In search for guidance.

Kixi sat down beside a tree as her master had motioned her to do. Kixi rubbed her left hand slowly over her eyes and face and then stopped. Looking up at her master she spoke slowly not very sure of herself. "Yes Master. I believe I saw the Sith. They were the same creatures or beings as you described in your story from your childhood. I am almost certain that what I just saw, were the same as what you described as murdering your parents". She paused, again confused.

"I used to have more of these visions before. However after the lightsabre crystal finding mission not that long ago with Master Heavenshield, when I spoke to my father through the Force, much of these visions stopped. Except the ones with the Sith. I do not know why or what they mean, except when it happens it actually feels like a past memory?". Kixi again shook her head as she spoke. She felt confused and rather embarrassed at her episode. "What ever these memories or visions are, they feel real and those Sith, they're very scary". Kixi almost looked like a child as she spoke those last words, almost unrecognisable to anyone else that would know her as the once fearless Sajnen warrior and daring scientist that she had been. She was spooked by these Sith.

"There is another thing Master, in several other of these memory/vision sensations, I've felt that I've used the dark side of the Force before. To achieve my goals. It feels so real that I can almost touch the dark side. However if you ask me now to tell you when that was, I would have no recollection. It's crazy". She continued eyeing her master, concern showing in her eyes, "I don't want to fall to the dark side, I can't, I want to serve those in need, help people and defend those who can't from evil and tyranny."

As she followed his direction Kixi sat down next to a tree. George bent down, one knee resting on the ground as he looked at the Padawan, she was clearly shaken but it was definitely something odd. George had seen the strength of the Sith in his presence, but never attacking someone through their thoughts. It wouldn't be impossible to do, would it? I mean the Jedi are able to connect to one another and get feelings of both. I am sure its just an evil version of that. He thought to himself as the Padawan spoke about the visions and how they affected her in the past.

"I have no doubt of what you have seen. But you must remain strong, do not fear them, for whilst you are with me they can not hurt you." He replied as he once again placed his hand on her shoulder. Reassuring that she was safe. As she continued to speak of her past experiences with the visions it became clear that it was out of his league. He was a rookie Knight and this went past his knowledge of the force. He thought it would be wise to speak to either the Grandmaster or Master of the Order. One or both of them might have experience and understand what is going on in Padawan Kixi's head. "Don't worry my Padawan, you must not let them get to you. For whilst you are in your own mind you are safe. And whilst you are with me you are also safe." The more she spoke the more upset she seemed to be. It was taking its toll but George knew if she was to get through his she had to know that she was not alone and safe from harm.

"The darkside is strong, but your must choose to follow the light. It will tug at you, but you must be strong enough to push past it. No matter what has happened in your past it is there, the dark things you have done can be fixed by continuing to let the lightside spread throughout the galaxy. And I'll be there to help you every step of the way." George was worried about his Padawan, but he was sure that she had good inside of her, she followed the lightside of the force and it flowed through her. He just hoped it was strong enough to displace the darkness within her also.

Kixi looked up at her master as he spoke his words of comfort and reassurance that he would protect her. The day was still cool as a soft breeze blew past and tickled the side of her ear and hair. That felt good and soothing, but the words of her master had calmed her down from her ordeal and had soothed her the most.

She slowly got back on her feet and took in a big breath of the cool fresh air. "Thank you Master for your support. I'm sure in time we will get to the bottom of all this". Kixi's bubbly smile and coolness had returned as she put her hand on his shoulder. "I am okay now. That has passed. I don't want it to impede with our training. I am fine to continue with whatever form of training you had had in mind for us coming here into the forest".

As the feeling from the Padawan changed from fear to somewhat happy George knew his words had helped the situation. Her face changed to a big smile and with that a domino effected began. George began to smile as the Padawan showed her intentions to continue the training, she had recovered and was back to her bubbly self again. That is what made George smile. "Alright then, but let me know if you want to finish up. There is no need to exert yourself too much in the early teachings." As he reluctantly agreed he too made his way to his feet and began walking the now shorter distance to the new training ground.

