STRENGTHS

• Tough: The INF-93 armor was engineered to be able to resist most attacks. With angled armor plates to deflect incoming blaster and kinetic rounds and inbuilt shield generators, it can handle nearly anything someone throws at it, at least once.
• Armor Swaps: The Gription panels on the bodyglove allow for easy armor swaps. Damaged armor segments can be hot swapped in combat. However, this quick armor panel swap does not include the sensitive electronics and shield generators built into the armor. Should those be damaged, an extensive armor rework will be needed at a base.
• Modular: The modularity of the INF-93 makes it ideal for special forces. It can be repainted to better suit specific environments. It can also be equipped with its detachable backpack. This backpack doubles as an extended jetpack, allowing for more fuel to be carried as well as added thrust. The hardpoints along the armor allow for weapons to be mounted or other equipment as needed for the mission.

WEAKNESSES

• Jack of all trades: The suit is designed for special forces soldiers who are not tasked with extended combat deployments. While it can withstand most blasters, kinetic weapons, and even lightsabers, it is not built for extended and continuous damage. A lightsaber can be deflected by the armored plates, but it is not built for prolonged contact. Maneuverability is key. Long-term deployments without proper maintenance of the armor can also cause electronic issues.
• Coverage: While heavily armored, your joints must be exposed to allow movement. The inbuilt shield generators will stop blaster shots, but kinetic weaponry or lightsabers have a high chance to damage the bodyglove and/or the wearer.
• EMP/ION Vulnerability: The INF-93 has a built in de-ionizer, but with the amount of sensitive electronics in the suit, continuous EMP or Ion damage can leave the suits electronics fried.

DESCRIPTION
The INF-93 Inferno Armor. Designed and built in conjunction with the Mahporeem Imperial Remant, this armor was created to be a special forces soldier's best friend. Its Blood-Red natural color, derived from the Corellian Bloodsteel used in its creation, makes this armor unmistakable.

With the constant influx and changing environments of Inferno's missions, the Special Forces group needed something that could be utilized on land, sea, or in space, and still be durable enough to handle whatever was thrown at them. The INF-93 aims to answer these issues.

This armor provides excellent all-around protection from nearly all threats. Angled plates allow blaster and kinetic projectiles to glance away from the wearer, as well as lightsaber strikes. The armor has many built-in subsystems that give the wearer a multitude of ways to deal with whatever threat they face.

One such system is the Echani shield generators. While they only work to defeat blaster bolts, that is the weapon most utilized in current combat environments. The shield generator will handle nearly any blaster bolt that comes its way, and if it's not a blaster bolt, the composite armor plates will defeat the majority of whatever comes after.

The wearer also has the privilege of wearing Beskar-forged vambraces. While not the purest Beskar, such as found in a Mandalorian's Beskar'gam, the vambraces were still pure enough to withstand and deflect lightsaber strikes.

While very durable, the armor is still relatively lightweight, resulting in almost no loss of mobility. Due to this, however, the armor shows one of its weaknesses. While the composite armored pieces can withstand damage and keep the wearer alive through most attacks, they are not designed for extended front-line warfare. Concurrent damage or exotic weaponry like lightsabers will defeat and destroy the composite plates after successive hits.

Modularity is also a mainstay of the INF-93. With multiple hardpoints along the wearer's bodyglove, armor can be swapped and weapons stowed with hardly any thought. The detachable backpack and jetpack booster were a favorite item during the armor's testing. The backpack allows for further fuel and higher thrust on the jetpack. It also provides additional storage for extra ammo, power cells, medicine, gadgets, or anything else that fits in its storage areas.

With a multitude of tools, weapons, and defensive items built into the INF-93, it is set to be a staple amongst Inferno Squadron and other special forces soldiers.
