In Faith we Rise, In Doubt we Crumble(Seraphina Shel'Tah)

Varus smirked as he took a big, messy bite of fish, noting the woman's realization that she hadn't been minding her manners the way she ought to, though he certainly didn't care. He thought it was kind of cute that she cared so much about the way he saw her and in what regard he held her. It was endearing that she would even go through the trouble of acting proper just for him, especially given their circumstances. For now, though, he wouldn't press the young woman, knowing that it might not be the time or place to do so. He would joke and play as he always did, of course, but he wouldn't attempt to elicit a serious reaction from the situation. At least, not yet.

"Well...", Varus said, stopping himself and clearing his throat a bit as he finished his mouth full. "I suppose we're not going to start running right off the bat. We need to finish up eating soon and start walking, and in about a half hour we'll pick up the pace.", he explained, glancing up at the sky once more as he took another bite of fish. "I think if we push ourselves we'll make it before it gets too dark, but you're going to be more than just sore tomorrow.", he told her, taking a moment to lower the stick and reach over to grab his bottle of water again that he'd filled from the waterfall across the lake. When he did, he popped the cap off, which was caught by it's restraint only to dangle next to his index finger, and took a couple large gulps. He then placed the cap back on top and reached out towards Sera to hand her the bottle.

"Here.", he told her, raising his other hand to take another bite of fish. "You're gonna need this."

The Twi'lek tilted her head back and let out a muffled, involuntary laugh when her eyes met Varus' and she saw him take an oversized bite himself, looking somewhat like an animal himself. She made an effort to correct herself, and nearly choked on the bit of food still in her mouth before clearing her throat and shaking her head. "I'm sorry! Your expression, it made me laugh...I couldn't help it." She then hushed herself and listened to his idea of how to go about continuing on their adventure towards the city. It seemed he had been told some age-old human myth about not running or swimming for 30 minutes after you ate. Didn't that myth die out hundreds of years ago? Are humans still that fragile? She snickered to herself, a small grin bearing a flicker of her condescending alien heritage.

"I suppose we could finish, then walk a bit, before picking things up and making a break toward the city." As his eyes lifted to the sky so too did hers. And as she watched as the clouds gently rolled on she continued watching even as he continued speaking and eating, her eyes moderately captivated by the passing of the time and puffy white pillows in the sky. The pop of Varus' water bottle snapped her out of her day dream and she returned her attention to him. "Me? Sore? Sweetie, I am a dancer, gymnast, and, to my knowledge, the Order's greatest Form IV practitioner. My legs were made for physical activity." She looked up and down Varus' body, as if she were sizing him up. "You, on the other hand, look more like you'll tire first, with all that mass."

Her hand snapped up the bottle as he offered it to her, smirking at him as she took a few sips before passing it back. "We'll see who tires first, winner gets the bed."

Varus had been halfway through a second fish by the time the Twi'Lek had finally stopped talking, which was almost a relief after having heard what she'd had to say towards the end of what she was sharing with him. He rolled his eyes as she taunted him, claiming to be well fit for a run so far at such a high pace. When she did, he even coughed lightly, almost choking on his bite of fish before he finished it off with another big bite.

Soon he laid down the second stick, which was now barren of fish and proclaimed that he was done with a big, deep sigh before he grabbed his bottle of water, pushed himself up from the ground and began to sweep dirt onto the fire. "Alright then.", he said, flicking the cap to this bottle back and lifting it up to take a couple more gulps. "I suppose we should make a little bet.", he told her, turning and looking around the area and noticing that the only thing they really had to take with them was the bag of holocrons they'd managed to salvage.

"Since you're so... light on your feet and since I'm such a lumbering beast...", he said, clicking the cap back to the top of the bottle before sliding it into his pocket. He then picked up his shirt, pulled it over his head and pulled on his jacket again, pulling at the neck to adjust for comfort. "...you get to carry the pack of holocrons to make it more fair.", he said, smirking and glancing over at her as he reached down and thumbed the top of his hunting knife to make sure it was in it's place.

"and if you win...", he said, narrowing his eyes at her in a confident way. "...I'll give you that kiss that I know you want.", he said, his body tensing up a bit, legs tightening as he dug the bottom of his boots into the ground beneath him. "Readysetgo!", he said, all in one word, his body becoming a blur as he turned and bolted off into the woods, putting considerable distance between he and his Pink companion.

