- Accessibility: Due to Vaal being a backwater world, finding the outpost would be by sheer luck and accidental unless you are directly communicating with the station's secured Imperial channels. If the IFF systems flag you as enemy, you'll be shot down without warning. The station is located in a remote area only accessible by air. This was made possible by way of artificial moat circling the station.
- Description: The IMPCOMSTA Iris is set to serve as an upgrade to the previous listening outpost on the planet Vaal. While the base still commits to it's original purpose, it was made much larger and given much better defenses than the one prior.
- Command Information Center - The brain of the entire outpost. This rather large room is where the commanding officer of the base is given detailed information regarding the system and everything within it. Here, the CO commands and controls the defenses of the outpost.
- Comms Room - This room is where all communications come in, get deciphered, and are relayed to the CO.
- Mess Hall - This is where the soldiers stationed at the outpost eat.
- Power Station - This underground facility provides the necessary power needed to run the base. Only way here is by a singular elevator that descends deep below the surface to the station.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Imperial Communications Station Iris had begun construction when RADM Zahori Denko came to the pilot by order of the Dark Lord in order to oversee the construction of an Imperial Garrison that would dwarf the previous one. And she did just that. Instead of just some listening outpost, she ordered the construction of a full military outpost with all the fixings. The outpost now features advanced telecommunications encryption along with state of the art defenses and certified secured networks to any and all military bases within the Sith Empire.
Construction took several weeks. A bit longer than anticipated due to the local wildlife population. Once construction was complete, Zahori ordered the station to be manned immediately. And so it was. She stood by for a few days to ensure that her station was properly manned and ready to complete the mission set forth by the Read Admiral for the station.