As they made their way into a clearing in the forest it was time to train. George came to a stop plotting himself down cross legged on the ground, motioning for his Padawan to sit opposite him. "Telekenisis, I take it you've either heard of it or had some experience with it?" George asked as he closed his eyes and began meditating. It was time to centre ones self before taking on the the trees around them. Anything and everything was available for George and Padawan Kixi and teaching Telekenisis with lots of objects made it quite a bit easier. "First of all we need to feel the force, please join me. Focus and let it flow inside of you." He spoke eyes shut, feeling the Padawan sit across from him.

As Master and Padawan reached the new training ground, Kixi's master motioned her to sit down in a medative state. He asked her if she knew what telekinesis was. "Yes Master, I know what it is and have some level of skill in it already. Of course like with everything, there is always plenty of room for improvement", she answered him as she sat down and smiled.

Kixi shut her eyes and breathed slowly as she concentrated on the Force. She could sense everything around her, the living forest, as she stretched out with the Force. She could feel her master beside her who could feel her. She in turn could feel him as Kixi allowed the Force to flow freely within her and then connect with her master. She felt good, but also overwhelmed as she continued meditating patiently with her master waiting for his next instruction.

As they both sat meditating on the force George could feel it was time. Time to get to it. The forest was large and the trees, even larger. It would be a good test for the Padawan to lift such an object. Fortunately in the week prior a storm had came through, uprooting some trees, one of which was located right next to where they had set up. "Telekinesis isn't just to lift your lightsaber, or push a foe. It can be used to move a wide variety of things. As you've said you've had some experience with it lets see how you go with this tree." As he pushed both his arms out acting as if he was physically lifting the tree. He concentrated and let the force flow. It gradually lifted from the ground and slowly moved around them. Sweat dripped down his brow as he continued to maintain his focus. One little slip could see them both crushed. As he gently placed the tree trunk beside them it was within easy reach of the Padawan. He wasn't sure how well she would go, but he would be able to get a quick estimation of how far she has come. "Now it is your turn. Keep focused and let the force flow." His famous last words.

Kixi could feel the flow of the Force all around her. Her ability to at least sense the Force and manipulate it to at least some degree she had learnt how to use from a very young age from her father. This exercise didn't seem like it should be to hard for her. Well at least that's what she thought. Her master had just lifted a somewhat large tree and swung it around them. Kixi had connected with him through the force and could sense that although her master was building up a sweat, he had full control of the object. Now he placed the tree beside them. Now it was Kixi's turn.

Kixi focused her Force flow that was flowing through her and extended it to the tree. Once she had accomplished that and felt one with the tree, she summoned all her energy and easily lifted the tree up. In fact she allowed it to go so high up, that it was now levitated well above the actual standing forest trees. She held it there for several seconds and then suddenly began to faulter. She had exerted more energy than she had. Her body began to shake violently as she struggled to control the large object well above her head. She needed help, and soon, otherwise the tree would dangerously come tumbling down. "Master I can't hold it for much longer, please assist me", Kixi cried out telepathically to him, confident he could stabilise the tree before Kixi dropped it from such a large height.

As Padawan Kixi began to lift the tree it moved with ease. It seemed effortless for Kixi, great news for George, the strength in his Padawan was good. She already had control of the force and was able to focus it on a large object. Brilliant. "Nice keep it steady now." He said as the tree lifted higher and higher into the air. Until it moved above the standing trees beside them. She was going well, it sat there for a moment before something went wrong. Padawan Kixi shuttered and lost focus, she was loosing control and it was not going to be long before it dropped on them both. George instantly bounced into action. "Alright, keep for your focus." He replied telepathically as he focused on the tree. Aiding his Padawan as the pressure on Kixi dropped. It was under control and he gently brought it to the ground. Right beside them just as before.

"That was good. Although you lost it at the end you managed to lift it well into the air. Breath, in, out. Keep your concentration and let the force do the work. Slow and steady, no need to exhaust all of your energy in the first few seconds." He spoke aloud as Kixi composed herself after the ordeal. "You are coming along well now. Maintaining your focus and keeping your wits about you and you'll make a fine Jedi one day." He said confidently as he smiled. He quickly pulled his bag that was slung around his shoulders as he pulled out some food and two bottles of water. "Here you might need this." He said as he threw a bottle of water towards Kixi. Hydration was key. And after all the energy she used some food would be good too. A few sandwiches he prepared earlier. Nothing special, little bit of meat, some greens in between two sliced of bread. Close enough. "Here have this too, regain some of the energy you just used up." As he threw one of the sandwiches over to her as well. He quickly opened the sandwich and began to eat it. His appetite never died. Scoffing down a sandwich, too easy.