Sera followed suit as Varus gathered his clothes and slipped back into her boots and coatdress that had now been dried by the warm rays of the Sun while they sat eating and talking. By his request she also picked up the bag containing the holocrons to appease his bet that she couldn't outrun him. A sly grin cast over her face as she shook her head in response to the terms of this playful bet but she spoke not a word, leaving him to wonder what was running through her mind. Instead, she finished the last bite of her food and dropped the stick to the ground. As she readied herself by adjusting her boots, pack, and position Varus blatantly cheated and ran off into the woods in a split second, leaving her in the wake of his trail as he raced through the woods.

The Twi'lek sighed, shook her head, and charged off after him. Her small frame weighted slightly by the bouncing of the holocrons as she remained cautious not to drop them as she ran through the jungle, darting between trees and brush, leaping over large fallen logs and branches, and even a few carcasses of beasts that had been recently slain, either by poachers or predators. With a boost of energy from the Force her legs leaped up into the trees, running along the large branches that extended forward overhead, dropping back down to the ground only when she ran out of trees to navigate atop.

Her eyes caught sight of Varus while she was above, though he was still a couple hundred yards in front of her. If she was going to catch up to him, she would need to cheat also. She smiled as she called on the Force once more to accelerate her legs. It would be the fastest way to surpass him at this point, and that's what she would do. The forest began to pass by at a much faster rate, and his body started to appear closer and closer, her eyes able to make out his clothing and more of his details the closer she got to him.

Her hand would extend, and up ahead, a loud snap could be heard, and a massive branch from one of the large fallen trees would separate from its trunk, and fall across the path Varus was on to hopefully slow him down a bit.

You won't escape me even if you cheat, Shatterstar.

[member="Varus Shatterstar"]

Varus was off to the races and keeping a good pace, and for a time he could only just feel Sera's presence in the force trailing behind him, yet all in a couple of moments her force signature grew, and grew. She was using the force now, her bright light burning hot as it invigorated the woman's muscles, pushing her further and harder past mere mortal speed. Once he noticed what she was doing, Varus too delved into the force, and the burning flame within him ignited, every muscle in his massive body growing thicker as he raced for the city ahead. Even his frame grew more broad as his muscles ached with the pressure of their swelling to allow the force to flow freely through him, but this was folly as he realized his mistake.

At such speed there would be no way that he could avoid obstacles with any kind of ease, which Sera had been cunning enough to use to her advantage. As the huge tree limb fell, Varus glanced up, his eyes taken from his path as he realized her game, and to his increasing disadvantage he had arrived too quickly to the intended place that it was falling towards, and if he didn't do something quickly it was going to crush him rather than trip him up.

As quickly as he could, Varus slowed his pace, hopping up from the ground and landing on too firm, stiff legs that dug into the forest floor beneath him. When he did his boots dug trenches and the grass quickly became mud and dirt as he leaned back and braced the still moving ground beneath him with his right hand. He used his hand to balance himself until the limb fell, just feet in front of him, and when it landed he stumbled into a run again and ran right into the limb, catching against his lower half and flipping over it to land flat on his back with a thump as a tuft of air left his lungs from the impact.

"Dammit!", he called out as he peeled himself up off the ground to stand, reached back with his right leg and kicked off of the tree again to jump start his pace. When he did he fell right back into stride, the force beginning to surge through his body once more as his ice blue eyes glanced back and forth looking for Sera to see if she'd gotten ahead.

[member="Seraphina Shel'tah"]

As the distance was closed between Varus and her, she watched in glee as the branch executed her plan perfectly. And as it crossed his pathway she smiled momentarily as he tried to halt his advance with little success. Her legs continued to carry her along the treeline as she grew ever nearer to him. Then it happened, he collided with the branch and flipped over it like the bumbling oaf he was. Without elegance, grace, or pizazz he flopped over and onto his back as he gasped for air. It was then she felt bad, she hadn't meant to actually hurt him, but she knew all too well that he wouldn't be down for long, and that he had cheated from the get-go, so what was that saying about Karma?

With a quick leap of her feet she catapulted herself from the branch she was running atop to the soft grassy soil below, just meters away from Varus as he cursed, scrambling to his feet and looking around. HIs eyes would catch her pinkish body as she raced parallel to him, quickly passing by with her nimble body and Force enhanced agility. If his eyes caught hers, he would see the devious smile on her face as she winked at him, continuing on past as she then left him in the dust to catch his breath before racing on ahead. The wind would carry her voice this time as she let out a gentle bit of laughter, echoing through the jungle like a masked tormentor. "Not so graceful, huh!? All those pull-ups at the gym and you can't avoid a tree branch!?"

