If you can convince major faction owners to ban members from their factions for acting salty in either private or in public I'll support removing drama (not replacing, because members are going to read into it the same way). It was a forced addition to the invasion rules because major faction owners and their admin teams weren't doing their jobs (I'm not sorry to anyone reading this who was a MFO at the time, it's the truth), just like the invasion rules in general were created because major faction staff teams were exploiting each other to strong arm the other via create-your-own-terms-and-conditions freedom they had.
Yeah, it's a culture/social problem, and yes, this is the equivalent of slapping flex-tape over a leak rather than actually fixing the issue, but that's because the only fix is to hold major faction owners accountable for the actions of their members. If a major faction owner doesn't want that, then they should 1) step down, or 2) kick the members who act like problem children.
Until major faction staff feel it is their job to make sure their members are acting appropriately they will continue to let this problem fester, and while the drama rules only make them feel like they need to hide it from the public, and while that may only be a half measure, it's a small step in the right direction. If you remove the drama criteria then there needs to be a way to remove major faction owners and their staff teams when they allow these problems to return.
