After what seemed to be months of absence from her standard galactic duties, Natalie had sort of got back into the swing of things. Sort of being an important quantifier.Under an unknown alias, with only the artificial intelligence known as "Melody" understanding her true whereabouts, which right now was on the sprouting ecumenopolosis of Humbarine. Isolation in an underground vault she had gotten a hold of many years ago had diminished her people skills, and even though her only contact was that of a computer that she herself had designed and was its master, she found even speaking to it to be a chore at times. As she stumbled her way through the streets of the city, memories of what had happened prior to her self-exile began to rush through her mind, though as she usually did, these were quickly suppressed by her inept mental aptitude. This cycle continued for her entire journey as she slowly but surely made her way to the destination that was pinging on her communicator.
With nothing but a perhaps inappropriate garment and the aforementioned electronic device, she stumbled into whatever building the IMF was sending her to, not quite realizing she was about to meet with the most important individual on this planet. Still, she hoped they would be a little kinder than the last person she had spoken to, that being the people who had murdered her fiance.
Strangely, despite being on a Republican owned planet, whom she was nearly certain discriminated against dark side users, Natalie felt quite at home, like perhaps the facade that was being put on was exactly, that, a facade. For now, she kept such feelings to herself, checked herself in and awaited to be called into whatever administrative office was appropriate for the Senator.