As Kixi's master assisted her with controlling the hovering large tree and then putting it back down to safety, Kixi took in a large breath of relief as she took in the words of advice from her master. She had gotten way too excited in doing this exercise. Telekinesis was somewhat one of her strong points in terms of skills. She had wanted to show her master just how good she was, or probably better put, just how good she thought she was and in the end screwed it up needing his assistance to avert disaster. "Great going Kixi", she thought to herself, "You're Hajkon's useless no good daughter", other thoughts of insults from people from her past popped into her head.

She finally snapped out of it and turned to her master who had offered her some food and drink. She was feeling thirsty due to the excess exertion of her energies and at the same time hungry as it had been an extremely long and eventful day, and she hadn't eaten a single thing since she had gotten up to meet up with her master. "Thank you Master O Rourke", Kixi softly spoke out. "Thank you for assisting me, I got to excited and jumped too far ahead", as per most times, Kixi was bubbly as she spoke, however signs of embarrassment were slightly evident in her tone of voice as she spoke. "Oh and thank you for the food and drinks", Kixi added as she scoffed down the sandwich her master had given her. She hadn't realised until now just how hungry she had been. "I would like to do more telekinesis work Master, but of course if you believe that is enough of that for a day, then we'll allow it. I'm a bit zonked out at the moment anyway."

As Kixi accepted the sandwich and drink it was gone. Not enough a blink was enough time, she must have been hungry. George thought as he too finished his sandwich. With a big guzzle of water the bottle was almost empty. Well Nautolans love water, especially when they are out of it. She thanked George for the food and drink. "No bother Padawan. I always come prepared, I always get hungry." He replied with a little laugh. She wanted to continue with the training, but its getting late and the sun was sure to set soon. Time flew whilst training, it almost seemed like one minute that sun was rising, the next it was setting. "Its getting late and you've done well in advance what I thought you would be capable of. Plus we have a fair hike back which we should get back before sun down. You know what its like out here. Don't know whats lurking. Once we get back however, there is a nice little bar I goto. If you like we can head there for a few drinks to unwind? Unless you would like to rest up and we can start fresh tomorrow?" George was a fairly relaxed Master, he did enjoy drinking after a hard day and that he would do. However, the next time they go out, training might not be what it is for.

Kixi was by this stage exhausted. "Yes Master I agree totally with you. We should start heading back before it darkens". Kixi gave her master a quick half smile and smirk, "Although I don't really fancy calling it a night. Let's unwind a little at that bar you said you go to. Would love to kick back a little and chat. We could discuss today's training and get to know each other a bit more while we are at it". Kixi stretched her legs as she got up. "Lead the way Master".

"Awesome there is a nice little place called docking bay 94. Has a nice polity vibe, can get away from the Jedi 'strictness'." George replied as they began to walk. He underestimated the amount of time left before sundown and half way through it turned pitch black. The forest held many secrets, most that appeared at night. Not really the ones you want to find out unprepared either. "Alright keep close." George spoke as he looked up at the trees as the leaves were moved by a small creature. Pulling his lightsaber from his belt he quickly engaged it. Lighting the way. "Not too far now, keep your eyes open... You'll definitely deserve a drink after this." He said with a laugh as he tried to take his mind off of what was happening above.

As they reached the edge of the forest the noises coming from above continued, but they were safe now. Managed to get through the forest without any harm. They quickly walked through Voss-Ka on their way to the bar. It was quiet as many were up early tomorrow for various things. "Here we are." As he pushed the door to the bar open. He walked in and the bar was pretty much empty, a few people in the corner drinking their sorrows away. But it was still a nice bar. George moved up towards the barkeep, and sat down. Motioning for the Padawan to sit next to him. He turned to the barkeep. "Ah one Corellian whiskey and something for the lady." He gestured for the barkeep to listen to what she wanted.