As she pressed her charge, the jungle was beginning to get noticeably less dense, all while the sun overhead began to sink beneath the horizon, the last glimpses of daylight piercing through the trees as it retreated to the other side of the planet. She looked forward again, wondering if they would make it by nightfall. They hadn't experienced any truly terrifying beasts as of yet, but she certainly wasn't trying to stick around and meet any if she didn't have to. Besides, he would just as likely leave her there in the middle of the night, simply to win the bet before she woke up, and she certainly wasn't going to allow that type of shenanigan to go on.

"Try and keep up with me, Shatterstar! These holocrons are soooo heavy!"

[member="Varus Shatterstar"]

Varus only grunted in response as he pushed himself to try and catch up. He surged the force through his limbs and felt that familiar fire of the force burning through his veins as his muscles swelled and his body thickened with a surge of adrenaline. It was like unfiltered energy that coursed through him faster and faster, and each pulse made his swelling form ache as his joints and bones withstood the massive expenditure of the force that he was releasing to push him forwards.

You might be faster, but strength will always have it's uses..., Varus whispered into the winds, allowing the force to carry his retort to the women as he slowly gained ground on the right side of her. When he was close enough, Varus called out to her as he ducked his left shoulder and charged at an incredibly tall standing tree that towered almost a hundred feet above the rest. "Heads up, Pink!", he yelled as his left shoulder barreled into the tree, snapping it in half and weakening it's foundation enough so that it would fall forwards and into the Twi'Lek's path.

He slowed up a bit, but his pace had hardly been effected, and as the tree fell forwards, Varus ran next to it, blue eyes watching it carefully until it had reached an angle level enough for him to run on. When it did, Varus used the force to throw his body up from the forrest floor about twenty feet into the air, brown, dirtied boots landing on the trunk of the tree and continuing up it's length, his eyes then scanning the ground beneath he and the tree for the other Jedi.

[member="Seraphina Shel'tah"]

Running through the scores of trees in the dense jungle the Twi'lek's head turned momentarily toward the side that Varus had approached her on, her eyes catching his in between the passing trees. His mind spoke to hers and all she returned was a short Hmph. Her head turned back to focus on the trail in front of her until she heard him shout out to her before ramming himself like a raging bantha against a massive tree, shattering its hold on the earth beneath it and causing the great thing to splinter and topple over towards her. Her brain did a quick calculation as to where it would land and her current path. She'd only have a moment to avoid being crushed and so she leaped forward and to the right, releasing her focus on the Force enhanced speed as she tucked her arms into a slide for a few meters across the rough ground beneath her before the momentum slowed enough to stand and continue running. The collision with the ground and following slide landed her quite a number of small cuts and scrapes from the brush beneath her and the speed from which she slid over it.

A small wince of pain registered as she felt the sting of the cuts across her arms, chest, and legs while she kept running. Varus had once again gained a bit of distance on her so she called on the Force again to accelerate her pained legs to catch up. Her hands extended outwards as if she were about to wrap them around Varus as he ran, but this would be no sensual hug, but instead a violent pull from the Force to yank him out of his sprint and pull him back and down toward the ground with a devious smirk as she continued to run at her current pace. The sun behind was seeming to be going out of existence, with the final rays slipping through the trees now, dusk would be upon them shortly, and then the enveloping darkness of nightfall. She wasn't sure how far the jungle stretched from here as the trees were too thick to judge any potential end to them.

Strength certainly has its' uses, I can only imagine how much a bantha can carry! All that weight lifting is good for something after all, lifting weight. Her voice would trail off with a quiet giggle as she kept on running.

Varus was on a good pace after having jumped over Sera when the tree finally struck down. However, he wasn't as far ahead as he was before, but for now it was all he could manage. He was as determined to win this playful bit of competition as he was anything, and he'd do everything he could to make that happen, but Sera seemed determined to best him no matter what he did. She wouldn't let him have his moment, though he wasn't aware of her plan to thwart the smile that was creeping across his lips. She had already called the force to bend to her will, and at about the time Varus flashed a confident white smile he felt it.

