If the frigates are providing escorts to the dropships, which i see no mention of in that post. Absolutely, Viper will hang back. But it really looks like they are providing escort for hunter vessels in the space battle. waiting confirmation....

Edit: Wait, #72. That is Iry's last post. And I still have my question about that. It appears as though she is handling the space battle, not the drop ships attack. If it was mis-worded, then fine. but it translates to me as escorting the scyth-class cruisers looking for targets of opportunity.

It would be hard to get a frigate through all those defenses. but while some drops might make it down, many more won't. Remember that. Naboo is heavily defended.
