Hey, y'all. I'm all jacked up on Les Miserables lately, and figured I'd see if anyone felt like a nice, casual, violent uprising against the Galactic Republic. Any takers, idea-makers or disenfranchised bakers want to weigh in? Still in the planning phase, I'm not making any promises, but it should make for some fun roleplay if it pans out.

My current working idea is that Aleidis' religious extremism follows it's logical end, and she attempts to abolish the ineffective Senate; appointing the Jedi council control over the legislative (And maybe executive) branches of the Government.

Basically: "the Jedi know best and should be running the show."

The cartel has held a grudge against the republic since they assisted the vitae on Apatos, among others.

Perhaps the rebel protest could be funded and fueled by cartellers? For basic reasons to expand the cartel spice and slave markets.