As if he was being embraced by a herd of pursuers all at one time, Varus felt the force wrap itself around his upper body, yanking him off of his feet as it opposed his forward momentum. When it did, his legs kicked up and he fell back, as if comically slipping on a slick floor. His footing was gone, and there was nothing for him to do now but fall. As if it would help, Varus turned as he fell through the air, reaching out and trying to catch himself on the forest floor that was still rushing past.

Reaching down, either of his hands gripped into the grass below helping to finally slow him as his body whipped into the ground with a thud, the air rushing from his lungs as he landed on his chest this time. He drew in a sharp breath of air only a moment later, and pushed himself up onto his knees, slowly but surely picking himself back up, sluggishly turning and starting back into a run, this time at a modicum of the pace he'd had before as he was still trying to gather his wits.

If I didn't know any better I'd say you actually wanted to win this bet..., Varus whispered, even his voice in the force sounding a bit exhausted as he picked up the pace and tried to at least make it a good race. She was long gone now, however, a speck in the distance for his blue eyes to behold. They were close now, and Varus saw his victory slipping away as those silver building tops finally came into view.

The Twi'lek let out an audible giggle as she sprinted past Varus at lightning speed while he kissed the dirt along the jungle floor beneath him, costing him precious seconds in their race while she continued onward through the dense treeline. The sound of the thud from his body colliding with the ground beneath him made her almost feel bad for him, but then she simply remembered how so strong he was that a little bump with the ground wouldn't likely phase him all that much, and so she kept her pace and continued running with the assistance of the Force on her legs.

I was going to win from the get-go, boy. You were just too naive to believe you had already lost, even by cheating at the start. Don't worry though, once we find our way to a room for the evening, I'll toss you a pillow while you lay on the floor.

Her eyes glanced back to see just how far she had gotten away from him before turning back and realizing she was at the end of the trees. Before her were a few meters of plains before the sprawling city took hold, with a number of skyscrapers piercing the skies as she looked up at them. Her stomach welled with eagerness to see solid architecture for once, and her body longed for another bath and the relaxing call of soft furniture. She turned around and waited for the man to make it to where she was waiting before they ventured into a city unknown together.

[member="Varus Shatterstar"]

Varus slowed down as he reached the edge of the treeline, his bounds becoming shorter and shorter strides until he was walking, one defeated step after the other, and when he finally emerged from the forest he stopped a couple of steps from the victorious little cheater. When he was next to her and finally stopped moving for the first time in a couple of hours, Varus doubled over for a moment, reaching down to and clasping either of his thighs so that he could remain standing while leaning over and catching his breath. He wasn't breathing too hard, but his lower back was sore and his legs were numb, so it felt good to just lean over and gather his breath for a few short moments.

Pushing himself back upright as his eyes peered past Sera and beheld the silver clad city across the fields of green laid out before them, his last deep breath a sigh of relief as they'd finally made it back to whatever version of civilization the people in that city were accustomed to. "I got a head start.", Varus finally said, breaking the short silence between them as he raised his hands and placed them on his waist to become a bit more comfortable. "A head start is a head start. Cheating is just cheating.", he told her, silver eyes narrowing a bit as he started walking again, stepping past her and looking to his right to see that the sun was just now beginning to set.

"I'd say we've got a little less than an hour before it goes down. We can take our time now, but let's not stop. I wanted a shower at first, but now my aching body needs a bath...", he admitted, almost reluctantly as he dropped his hands from his waist and started walking, unable to wait for the relief that the scalding hot water and steam would bring to him later that night.

[member="Seraphina Shel'tah"]

Sera stood by waiting as Varus emerged from the treeline, breathing heavily and halting his sprint next to her. The Twi'lek smiled, holding back a bit of laughter while looking down at the poor little human as he caressed his legs and thighs, keeled over like a drunken pilot. "Adorable. All that strength, all that muscle, and can't pace yourself for a few hours of running? My my, well, I suppose sleeping on the floor tonight will at least be more comfortable than the rocks of a cave, huh?" She tapped her finger against her chin a few times before continuing the prodding. "I hope the accommodations for a bed are at least 1,000 count threads, or perhaps silk? It will be just fantastic to sleep on something extra soft tonight."

Her eyes shifted back towards the city entrance as Varus made up an excuse for why he lost the race. "Look, you can call your loss whatever you want, the fact of the matter is you cheated your way to a headstart, and I used what I had at my disposal to my advantage. There were no rules to this race. You lost, don't be such a sore loser, it doesn't suit you." Her lightly colored tongue slid between the two rows of teeth and lips, while her eyes partly closed, expressing her sarcastic retort.

