The Imperial Dropship was created by Velran Kilran and Moda Dorn. Inspired by the Clone War era LAAT in which Velran viewed as the best transport ever created, Velran sought to create a transport that improves on the LAAT. Providing it with sublight engines that allows the transport to zip through the air making it hard to it. Velran also expanded on the capacity, having the transport carry more soldiers to provide help on the battlefield as well providing armaments so that the transport can defend itself as well as provide air support. Sadly, Velran didn't have enough in the budget to cover the defenses, so pilots had to skilled in maneuvering the Transport.

- Cheers love! The calvary is here!: Imperial Transport is armed with cluster missiles and laser cannons as well as blaster repeaters making it very useful as aerial support.
- Paper Thin Defense: Other than reinforced Durasteel, the Imperial Transport doesn't have much in way of a defense. One missile could reduce it to scrap so the Imperial Transport needs to rely on its speed and maneuverability to get through.
