Interest Check: Rancor Squad

Maybe you have something similar to this already but as a n00b I wouldn't know.

This is an idea that popped into my head earlier and hopefully this will work because currently I'm waiting for some threads to develop in order to do work with Ko.

Rancor squad. I don't know which faction they would be for, but essentially it is a ground force elite squad of four or five people that do all sorts of crazy missions into enemy territory. Hell, they could be mercs for more mission availability. I'm looking for 3 or 4 other people interested in doing this. I imagine the structure to be
Demo
Slicer/Pilot
Commando
Force User
Surveillance

To be clear, demo is essentially someone who makes things go boom boom bang and probably has some heavg weapons. The slicer/ pilot is someone who can fly or drive pretty much anything and can hack into systems easily. The commando is kind of the leader and has some pretty badass weapons and probably some sort of jetpack. The Force user is pretty straightforward. Surveillance is someone who sits back amd can call the shots as well as alert other members of the team. They also double as a sniper.
So anyone interested?

The idea has been attempted a couple times, the main trick is getting the commitment/dedication level up high enough to make such an inter connected group work. They generally don't last as a result.

One way that worked on Fans was attaching them to a particular ship of their faction that was also a highly interconnected group of people. It worked wondefully and had a lot of threads and offshoots (Novogorod for you Fans people)

Possibly. Though I was part of that group [member="Antera"] mentioned. Didn't even make it past the first thread (though the Great Site Crash of November '13 complicated it). Either way, it's really hard to form a solid group because a lot of people here don't have the commitment.

I'll give this proposal some thought, but I'm not going to toss my hat in the ring yet.