Looking up to the dim skyline she nodded in response to his desire to head into the city to find both a place to sleep and a place to bathe for the night. "Very well, lead on."

[member="Varus Shatterstar"]

Varus fell silent, allowing the Twi'Lek to boast and joke all she wanted, but as he did he watched her with those piercing eyes he had, which were growing ever more narrow the more she spoke. He wasn't going to let all of this get to him, as she seemed clearly pleased with herself, but he wasn't going to let her keep calling him on something like cheating when she very clearly had just said herself that there were no rules.

When she finished speaking, Varus took a couple of steps towards her, sliding his hands leisurely into his pockets before stopping right in front of her and leaning in very close. He stopped just far enough away so that the tips of their noses wouldn't graze one another and finally decided to reveal what he had to say before they got a move on. "If what you claim is true and there were no rules, then a head start isn't cheating, so let's not paint me the unappealing color, alright?", he asked her before he leaned back up, looked down his nose at her and huffed a bit as he turned and started walking towards the city.

"Besides, I don't remember bed or hard floor being the bet. I'd have taken the floor anyway.", he told her as he nonchalantly began to walk, letting his calm eyes slant to a close as he trusted his feet to keep him on a level, straightened path. "I might pick up heavy things and grunt like an ape, but I'm still a gentleman."

[member="Seraphina Shel'tah"]

Sera leaned back ever so slightly as Varus got uncomfortably close to her face and saying his peace. "Well then. If there were rules, you cheated from the start, so I only made it even again. And if there aren't rules, then I won fairly." Her head leaned back up towards his and looked his face over with her eyes for what could be considered too long, before he pulled back and away from her and huffed his way toward the city. She shrugged and wandered slowly behind him. She could remind him that the terms of his bet weren't exactly agreed on since he sprinted off on his own without giving her the chance to counter his bet, but instead she let it go, and simply walked behind a few steps.

As they walked through the city, they got a handful of strange looks, given that the planet was primarily made up of Phindians, and had a scarce populace of humans, and almost a nonexistent one of Twi'leks. This world had originated as a planet much in the same category as Nar Shaddaa, prior to being overthrown by the Jedi of old and turning to a democratic world within the Republic. However, traces of that underground world never truly left any world it touched, and so Sera remained cautious while they waded through the crowds in search of a place to stay, as well as a ship to board.

"Well, where to?"

[member="Varus Shatterstar"]

"Well...", Varus said as he slowed his pace so that he could walk next to Sera as opposed to in front of her. "We need to stay close and keep our wits about us, for certain.", he said first as he glanced over at Sera, those iced eyes carrying perhaps the first overly serious look they had the whole time they'd been on the planet. He knew she would pick up just as quickly that the games were over, however, so he didn't press the moment too far.

Turning and looking forwards, Varus deflected the glances of many who looked upon them with suspicion and uncertainty as they waded further into the city. They weren't safe until they were in a ship and on the way back to Ossus, though Varus doubted anyone would give them too much grief on a planet like that unless there were some bounty hunters lurking about. Either way, they needed to figure out if they'd be staying overnight or bothering to see if there was any other transports leaving that late in the evening.

"Let's see if there are any more freighters departing tonight. If not, we'll find an Inn and post up for the evening." , he said as he adjusted their path towards the tallest tower in the city. The same one he'd picked out on the horizon when they were miles and miles away from whatever it was the city was called that they had ended up in. "The Phindar transport station", was all that Varus had needed to see strewn across a black sign with those big blue eyes of his.

[member="Seraphina Shel'tah"]

Reaching across her shoulders, Sera pulled the pack containing the holocrons off her shoulder and checked them to ensure they were still safe and secure, reinforcing the clasps before slipping it up and across her back again. Looking down she made sure that her weapons were still well concealed. The last thing they needed was drawing any additional unwanted attention to themselves as they wandered through a city unknown. Jedi were prime targets no matter the world, and with enough credits per bounty to make anyone rich, the incentive was always there, especially out on the fringe of space where their presence was often obscure at best, and non-existent at worst.

"Right. Personally I'd like to get off this rock tonight if possible, I don't feel comfortable or especially safe here. The eyes watching us tell all I need to know, and the feeling is foreboding."