As master and padawan made their way back, it quickly darkened. Kixi's master would instruct his padawan to remain close to him as he was concerned for her safety. Just in case any lurking night predators had any other ideas for the two Jedi. Kixi wasn't at all concerned however. In her past she had found herself alone in the dark in many similar environments. She had excellent night vision and her ability to use the Force to enhance her vision was generally above average. Nonetheless it had altready been demonstrated several times during the day's training, that her current abilities were not quite to the standard she thought they were at. On one occasion for example, her master had had to bail her out of potentially serious trouble when she had gotten too cocky with her telekinesis abilities. She therefore thought the better, as she quietly stayed close to her master's side as he would then light up his lightsabre to use it to guide them back to civilisation.

As they existed the forest, both would then walk through Voss-Ka and head for the bar. Given the late hour, it was rather quiet in there as Kixi's master motioned his padawan to take a seat beside him. Kixi sat down without hesitation. She was zonked from the day's events. She had definitely been looking forward to this. Her master would then order a Corellian whisky and then gesture to the barkeep to ask Kixi what she wanted. Drinking a lot of alcohol wasn't a strong point for Kixi. Infact doing most things without the aid of the Force were weak points for her. "I'll have the same as what he's having", Kixi said out in a soft tiresome voice. She thought to herself, "Stuff it, I deserve this after today's hard work".

As the barkeep quickly headed off to gather the drinks George couldn't help but look at his Padawan with a smirk. "So will you trying to keep up with me?" He said with a little laugh. George had regularly visited the bar during his time on Voss-ka. More so since graduating to a full Jedi Knight. He felt not so much as a youngling anymore. But an adult. Who could have a drink. And as any young adult finding ones love of alcohol comes at a cost. But eventually drinking became second nature for him. Maybe something to do with growing up on Glee? But either way he loved to drink, and if his Padawan wanted to keep up. She was going to have a bad day.

As the barkeep brought over the two drinks he gave a nice nod and returned to his other duties. "Thanks mate." Thanking the barkeep as he lifted the glass taking a nice sip. "Ahh just what you need after a long day." The day was done and it was time to relax.

With all the get going Kixi had for her, with all the achievements she had achieved in the past, she always had had one short coming. That was that she was naive. Perhaps this was due to her young age. Afterall she was very talented, and yes she had a variety of special skills and had lots of potential. However her lack of experience, that was something that only years of work and actually having experienced things, through good or bad, that simply she had little of, generally got the better of her. And it would be the case tonight if she tried to keep up drinking with her master. Yet there would be one difference tonight. That was that her master actually cared for her and wouldn't just leave her here after she undoubtedly would become intoxicated and drunk after she tried. "What better way to gain experience", she thought to herself.

She picked up her drink that had been placed before her, and instead of sipping on it like her master had just done, she downed it instead and then loudly put her glass down on the bar's bench. "Ahhhhhhh, that was soothing, let's allow another one mate", she smiled with a cheeky look on her face. "It's all tickety-boo here", she continued more confidently. The situation however would soon change when that alcohol she had just downed like a shot, would reach her brain, and then she would down a second and probably third drink and become very drunk, as Kixi was one that couldn't, or better said, didn't know how to hold her drink.

As George sat there his Padawan decided that his methods were too slow. She picked up the glass and emptied it in almost 2 seconds. He was a little taken back by it. "Wow." He was a little shocked, he said with a laugh. "One drink, two drink, three drink. Floor." A little phrase that seemed to sum up the way she was going to be heading. He picked up the glass and quickly poured it down his throat. With a shake of the head he felt better. The alcohol went through his body immediately taking effect. "Damn, you are the spice of life girl." He said slightly intoxicated. But the night was young and it was Master verse apprentice, on a somewhat better level. "Another two thanks keep." He said raising his hand giving his position to the barkeep. He could only imagine the thoughts running through the barkeepers head. Fek, this is going to be a long night with these two.

