flame however super-heating the Beskar outerlayer can prove lethal and 'cook' the wearer alive within the plates of heated metal.
- EMP: Strong electromagnetic pulses can fry the accompanying Acumen HUD and severely mitigate the user's combat effectiveness.
After his front-line action in the Battle of Kintan immediately following his encounter with Beskar clad Mandalorian warriors on Cathar ; Irveric Tavlar sought to upgrade his field equipped armor set to one far more capable of protecting the combat General from most conventional weapons seen on the battlefield. With his right arm severed and the throat of the SIth-Imperial offensive nearly severed then it became apparent to Tavlar to equip himself behind thicker plating for future campaigns if he sought to lead from the front.