The skyscraper towards the center of the city seemed the best, most logical place to find a suitable ship to hitch a ride from given that it was a transport station. Of course, how they might pay for a lift might prove to be an issue...Sera hadn't quite thought that part of the plan through as of yet, but she continued to follow Varus along the road towards the megastructure with the hopes that he had an idea as to what to do about that already, otherwise they might need to figure something out.

[member="Varus Shatterstar"]

They're made it through the city and to the transport station with relative ease, but they were already being watched, and Varus could almost feel those cold eyes sizing him up. Whether or not those eyes were watching out of sheer curiosity or because they had ill intent for them was something he wasn't certain of. One thing he was certain of, however, was that they had been safer out in the wilds than they were in that city.

"We should have stayed in the jungle.", Varus whispered jokingly with a smirk on his face as he tried to diffuse the tense situation they were in with humor. Despite this, he was being incredibly cautious and he was preparing for anything that might prove another test in their journey home.

As he approached the front desk of the building, Varus glanced back and forth between two Phindians and a human woman before he stopped and leaned over the desk, propping himself up upon his elbows as he draped either of his forearms across one another nonchalantly. "Got any transports leaving tonight?", Varus asked, reaching into his jacket and scrounging around for a cred card that he hoped was still there.

"Yes, but it's a supplies freighter leaving for Felucia to conduct trade with the natives. No passengers.", the woman said abruptly, starting to turn away before her attention was caught by the card that Varus dropped on the table. "That's got a little over a thousand creds on it. It's all I've got on me. Would that be enough to convince a freighter pilot to make a slight detour to Ossus before he gets on with his business?", he asked, retracting his hand and crossing his arm back over the other as he waited for an answer.

[member="Seraphina Shel'tah"]

Following behind Varus and into the megastructure station Sera watched quietly as Varus addressed the human female, inquiring as to whether or not they would be able to hitch a ride off of Phindar that night. The woman seemed rather disinterested in his request, noting that none of the freighters would be carrying passengers or deviating from their course, noting the one headed towards Felucia. That was before Varus flaunted a credit chit worth around 1,000 Republic credits in the woman's face. Suddenly, she seemed quite a bit more interested in his destination, and the vessels that were being prepped that night.

She inspected the credit chit for a few moments, likely making sure that it was authentic, before shifting her eyes back to Varus, and to his pink Twi'lek companion with a strange raise of the eyebrow. "Let me check what is leaving in the next few hours and headed out that way. The freighter to Felucia is already set to depart in the next thirty minutes, so I can't help you there. Will your slave be accompanying you? Best I know this now before we put you on the wrong boat."

The facial expression on the Twi'lek seemed to sour rather quickly following that comment, but she restrained herself from the angry retort she wished to deliver to the woman, in exchange to simply get off of Phindar, and also to see what Varus might say in regard to that sentiment.

[member="Varus Shatterstar"]

Varus laughed lightly as he reached out and snatched the card off of the table with one quick motion. "You don't get this until we get on one of those boats.", he told her as he glanced over at Seraphina, sapphire eyes watching her close as they narrowed slightly. "And this one's been my slave... my pet... my master and owner. She's also been a confidant and friend. Can't you see the connection here?", Varus asked with a confident smirk as he leaned up off of the counter and reached out to wrap his arm around Sera's waist and pull her against his hip.

"This is my beautiful wife.", the young Jedi said with confidence in his voice as he grow increasingly pleased with his little game, realizing that Sera would be interested in how he would respond to the rude young human woman's assumption.

[member="Seraphina Shel'tah"]

The woman snickered and mumbled something under her breath as Varus pulled the credit chit back away from her. Both the woman and Sera listened as he recited what exactly she was to him. Initially Sera's eyes shot a somewhat irritated look at the mention of being his slave and pet, then realized what he was getting at, and upon finishing his dialog and explanation, pulling her abruptly pulled her close to him, smiled back at Varus and the woman, though she remained quiet, awaiting the woman's answer.

Looking to Sera and Varus, the dispatcher simply shrugged and turned her head towards the terminal and began scanning through the various vessels that were departing the Phindar system towards something relatively close to Ossus. "Saleucami. We have a ship headed to Saleucami in four hours. I will contact the captain of the ship "Tersella" at dock 14 and let them know he will be carrying Republic cargo to Ossus. Now before I submit this manifest, I'll need you and your...Wife's....Payment." The woman smiled a coy smile at Varus.