The barkeep placed two more Corellian Whiskies on the bench. "Cheers Master", Kixi exclaimed as she downed her next drink. She could slowly now feel the effects of her previous drink hitting her. A bit of dizziness began kicking in. Kixi naturally tried to fight it off and not make it obvious to her master. She wanted to be able to fight the effects. The way she saw it, she wanted to be good at this. "What if someone drugged me", she thought to herself, "I gotta train myself to resist the effects". But her idea of reasoning wasn't going to save her now from getting drunk. It wouldn't be long before she found herself in shambles, but for reasons she couldn't even undrerstand herself, she didn't care. She looked at her master, clearly feeling wonky and giggling as she spoke, "So how's another one Master".

[member="Kixi Rajki"]

The barkeep brought over another two for the Master and Padawan, He parted with some words of wisdom. "Don't go too hard young ones, you will want to wake up at some stage tomorrow." But George wasn't one to listen to a barkeep about drinking. Wake up in the morning who wants to wake up in the morning? He had clearly misheard the barkeep. But he didn't care. "Cheers." He cheered as he lifted the glass, smashing it into Kixi's glass before downing the whole thing.

By now he was feeling the effects of the first one. Dizziness was setting in, but it wasn't changing a lot, he could still see, he could still talk and more importantly this big blue Nautolan could still drink.

Padawan Kixi could also be seen suffering from the after effects of the alcohol, but much like her master, she didn't seem to care. If anything she was almost more anxious for the next one than he was. Before he had a chance to think about. Well even think in general she was ready for the next one. "For sure my Padawan. You best be ready." He replied with a massive smile. "Swing another two this way old buddy." He called out to the barkeep. He was in the stage of awesomeness. Nothing could bring him down. Everyone was his friend now, even if they didn't want to be. With a sigh the barkeep dropped his head and wondered back over to the pair, dropping another two glasses of Corellian whiskey right in front of them. He didn't say a word this time. Knowing they would be spent for nothing. Neither of them cared, nor would they properly comprehend what he would be saying anyway.

The barkeep placed 2 more drinks on the bar. Kixi was by this stage at a point where she would talk more garbage than one could find in a garage dump. The barkeep didn't say a word as he put the two new drinks down. As he turned away, Kixi yelled a few words to him. Clearly intoxicated. "Yeah beat it you stupid sod, go on, sod off". She laughed heavily as she banged her hands on the bar and momentarily put her head down. She lifted her head up again and starred at her master. She made a stupid naughty childish face at him, as she then burst out into laughter just looking at him. She picked up her drink and downed it like she had all the other ones and then slammed her glass back down on the bar. "Yeah that feels awesome!", she yelled out putting both hands in the air as if she were raving. She almost fell off her bar stool as she did that, but managed not to as she caught herself by grabbing on to the edge of the bar. "Oooops", Kixi laughed, her blonde hair now a mess and covering her face and eyes as she spoke. "Oh look at me Master, I look like a stupid little git, don't I?" Kixi by now was badly intoxicated that she was insulting herself. In fact she then said a few other things in Züncålidiom, her native language and not even realising it, that her Master wouldn't even undrerstand her. She continued to just laugh it up as her master and her continued drinking.

The barkeep placed the drinks down but Padawan Kixi was getting a little rowdy. But George couldn't notice, he was just as bad. Not so much the insults. But intoxicated enough to not even notice. He heard what she said but didn't believe it was rude or offensive. Pros of alcohol right? "As long as the whiskey is flowing I am happy." The Nautolan slurred with a big smile as he closed his eyes momentarily. Long enough to miss the whole near miss by his Padawnan. An 'oops' was all he heard. No idea why. But at that moment his eyes opened, his Padawan still sitting right in front of him. This time a little scarier than usual. Her blond hair had fallen into her face. Leaving her hidden. "You look funny Kixi." He said laughing.

By this time his drink was still sitting on the table. Kixi didn't even notice that he hadn't drank it yet. But George wasn't as drunk as he showed himself to be. Yes, he was intoxicated, but not to the point of no return. He decided it was time for him to stop. Seeing in about 10 minutes he would have to carry Kixi back to her quarters. He waited to see what her reaction was. Would she get another one? Or would she decided to turn in for the night? Either way George would have to help her back. Those legs of hers weren't really the best mode of transport currently.
